Its all about networking. Btw, where is Regent schools in Abuja? Abuja diplomats and ministers send their kids there.Heard they pay as much as 8000 dollars. I believe American international school,Nigerian Turkish International school and Lead British International school all pay in dollars and are very expensive.

lofty900: I also get turned on. Does that make me a pervert ? I don't get it, re-phrase

lofty900: u make me laugh. 1st of all, I didn't say I always stare @ n.aked kids, I said that if I focus my gaze long enough I become aroused just like that and it's the same with all guys, but a lot will deny because they don't want to be called psychos. A guys brain is programmed that way. Easily controlled by sight but it's only good morals and self control that keeps guys from doing silly stuffs. Getting aroused does not make one a perv but doing d deed does. Goodmorning

lofty900 you get turned on by the sight of naked kids and you ask if you are a pervert? Why on earth should you focus your gaze long enough on a naked kid? You also justify and rationalize this illness of yours by believing that all men get an erection from looking at a child? You are sick.

I jumped out of my seat without shoes,i was scared shitless I thought it happened on my close until i saw smoke from Emab plaza. I shivered and almost peed on myself, i became dumb and couldn't speak. Chai! Terrible day devil drink water. May the souls of the lost ones rest in peace and God's healing on the injured.

I have followed this thread silently and greatly admired the chateau i have waited for updates not knowing that something else was brewing.

@ Brabus you have been accused of fund diversion, failure to perform on jobs paid for other acts with the intention to defraud. This chateau was an opportunity for you to prove yourself to be a changed professional. As a business owner, your word should be your bond, integrity will set you apart from thousands if you display that trait and in little time, you actions will open many doors for you. You keep getting second chances yet you are bent on destroying what you have managed to build over the years. Are you not a yoruba man? ba wo ni ti e se wa ri bayi? you need to sit and have a rethink before you destroy your business and reputation. I hope it means something to you.

Your clients have stated their part and instead of you to address the issues raised you are trying to cover your tracks and divert to unimportant and irrelevant matters. You display false humility yet refuse to defend yourself like you should (that is if there is any defense at all).

@Neophyte-mason and Vimo3 the false humility displayed by him is irritating, how have you been able to stand him? Forget amicable settlement and do all you can to get a refund, don't bank on empty promises.

Fashion / Re: Beauty Of Natural Hair Thread :) by raqueal(f): 1:38pm On Nov 29, 2013
I have been transitioning for 9 months now. I have had 2 chops and hope to do the final in January. The early months were difficult as i had to deal with tangles and headaches that i almost gave up but I'm glad i never looked back. I came across this thread and read about the importance of conditioning, moisturizing and protective styling. I have done the 3 and my hair is softer, stronger and increased in length. I use natural oils, cheap shampoo and conditioner cheesy and that's about it. When i am richer, I'll try expensive products and additional regimen but till then..this works just fine for me.

Thanks smiley

in a pan, melt 3 tbsp of butter. Add 2 chopped garlic. Mix in 2 tbsp of plain flour. Fry for 1 minute. Add 2-3 cups of sliced fresh button mushrooms. Add 3 cups of stock and cook for 10 minutes. Add in 1/2 cup of cream and black pepper. At this point, you would take half of the soup and mushrooms and blend this till smooth. Pour back in the pot and you are done.

Guard your hearts, watch your thoughts, don't give in to negativity, Build friendships but don't hang your lives on it, Speak and don't bottle it in, do something you love, volunteer. If you are a christian, immerse yourself in the bible, ask God for help, rule out suicide, seek professional help, take your medication and take each day as it comes. Life will challenge you, but you are made of tougher stuff Peace

Recipe sounds nice. You may want to try out different spices and do something different with the chicken e.g marinading the chicken before hand, trying out the most tasty kind of cheese to compliment the potatoes e.t.c. Just a basic improvement of the recipe if need be. I hope you scale through the audition. Congrats.

Too excited to go into details!
The man made it clear he wasnt a Christain!
He said the religion was 'Esin Ajeji' ; Strange Religion.
He said Jesus isnt part of us here, he buttressd it that he's a Babalawo.
He was dressd like a prof.
Wen i saw him initiali, i knw sumtn was unique abt him, dresd in white buba and white shoes and cap and white beards.

U can abuse me o, i no send u, was just excited cuz i tot this existed online only.

Maybe you should suppress the excitement next time. A babalawo is not an atheist since he believes in a diety/god. He is suitably classified as a pagan or traditionalist. Also, traditionalists abound and it shouldn't have warranted this kind of "excitement".

So nairalanders especially ladies, please make your input especially 190, Born2phuck, bushyanus, onila, sexkilllZ, et al. MATURE COMMENTS PLEASE

something tells me that you are probably just kidding.

