And what makes this even more unfortunate is that bleaching is a pandemic.

While I was getting a degree in theology, I had the opportunity to travel to many Asian countries, and fair skin is glorified in many of those countries, especially India and Nepal. The level of bleaching in India is staggering. I didn't know that there were dark skinned Indians until I traveled there and saw them.

There are some who are naturally fair (even if slightly fair) whose skin would be worshipped here in Nigeria, but still they want to be fairer like the stars on television.

The lightening cosmetic industry is a thriving one, so I know that banning lightening cream is never going to happen anytime soon.

Which is why I am personally banking on individuals to do the right thing, rather than waiting for society to come up with strategies (many of which are very much likely to fail).

am an investor so the only word i know is return on investment......several boys in my area travel to india to study they are all back applying for Npowers ,govt jobs ,some selling phones .....while their counterpart that went to canada and America are all working in their fields of study and getting research grants to futher into phds .......so Nigeria state should aim for Nations with good r.o.i

For the Nigeria state (may be some readers in govt are here)...the foreign exchange demand of the economy should be look into critically .....un important items must not be funded ....item like hajj operations, tourism travels , unnecessary foreign education in countries as par with Nigeria (sudan ,eypty,togo India etc)...Then local food production should be encourage....unessary food chain like kfc, shoprites ,etc should not be encourage (we can do all that )

The indians and chinese took education seriously, taking the cue from the europeans, and they are better for it today. Ours...would rather loot and squander than invest in human capital development. The NDDC is just an exame of the national picture, billions allocated with nothing tangible to show for it. 36Billion to renovate a single building, spend billions on fleet of latest models of cars and foreign trips, when our educational institutions are nothing to write home about 60 years after independence. 3. In wall shielding : ~80 % volume between the two shells of vacuum vessel is filled with borated steel (SS304B4, SS304B7) and ferritic steel for neutron shielding and reducing toroidal field ripple. Requires ~9000 blocks from 70,000 precision cut plates.

4. ITER Cooling water & Heat Rejection System :

a. 10 cells of Cooling Tower : Avg. 510 MW : Highest heat rejection capacity – Peak ~ 1.2 GW.

b. 14 Plate type Heat Exchanger: 70 MW each: Possibly at the highest range of design.

c. 6 Air cooled Chillers: 450 kW each: First, with requirement of seismic qualification for nuclear site.

5. ICRF source system :

9 RF sources : 2.5 MW at VSWR 2.0/35-65MHz/CW OR 3.0 MW at VSWR 1.5/40-55MHz/CW

6. Diagnostic neutral beam system : Detect He ash during D-T phase of ITER plasma and plasma diagnostics using 100 keV 20 A H neutral beam @ 20.7 m from the ion source. This requires extracting and accelerating 100 keV 60 A H- beam from the ion source at an extracted current density of 35 mA/cm2.
