HealthCan Madness Be Heriditary? by Rapmoney(op): 12:02am On Mar 19, 2015
I saw a young man recently, who was walking the street unclad...mere looking at the appearance of this dude showed that he was going through some mental torture!!! A friend of mine told me that he knew this guy way back, when he was still normal...intelligent and groovy then. All of a sudden, he lost his sanity. Makes me wonder what happened and why do people lose their sanity huh

Some persons, both the learned and non-learned, have attributed insanity to weed smoking (drugs); some say it could be caused by spiritual manipulations, while others say it could result from medical conditions.

Now, what about hereditary? I have heard many people say madness could be heridary. How true is this? Does it mean one can get mad because someone in their family line (lineage) became insane at a particular point in time?

What makes people lose their sanity? Is it hereditary?

Please, your views and opinions will be highly appreciated.

Thanks.

Flogging works for some students, but not for all students'

I once gave a pry 4 pupil this punishment - Write " I will not shit on the ground" 300 times

Ever since then, the class has been 'shit-free'. Plus he would know how to spell those words for life .......yea that includes the word "shit" tongue

It has it's good and bad effect....too much flogging is bad.......but Parents have to start correcting their children right from childhood...before they clock 20 they would've have known the good from bad..
Though, it is not bad to flog a disobedient child as a way of correcting him or her but the way some teachers and care-givers go about it is outrageous!!!

I'll tell you from experience that flogging and other forms of bodily injuries inflicted on kids do not exactly serve the purposes for which they're done.
My father flogged me one kind flogging 18yrs ago, I still haven't forgotten and it has completely tuned me off him.
Best option, make a child know the wrong from the right. They do have minds!
Nice one there! It could lead psychological instability when the flogging becomes too much!

Some quote "spare the rod, and spoil the child" to justify bodily harm on kids. But, in the holy texts, the rod was also a tool shepherds used to direct sheep with care/love in the fields – also cite Moses with his rod leading the Israelites – Africans have misquoted it to justify beastly treatment towards kids/wards… it's sickening! angry
You are correct bro. These days, they even use hands on kids in pre-school/pre-nursery!!! Imagine 2-3 yrs old kids eating spanks from the hard concrete hands of some day care teachers as if the poor kids are eating biscuits!

I tell you the truth, it is not about the cain but about the intent. If before venting a disciplinary action on a subject, we take time to analyse the impact on the long run, then we would find out that we've all gone wrong.
Most times, teachers and parents inflicts bodily hurt without considering the mental damage which is even the eternal and hardly reparable.
What i know from experience is that cain does no good as positive word should do. It's good to chestise with rod but i believe that with good positive intent backing it up, we can never have such gory experience of a young chap blinded by slap metted to her face by a principal.
Nice post there bro! I still think caning, especially when it comes too often, can place unnecessary fear in the mind of a child and makes him/her to pass through emotional and psychological truama!

Often times, dull pupils/students are flogged by their teachers when they fail to answer questions correctly. Sometimes, it could be that a pupil/student violated one of the rules and regulations of the school, and they are flogged (We all know the average Nigerian child could be very stubborn and rebelious most times), sometimes, ruthlessly!!! Please, is there any benefit or benefits in flogging a pupil/student? Even when you flog a dull child constantly, the child might still remain dull all through out school.

I was inspired to create this thread after reading the touching story of a student in Western Nigeria, whose one eye was blinded by the secretary of the principal of her school via a mysterious slap!

Thanks...goodevening all!

