Delydex: To every rumour there is always some elements of truth, trust no one. He could be a Boko Haram Sponsor. Meanwhile, I have come to realise that boko Haram cabinet have started to feed on each other like carnivore so dont be surprised by all these. But you have not answered my question Who was sponsoring BH before and who is, after Ihejirika? |
ogmask: Who said pple are not making money frm ebola already.Ask the politicians.Don't mind the village ignoramus above you. As we speak, several Nairalanders are already in contact with me. |
100Cents: [s]Nah your papa dey stu.pid. illiterate son of a palm wine tapper.Your problem is poverty. In that case, I really cannot be of help to you. Now run along. |
Ihejirika became CAS in September 2010 and left that office in January 2014 Before then who was sponsoring Boko Haram? After he left, who has been sponsoring Boko Haram? How did he just jump into the sponsorship mid way? You see, the idea of Ihejirika being involved, even remotely, in sponsoring BH is tenuous at best |
100Cents: Go and sit down !You are stewpid. People protect themselves at any cost they can afford. Okay, go an and start shaking and touching anybody you meet on the streets. Bunkum |
We were hopeful that this good augury will serve as impetus for greater political stability and development regardless of the evil visitation and arrival of a full blown terrorist insurgency into the shores of our beautiful country.I am hearing this word (augury) for the first time. Meaning: sign or omen Now I agree Jonathan has a ''PhD'' ![]() BTW, well written and balanced article. He pandered a little bit to Igbo interest, but that is not unexpected, being an Igbo audience. He would do the same for a Yoruba or Fulani audience. |
I also believe that the time is now to build on the foundations laid by the elders and leaders in Igboland by adopting technology and planning, so as to deliver better planned functional modern cities that would attract the growing population of the Igbo in the diaspora, so that they can come back and settle to a lifestyle commensurate with what they have helped to develop elsewhere. This is the crux of the whole story |
Hey Folks, I am thinking of a business angle to the Ebola crises How about supplying hand gloves (HG) and nose masks as a first-step to limiting contact with the Ebola virus? Note that hand gloves and nose masks will not cure Ebola, it will only reduce human contact with contaminated fluid or surfaces (in the case of HG) and breathing aerosols/air containing the virus(in the case of nose masks) Anyone interested? We can discuss details |

Teen Forced To Marry Dog In World's Most Bizarre Wedding Ceremony (Photos) Ruff deal: An 18-year-old girl in India (pictured -1) was ordered by village elders to marry a dog (left) to lift a bad-luck curse that's hanging over her A teenager married a DOG during a lavish Indian wedding in front of at least 70 guests. Unhappy Mangli Munda, 18, from a remote part of eastern India, was told by village elders that marrying the confused canine would ward off an evil spell. A local guru told her parents the teenager possessed ill-luck and that marrying a man would bring destruction to the family and her community. The baffled dog, Sheru, was brought to the wedding in a chauffeur driven car and welcomed by revellers. Mangli, who has not been to school, said she was not happy to wed a dog, but insisted that it will help change her fortunes. The hesitant bride said: "I am marrying a dog because the village elders believe that my evil spell will be passed on to the dog. "After that is done, the man I will marry will have a long life." Stray dog named Sheru pictured on the wedding day in Jharkhand, India. Sheru was left wondering what all the fuss was about Mangli's father Sri Amnmunda agreed and even found a stray dog named Sheru as a match for his daughter. He said: "The village elders told us that we should organise the wedding as soon as we can. We had to make sure that the evil spell is destroyed. "And marrying a dog is the only way to get rid of the bad luck." And amazingly, this not the first time that a local girl has wed a dog in the village. Mangli Munda poses on her wedding day with a stray dog in Jharkhand, India. Welcome to the family: Sheru was pampered during the ceremony Sri added: "Many weddings like this have taken place in our village and also the other neighbouring villages. This is a custom that we thoroughly believe in." According to the village's customs, the marriage will not affect Mangli’s life, and she will be free to marry again later without divorcing the dog. "My villagers say that many girls like me have followed this ritual and they have gotten rid of their evil spells and are living happy lives now," said Mangli. Mangli Munda poses with her father Sri Amnmunda and stray dog on her wedding day in Jharkhand, India. "I will also be free to marry a man of my dreams after after the evil spell is over." Crowds: