edicolove: It is good when someone does a good thing and they should be commended. But in all sincerity, this is not s great deed. This is a scam that has become typical of nigerian entertainment people. I know a lot of them but wont call names. They go about claiming to help the less priviledge but they are just scammers and crooks. Omotola has not sold up to 5000 copies of her CD. This is fact from Alaba. She makes about N5 per CD. that is what artists make in naija. Cds are sold at maximum of N50 per CD at Alaba to retailers. In summary, she hasnt made up to N70 from her album. Dont believe all the hype you hear on TV. She will make far more from her shows than from the album. She should donate part of her show money if she really wants to help the less priviledge. Just stating the facts. I dont hate her. They should stop using the less priviledge as a platform to project themselves. It is wrong. Beautiful Nonsense! |

1. Will you embrace your new partner and live your lives 2. Will you sue your parents
I need your comments pls Somehow, I wonder if west is really a good place to train children! Op, I guess you might have lived abroad for almost all your life, or better stil, born and brought up over there. Do you know that if I even decide to give 100 suggestion of what I would do if I discover that am a twin, Sue-ing my parents will NEVER come to my mind at alllllllllllllllll. (maybe) @2good is one of those peeps that would travel abroad, and after tasting some kind of change that they have never expirienced before in Africa, they'll finally put it in conclusion that, life in abroad is better than life in Nigeria (Africa) in any aspect (which is dead WRONG).
@2good, which kian tax u dey pay for Naija
Lol. . .Me sef I taya O! NaijaNile: Very Interesting Post,
If i was asked to choose where to raise my child between the US and Nigeria, I would definitely choose Nigeria, As the parent of the child I am far more comfortable with the values here in Nigeria and also take comfort that there are more people around here who can also contribute to upbringing of the child.
I am far more comfortable with church here also, therefore I would raise my child here until I am sure he/she has imbibed the values I want instilled in them or are of age, afterwards they can go whereever they want. {Train up a child in the way he should go and when he grows up he will not depart from it}.
I cant imagine my son telling me its alright to "perm" his hair, or my daughter telling me its alright to wear micro-mini skirts, or for them to tell me at age 16yrs that its alright for them to stay out till 10p.m, or as someone told me recently to understand if someone says they are gay or lesbian, pray how can i understand that
America? A place where your child calls the police on you if you try to discipline them? NO WAY, . . .+2 jujube: When you talk about traiining your child, it could be in terms of education or moral trainng. Well as far as Nigeria is concerned, if a child want to have a future he has to be trained abroad. Yeah. Exactly! It's only those living abroad that has brighter future. And all those in Nigeria are futureless, right? Why are there still hundreds of foreigners flocking in Nigerian everyday for brighter future? Well. . .Last I checked, everybody has right to his or her opinion, so, I guess that's yours, RESPECTED (but, mind you, it's not fact) !!! Topic - If I even decide to train my children abroad, America won't even be amongst the first 10 countries on my list. |

majoroller: i just hate it when ppl come here and make comment about tribes, there's nothing as being ibo,Yoruba or Hausa in crime if you criminal minded you simply are, where you from dont matter,i happen to know alot of people in this tobechi rings because i have live in newyork before even though they're the younger ones when i was living in newyork my point is there are also alot of yorubas and other tribe that have been arrested on this same wire transfer level and if you know what it's you'll know that awhole lot of them made mad money from this scam and tobi wasn't the only one and they all use the same method, tobi was only lucky and smarter maybe, so again i dont like when we start condemning our own not saying it's justifiable but when Italians,Irish,Russia,Indians etc do crime like this we call them mafias and all sort of names to praise them, they even have blockbusters movie on them, plus they get lesser times in jail,so why do we totally condemn ours, the truth is there are good and bad citizen everywhere in the world and we equally have our own share of that plus the government is not even helping matters, look at the Arabs they have oil and have used it to better their countries and their citizens,we have little of everything and nothing to show for it, i think we should address this much more than looking at people that has failed because their country has also failed and everyone is left to survive on their own with their family, We youth have also failed because we lack the courage to demand for our right.
