Yes it's mindset aswell as surrounding Environment and what ppl are taught. I think melanin has nothing to do with it. Look at India they're not black n they have bad living conditions in alot of their country aswell as China and some small European countries. Also IQ depends on your passion for learning, aswell as the tools/ opportunities available to a person. Also the government of a country n what they provide and do for the citizens and determination of a person and willingness to learn things needed to be smarter in every aspect. It's not a race thing at all.
And yes environment is what ppl make it but that takes more than one person to make it that way

I for one can work on and resolve issues on redundant rack level DCS and I Still have some guys that are way better than me.Go to Nigeria brewery, Nigeria bottling company, seven up bottling company,krones, KHS, adeco, Sidel etc and see Nigerian guys that are mad gurus...you know nothing sir! ....and just so you know that I know what I'm saying, the redundant rack level DCS issues I last worked on was a siemens S7-400 master and slave PLC that had the battery run flat on both master and slave and then there was power outage causing the system fault LED , batt fault LED and the RED(redundant) fault LED to light up. Just because you haven't come across one doesn't mean they don't exist

How many Nigerians are managers in India or Lebanon. 65% of indigeneous manufacturing companies in Lagos are managed by Indians and Lebanese. Why can't they implement 50% tax deduction from their salaries to discourage them from taking positions in companies here.

India's working environment isn't exactly friendly, but data is cheap.

An average worker in the US earns more than workers in India but still India is still getting the better of it, down to the point a poor household can afford unlimited data and watch and download HDR content if they can, the US it's another story, with takeovers and ISP there trying to be monopolistic, which is what our country is copying.

You have nice ideas, however atimes you write like you don't live in Nigeria. If you did you would have included a "power plant" in that list. The major reason why manufacturing and business in general have a hard time growing is because we have to generate our own electricity. Do you have any idea how much diesel you will have to purchase to be able to power a generator used to power a manufacturing machine?

Also, you wrote "preferably from China/India" in that list. Obviously you know nothing about machinery. The Chinese, most especially, are in the habit of cloning European machinery. What they do is they visit large fairs in Europe, buy the machines and go back to their countries to clone their own. As a result, they end up producing the same machines with lower production capacity and most times they are never concerned with spare parts. I know you probably said that because their machines are cheap but in manufacturing, you can never substitute quality for cheap price.

I once had a client who insisted on purchasing machinery from China and after 2 years the machines began to develop faults. My client had to travel all the way to China to request for parts from the company only to be laughed at and told "we don't sell parts". Another client bought machines and barely a month after using the machines, one of them exploded and killed a staff.

I know you mean well but your post shows you have no practical knowledge of manufacturing and how manufacturing machines work. Please, make a deeper research before recommending Chinese and Indian machines to people before they start wasting their capital.