The whole village showed up to watch At the wedding ceremony, people danced to traditional drumming, while around 70 relatives and local villagers attended the wedding. "Apart from the fact that the groom is a dog, we followed all customs. We respect the dog as much as we would respect a normal groom," said Mangli's mother Seems Devi. "We had to spend money on this wedding in the same way as we would in a normal wedding. But that is the only way we can get rid of her bad luck and ensure the benevolence of the village." Now with the marriage ceremony over, Mangli has to take care of the dog and raise him as a pet for the next few months. Mangli added: "I will marry a man one day. It is the dream of every girl to marry a prince charming. So I am also waiting for my prince." arresa: What difference does it make? According to your own government, they know the sponsors and have promised to reveal them times uncountable, but it was all lies and con game designed to fool and string Nigerians along..What a load of garbage. Why do we have real names of some alleged sponsors and droplets of generic info on others? Answer that or scram away |
Obiagelli: lets leave that to the security agencies and the courts to handle. Even murder cases are solved without witnesses. So you are willing to prosecute such an important case as this with no credible witnesses? You are willing to bring SAS and Ihejirika to court, waste our money on the litigation process, and have the case thrown out eventually? You are hoping that Ihejirika and SAS could be convicted based on rumor from an Aussie? Therein lies the extent of your knowledge and interest. |
Obiagelli: Have the aussie turned down request to appear in court?Of course, the Aussie is easy to get to appear in court. But would BH appear in court as well? That is the main question. Actually the Aussie is not that important since he got his info from BH. So BH would have to be in court to substantiate the claim of the Aussie, yes? No? |
Obiagelli, Would you agree that taking SAS and Ihejirika to court and getting them convicted would require the court presence of the Aussie and the BH people who told him the tale he is feeding us with? |
arresa: While stringing together your attack the messenger rubbish, you should have asked yourself why the same man you are attacking was hired by your president and the federal republic of Nigeria to deal with BH in the first place..Can you think of any reason why the Aussie should be choosing which BH sponsor to name and which not to name? What did he achieve when Obj hired him? |
Obiagelli: why not go and read the initial article and how the release was sabotaged by the same people that declared a bounty for information about girls hours before their release. It is a pity that you chose to swallow the Aussie's story hook, line, and sinker. It is him v everyone else. He can make any claim using BH's name. To people like you, Oyibo is God infallible. With people like you, Africa remains in the stone age. |
Alphaoscar: diversionary tactics!!! u guys should go and bury your heads in sand. even if their is anybody to answer your questions in should be your GEJ or you still want Buhari or Tinubu to answer that for you? Direct your clueless question to the Professor of Otueke or jexux of Okrika. You semi-literate man. Why did you see Tinubu or Buhari mentioned here? |
Obiagelli: Operation attack the messenger,If you are the one who paid the Aussie to negotiate the release of the Chibok girls and he failed to do so and instead gave you all these half information, which are at best useless, would you be happy paying that money? Would you consider the assignment accomplished? Let's be objective for once. |
In fact, looking at Ihejirika, he does not appear to have the charisma, gut, or even brain to pull this through. Imagine an ''Nyamiri'' Christian from Ovim, Abia State sponsoring northerners/muslims to kill northerners and other Nigerians (including those from Ihejirika's ethnic group) and destroy a northern State? |
eunisam: Not about money. Its about name. What name? Did he achieve what he was paid to do? If not, why so? + Why does he give us half information that is completely useless to us? |
I believe the Aussie man did not work for free as a supposed negotiator for the kidnapped girls in Chibok, Borno. He must have been paid millions of dollars for this service Now let's analyze (roughly) the outcomes of his findings and relate them to the service paid for Outcome 1 Sheriff is a Boko Haram (BH) sponsor This information has been in the grapevine for a long time now. This is what we already know, long before the entry of the Aussie into the scene; so money wasted in paying the Aussie for already known information Outcome 2 Ihejirika is a Boko Haram sponsor This is a new one, I admit. But does he deserve the payment for this? No. Why? Because he claimed he was given this information by BH. BH has a problem with the army and Ihejirika was head of