A 35 year old man has unprotected sex with a 31 year old woman whom he has no intentions to marry and expects her to have an abortion? I'm sure this will sound ridiculous to you if you read it slowly. Again, you do not want to marry her and you do not want your kid to be raised by another man or in your absence. You think you have a right to give options/decide this when you are not interested in marriage? You lost that right when you ignored that condom. She is 31 and shall do as she pleases.

Wadosky: my brother house rent in abuja is very high .
abuja is a very beautiful city but considering u r not financially stable ,you r not going to be staying in places like gwarinpa, asokoro, wuse, garki, maitama,.places like lugbe, kuje gwagwalada maraba nyanya masaka could match ur income.kubwa deidei suleja dutse can also match ur income.
a small self contain in lugbe can go between 250 to 300k per annum with or without water supply.
security is not that tight in abuja, daylight burglary is common in some certain areas.
foodstuffs are cheap when u go to bush markets around abuja.
transportation is affordable when you use big buses.
.

With 200k/ 250, he'll get a detached bis sized self con in Kubwa and live like a king with security and water he doesn't have to go as far as Lugbe. Daylight robbery? Where? Bush market? Big buses? Maka gini? When most every private car owner in Abuja picks up passengers for 100/150 naira for 15-25 minutes non-stop distance. When cabs would charge you probably 800 for the same trip?
I stay in Dawaki extention which is opp Galadinma and I spend 330 naira or 430 max daily to Wuse 2 without taking big buses. My rent is 200k, my water runs and I v security. I go to Dutse market which is like most Lagos markets but cheaper. So what are we saying?

dasparrow:

The business opportunities in Abuja are not better than what you will get in Lagos because Lagos has an even larger population than Abuja. Also, you can't just open a business anywhere in Abuja because authorities will just come and dismantle everything and chase you away. It seems like they want Abuja to be a rich man's city only with the way I see things going. I will only recommend Abuja if you have a job that pays at least 80,000 naira a month because rent, transportation costs and feeding are very expensive in Abuja. So rethink about your plan to move to Abuja carefully.

Transportation is not expensive in Abuja. It is way cheaper than Lagos. Food is also not expensive unless you eat out and the problem of accomodation can be sorted if you live outside town and frankly speaking, outside town insn't bad.

Op, with 200 k you will find a suitable self contain in Kubwa/Dawaki for 150, you might find in Dutse. The farther you go the cheaper it gets. Pls begin from those areas and gradually, work your way into town. Commuting is easy in Abuja, there is less traffic and the roads are good.

Transport is cheaper in Abuja then Lagos, you'll be suprised at it. Infact, cabs are rediculously priced low its amazing. Also, food is cheaper here than Lagos as long as you don't form big boy and shop for food stuff in farmers market or wuse market. Life is relatively calmer than Lagos . Make plans and work within it. Finally, Don't forget to come with your Ijebu garri otherwise, you'll wish you were back in Lag.

Crime / Re: Judges On The Run As Gunmen Invade Court In Anambra by raqueal(f): 12:24pm On Nov 09, 2013
I once lived in Ekwulobia and I know that there is a sars office about 3 minutes drive from Aguata Local Government. Guess they were busy doing what they do best.

The policemen attached to these courts do not carry weapons and the civil defence women there are also too fat to be of use so sars would have been the best bet but you never seem to find them when you need them.
Food / Re: How Hygienic Is Roadside Roasted Plantain: Bolé by raqueal(f): 4:47pm On Nov 07, 2013
OP, bacteria from roasting is half of it. What is transferred through their dirty hands is the rest. The sellers will handle charcoal with bare hands, touch the plantain, touch their dirty aprons/wrappers and collect money with the same hands. The money part is the most disgusting part, especially here in Abuja where the average northerner blows his nose with bare hands and scratches his crotch on top before giving you change? Nah

Your sister's husband has no right to slap or beat up especially not in your parents house. A right thinking man would have seen beyond that incident and immediately began to plan to return his family home in order to avoid a future occurrence. It was your turn today and it might be your sister's turn sometime soon.

Also, the "bro" incident should have made you draw a line not to be crossed between both of you.

The public should be spared of certain sights. As a lover of breaking and grinding bones, i buy take away so i can balance in the comfort of my home and do justice to the chicken. On days that i have to eat my meal in an eatery, i buy fish or meat. Chicken is usually my last resort.

Ensure the eba is cold and slowly savour the taste, It's heavenly. You can also try ikokore with bread and also the bottom pot or second day ikokore with garri. I have heard fufu also goes well but i haven't tried the combo before.

My mum makes Ikokore elemi mokanla grin , its the first delicacy she prepares for me whenever i go visiting followed by egusi ijebu. God bless my mother.
