we don't do well in the senior world cup is because most of our U17 and U 20 players are over age. Nigeria footballers are notorious for age cheating. So by the time most of the junior players graduate to the senior team they will be too old and worn out while those players from European countries will be at their peak and develop

If CCT can adjorned bcs of an appeal in the appelate court, wht stops him to adjorn whn the matter was taken to supreme court. Load 300naira and get 1GB internet data free for 2weeks, could you imagine the number of mtn internet users that will take that offer? Just multiply that sum by 2million users.

How much value does it take to produce 1GB data of 300naira?

comparing BP and MTN is like comparing oranges and apple. BP is a fortune 500 company and is worth 100s of billions dollars. Besides most of the payments were for cleaning of the Gulf of Mexico cause by the oil spill. MTN is not going to pay 1.07 trillion naira and I think you know that. I believe NCC is going to reduce the fine because they don't really have any justification to fine that huge amount of money which Nigeria can't even make in a month.

You don't need to get unnecessarily bitter about this issue, NCC didn't just wake up to impose the fine, the 200k/SIM has been spelt out since inception of the SIM registration exercise which MTN is a party to. They can do the calculations themselves and inform the public about it.

you and I know MTN is not going to pay that 1.08 trillion naira so no need to argue. MTN Nigeria don't even make that amount of money in a yr. NCC should fine MTN but the payments should be reasonable

Take note of the word staggered...... Which is the same thing as spread payment.

MTN Nigeria is not worth that amount of money. If you think MTN is going to pay NCC 1.04 trillion naira then you know nothing about MTN. NCC are also dumb for fineing MTN that amount of money when they know MTN can't afford to pay it. It make them look stupid.

no. You need only 2/3 of senators present at the senate floor. So if 79 senators are present when the motion for impeachment is made, only 2/3 of the 79 senators present at the senate floor is required to impeach the senate president or DSP. Those absent in the senate floor can't vote.

Don't blame the DSP. If he had left the senate floor. There would have been a coup at the senate today. An APC member would have move for the motion for the impeachment of him and without him or pdp members on the senate floor. He would have been easily been impeached

what do you want Saraki to do and undo. Unlike David Mark, Saraki is not really an influential senate president and is bearly holding on to power. He doesn't even has the support of his party. Saraki is just playing safe and probably don't want to lose the little support he has from some of the remaining APC senators. Anyway, Saraki could not have been able to stop Ameachi or any minister as long as the minister has support of majority of the APC senators. Even the Ethics report won't have made any difference because they are all corrupt.

its not the senate president that confirm and screen a minister nominee. Even if Saraki had oppose the confirmation of Ameachi, it won't have made any difference because he is not allow to vote in the senate floor unless there is a tie. As long as Ameachi had the support of majority of APC senators , he would be confirm as a minister