that army. For now, it is BH v Ihejirika (or the Aussie v Ihejirika) and we know what that would mean in a law court: case thrown out for lack of evidence. Otherwise, the BH person(s) who gave him the information would have to appear in court to substantiate it. For now, we need a different source for this information to be genuine. Personally, I believe that Ihejirika could not have sponsored BH, or if he does, could not have done so alone because (1) he does not fight in the actual battle ground, (2) he had a military boss in the rank of Chief of General Staff (CGS), (3) he had GOCs and commanders who must know his ulterior and genuine moves regarding BH, (4) he is not a Muslim, and (5) neither is he from the North. Therefore, there is no obvious benefit for him to support BH and there is no way he could single-handedly have pulled this through militarily. The above in bold is my opinion, of course. But we as the owners of the money used to pay the Aussie must be given more information by the Aussie to justify the payment he received for this (less than) half information about Ihejirika. Outcome 3: The opposition party is a sponsor of BH What is the opposition party in Nigeria? How many such parties do we have? Which of them are BH sponsors? Is a political party a human being by law? Which party members are BH sponsors? Who in the party takes responsibility for the BH-sponsoring acts of a political party? See, so many questions but no answer. In this assignment, the Aussie again failed woefully in providing tangible information. Money paid him for this has, thus, been wasted. Outcome 4 A high official of CBN is a sponsor of BH Who is this person? Why is he nameless? Did we pay the Aussie to provide us with half information? In the absence of tangible name of the CBN official, money paid him for this service is wasted. Outcome 5 Release of Chibok girls Ultimately, the Aussie was paid to negotiate the release of the girls. That was why he was contracted in the first place. However, up till now, the girls are still unreleased and the Aussie is gone home to Australia with a swelled bank account. Money paid for this service wasted. In summary, the Aussie could not deliver on his primary and major assignment, and to try to justify his pay, he diverts our attention to sponsors of Boko Haram because it is a cheaper shot to take. He knows how this will take attention away from the matter he failed to achieve. See, Nigeria has helped enrich one man who in his own country is very likely a nobody. Once again, Africans (in this case Nigerians) have proven to be the dumbest people on earth. Any Dick, Tom, and Harry with a white skin can make a profit (sometimes without any investment) from Africa just by throwing bones at Africans. The Aussie threw bones at Nigerians and they grabbed and chewed on them, while he took the real meat back home. The Nigerian masses should be asking this dupe of an Australian to refund the money he was paid for the unrendered service or provide the tangibles for which he was paid. We should be carrying placards and protesting in front of the Australian embassy in Nigeria. |
barcanista: unfortunate for them, there won't be "free money" to share under APC Govt. The era of "share the money to the boys" will end under APC govt that will be formed in 2015. But the good news is that we shall send them to skill aquisition centers, rehabilitate them, train them and after the training they will have cause for steady by legitimate flow of income thru hardwork.Ekiti and aregbesola rice comes to mind. Do you have ebola for brain? |
Cone-headed op, did you include Ekiti people in your analysis? Remember they are now PDP. And Osun will soon be PDP too. You be proper goat. |
Syenite: Same thing that happened to Obasanjo's supporters after 2007.Thank you o jare! |
Alishachris: op they do not have a brain to think that far ahead! And I hope you will hang yourself if after 2019 another PDP person becomes president instead of APC? |
Op: And when Buhari and/or Tinubu die(s), which, being mortal(s), could happen even before 2015, who will you be supporting next? The fleeting nature of life seems lost on you. |
People come and people go. Enough of all these stoopid divisive projections. If anyone thinks after 2019 they can rule Nigeria without SE and SS votes, they had better have their head examined. Stoopid op, stoopid thread. |
caseless: i'm not yoruba. I jst hate ppl that 'tribalize' every issue. Maybe cliford orji was a yoruba man, too.Stop denying your heritage. |
Op, you can also have cattles and sheeps. Yoruba illiterates, gbogbo yin. |
caseless: Religion is our problem in this country cos we don't practice what we preach. Simple tolerance is lacking in our society despite the heavy presence of religion and widespread houses of worship. When you get your Oduduwa Republic, Yoruba Christians will be endangered species, with Yoruba muslims like you around. Thank God I am neither Yoruba nor Muslim. |
