This is a Dead On Arrival move from APDA while I commend the spirit of the youths of this party as championed by Tonye I think it will be foolhardy of APDA to think it can win anything in Ekiti when this party is just an extension of the rejuvenated PDP!

Politics › Obanikoro Parley: I See Asiwaju Bola Tinubu Dumping APC Before This Year Ends! by Ratello(op):
It is no longer news that the former associate of Lagos political strongman, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the person of Chief Musliu Obanikoro, a former Local Government Chairman of Etti Osa LG, commissioner under the then AD government of Tinubu has suddenly retraced his step back to his former box in the face of stiff court cases against him on his role in the DasukiGate scandal that involves billions of Naira sleaze under the ministry (Defense) Obanikoro was overseeing. It is very obvious that APC is fast losing its strong grip in the polity based on different factions within the party and the battle for the soul of Lagos (sponsor and financial headquarter of APC) towards 2019 is becoming hotter and dirtier by the day, hence, the need for more aligning, polishing, scheming, strategising and mending fences with old foes by the Jagaban himself.

Tinubu is only interested in Lagos, an empire he nurtured to personal financial till and a place he is well grounded in hence the need to secure this cherished "empire" from being taken under a badly constructed structure (APC)! It is very clear that Obanikoro recent parley with the Tinubus is linked to a future mega party that will take Lagos out of the group of "APC-Controlled States" this I know and this I can guarantee. I urge political conscious Nairalanders to bookmark this thread, save it, and watch out as the drama starts to unfold very soon. You can quite me, I said it here!

Okorocha should brace up for the tsunami about to consume him and his fellow deceivers because it is very certain that this picture is fake and only time will tell. Common sense should tell these lost clowns that a video evidence should be the ideal thing and not this clownish display of nothingness.

Lagos is very beautiful I swear, let me quote sarrki here, "Eko o ni baje" grin grin it's not good to keep celebrating mediocrity. Flooding has been a perennial problem in Lagos and this is part of what Fashola (the unfortunate rabble rousing class captain of inept Governors) said he will curb during his 2007 electioneering campaign but here we are now in 2017 and this is Lagos. cheesy blind clowns

I can tell a fake and badly presented picture when I see one. It is most certain that many Nigerian youths have been bewitched! Buhari can not continue as President this is just too glaring based on the desperation of these useless cabals. The picture is 100% unreal!

I don't know what miracle we expect to achieve in raining season when we have the poorest of drainage system in the world and then our attitude in dumping refuse anywhere and everywhere. I don't think we should be complaining at all.

Generally we should have waste bins at every 500 meters and the job of the local government is to dispose the bins daily with mini specialized equipment designed to do that job.
Please don't tell me this is part of today's rain at Okota.
Music/Radio › Re: 50 Collaborations Between Nigerian And Foreign Artistes by Ratello: 5:02pm On Jul 22, 2017
nkemdi89:
The truth of the matter is, collaborations of those days were based on inspiration and the result was always a class of masterpiece. Unlike what we have now where Nigerian and African artists pay foreign musicians heavily in order to be featured in their music without little or no interest or zeal, thereby churning out not so impressive music, but just an ego booster. Imagine when a foreign artist will just sing only few lines that has liitle impacts on the track. Music of today is just for dance and no inspiration, and with time they fade, when another set is released.
Finally I found a lady that said it all! God bless the 80s and old skool lapelle......good music died in the very early 2000s especially in 2002

Oh well, I said that's the only exception na. grin
See my sister I always respect those that witnessed the era of good music in the 80s but when I see the same people mentioning dbanj and beautiful music I see it as insult to good music. Trust me, you can't be a fan of good music in the 80s and you are mentioning crappy songs of dbanj in the same sentence naaahhhh. Dbanj sings thrash.

Orlando Julius and the Godfather of Soul, James Brown! Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!! cheesy

Whether anyone agrees with me or not, the collaborations of yesteryears had better entertainment value and quality than these ones done by our present crop of Nigerian artists.

I will make an exception for D'banj and Snoop Dogg. Their collabo is one that I admire. Unfortunately, it seems like Kanye West and his satanism swallowed up D'banj's star because when he joined them, everything went downhill for him.
Wao you got real taste in music for mentioning an icon in beautiful music and that is Orlando Julius however you spoil the whole thing mentioning D'banj vs Snoop huh Haba that's a wrong exception on your path. It is a sin to mention crappy and classless songs of D'banj and his group in the same sentence when mentioning Orlando Julius please.
