Op, tell you what, if I have a kind of father that would go checkin my phone without my knowledge, and after knowin that I was angry for what he did, would later call me and ask me to come and watch my favourite tv programme, I'll be the happiest human on earth to have such father, he's such a kind and lovin dad.

Let me give U a lil tip about my dad. . .He is D kinda father that, whenever we all are in D palour watchin tv programme, and he's there, it's NIGHTMARE 4 U to talk to D person next to U (figure out the remainin yourself)!

What fascination do you Nigerians really have with people's skin tones? The issue of an individual's skin tone has to come up in every other thread. Jeeeeeeez!!

The girl in the photo is obviously Rita and I don't understand how someone can label that girl as "dark".

But this is very common in Yoruba land.

Ya, exactly. We'r both sayin the same thing, Jp, they have their own Chinese new year (that is being celebrated februarys), but, most of them also recognised and celebrates the norm January 1st of every year that is celebrated round the world.

Oga, now, you'r talkin about western mentality (when even a week old baby has it's own room), plus, she (the Op) is stil a minor. What privacy are you stil talkin about? Or do you think b'cos she said she's -18 meanin she doesn't have a guy that takes care of her (secretly)? Is she workin? Who's incharge of buyin her airtime whenever she has none on her phone(when she said her father doesn't do that for her, and the only good time she spends with her mom is 'Hi')?

I, myself will give my children their privacy, but, not when they'r stil -18, feel me?

FYI, even a world famous music star, justin bieber stil get grounded by his parents. last year (some months ago), I read of an interview about him when he went to Australia, and he was asked being a young and teenage famous musician, if he's allowed by his parents to go wherever he wants to, and he replied NEVER, that even some few weeks ago (then), his mom just seized his phone and computer (I'll try and get you the link if you want me to).

For me, I'll pay my children their respect of privacy, esp on mobile. And when am talkin about my children, Im not talkin about under-aged, but, from 18+ (I don't even pick up my gf's call, not even once, till date), but, if Im your father, and was lucky enough to see all what you ranted here, believe me, I WILL ALWAYS HAVE MY EYES CHECKED ON YOU ALL TIME b'cos. . . . .