WRONG!! It's only a guy that's not confident, never really liked/loved her or a guy that does not have his love game on lock that will goof in this aspect. I see nothing wrong in that question. You'd have a reason for wanting more than just friends with a girl. If you don't have the answer immediately, take your time and slowly whip out a convincing reason.
I bet you, you would need to be sincere when you answer questions that have to do with affection. You don't just look for one reason to tell her! You can't cook up reasons except you are the insincere type.

well this write up is strictly my point of view, now due to the fact that marriage means the coming together of man and woman to become one and husband and wife, 'wats now the essence of traditional marriage when a white wedding can simply be done with a man of GOD involve and the exchange of marital vows and ring. "i really dont know the importance of traditional marriage becaus what i think is that its just a waste of resources on the part of the man. "pls dont get me wrong for i am not saying the man is running away by spending money becaus the white wedding itself involves a lot of money including the reception for family and guests. so i just want to know is traditional marriage that important?
With this reasoning of yours, I can see that you have lost your identity as an African!!! Okay, go on and copy the white man. Slave mentality!!! SMH!
Family5 Silly Things A Lady Should Never Say On A First Date!!! by Rapmoney(op): 6:57am On Mar 15, 2015
I wonder why some ladies find it difficult to restrain themselves from raising up certain issues when they go out on a date with a guy. I still think discussions on the first date, should revolve round light issues, such as the other person's taste in music, fashion, entertainment...their favourite programme on TV/Radio, career, schooling, etc. It should not be used to raise some unnecessary, annoying and embarassing issues. Please, ladies I use Amadioha name beg una, stop telling or asking a guy the following things when you go out on a date with him for the first time!!! Your assumed 'cleverness' might make the young man to see you in a negative light; especially, a young man who is intelligent, hardworking and ambitious with lots of dreams!

1) Don't start telling him your problems right away. Some girls are very fond of this! The first date they have with a guy means pouring out all their problems, even those ones that sound very annoying. I once had a date with a girl some few years back, who instantly told me at our rendezvous that her mum was sick in the hospital and they would need about 80k to treat her! A girl I just met the previous day? I didn't even know her surename!!! She requested that I help her with the money...I saw lies all written in her eyes. That same day, I deleted her number! Please, give yourself some respect when you go on a date! First impression matters. You gain the respect of a man when you respect yourself first. He has invited you for a date because he admires you, want both of you to spend quality time together and get to know each other better. It shouldn't be an opportunity to bore him with all the problems you have been passing through since you were born! How your school fees were not paid and need to be paid...how your mother's business crumbled and need to be revived...how your father lost his job and need to be helped...how your sister, Nkechi was duped and need to start up again! I mean, these are pure craps!!! If you continue this way, am sorry to tell you, you might just end up with a rogue for a husband!!!

2) It is not bad to know where a guy works or the nature of business he does on a first date, but when you start trying to know how much he receives or the amount he has in his accouts, it means you have crossed the line of sanity!!! Who are you to him? A new or prospective employer? You wan employ the young man? Why you dey ask am how much deh dey pay am? If you do this, one sure thing should be on my mind. That is: You are more concerned about my finance and how much you would be getting from me than my character and person!

3) Asking him that lame question: 'Why do you like me?'!!! Common!!! What do you expect him to say? That he likes you because of your big butt or bo.obs? Or your straight legs? Or your accent? On a first date? You don't expect him to quickly work his brain like an HP Pavillion and compile all the reasons he likes you just like that! Within seconds? Any guy that answers that question on a first date has answerd a lame question and be rest assured that the guy would come up with a lame answer too! cheesy

4) Don't tell him the numerous admirers you have and how they have been pestering you in order not to look 'too available'! Please, save that for the dogs! He wouldn't want to hear that! It is the gospel truth. If you admire him too and want to start up something with him, let him know you are available! The minds of some men change quickly like the flash of lightening! He might see you as a possible 'wasted venture'. Being available doesn't, in any way, make you cheap and vice versa.

5) Don't tell him how Michael Majid look so cute in a movie that you would wish to date him or how Davido got swag that you are attracted to him!!! What are you trying to do? To make him jealous? Why nau? How old are you? Only under aged girls do that. Any girl that says that on a date is either a kid or just pretending to be one!

I hope the ladies will reason to understand.
