oladapolif: You did not read that Nigeria declared war on young unarmed Biafra? Biafra was for dialogue and Aburi Accord would have been the panacea for a peaceful break-up but for Awolowo's treachery. The war was unfortunate. Ojukwu is a Hero forever! You cannot buy heroism with money or propaganda. He is and will always be the man after the heart of the Igbos. And for your information, Biafra will be whether now or in the future. There will surely be Biafra! One Nigeria is a mirage in the face of injustice, marginalization, quota system, born to rule mentality, inequality, gang up against a section of the country etc. One Nigeria an impossibility in the face of all these. BIAFRA LIVES!! 8 Likes |

When you do not allow people to exercise their freewill. You will lose your freedom yourself. The man should resign because he should have killed all your 'enemies'. Go and read the bible book of Esther. You may not even live to see that era when every peace-loving, hardworking, law-abiding citizens no matter their ethnicity, religion, complexion, will be truly free in Nigeria. Whether you read the Bible or nor, the event there will happen to you if you continue in this mindset. The wickedness in your heart is so huge. May God have mercy on you. |

visalo: The truth is that Nigerian leaders, be it at the local, state or federal government level are corrupt. Let nobody deceive us by saying that he has the magic wand to wipe out corruption. Let's also face it, no one of these guys telling us about corruption has the courage, moral strength and sincerity to make a difference. The present government is very corrupt. Let's face it. I wish the Nigerian military is as patriotic as the military we see elsewhere in sane societies. I would have advocated for a military take over of government and patriotically reorder the polity. But its a pity we do not have. As for the opposition as presently constituted, it is better for the present government to continue. It is very painful for me. Are you going to replace Aneneh (sorry for spelling his name badly - i mean the PDP BOD chairman) with Tinubu? Are you going to replace Alamesiah with Atiku? Are you going to replace Orji Kalu/Theordor Orji with Amechi? Are you going to ask Obasanjo to swap places with Bode George? These guys are like a half-naked FELA singing about injustice, corruption and bad government in Nigeria with wrapped indian hemp in his mouth, surrounded by naked women in a shrine. You guys are making sane people in this country get mad! I wish INEC has power to stop Jonathan, Buhari, APC and PDP from contesting and also preventing any member of these parties and their associates from joining any other party. May be the country will be better by that. |

wakacome: My brother, it is not only God that knows who a true worshiper of God. It is not only God that knows who a true servant of God. WE CAN KNOW! It is like saying only God knows who a good teacher, cleaner, driver etc. is. We are just being mentally and spiritually lazy when we make such statements. It also reveals how gullible we are as a people. There are ways of knowing who a good driver is. There are ways to know if someone who is employed to clean a place is doing it well. We can decipher if the Maths teacher is good or not. Why is it that it is only when it comes to preachers that we cannot know again. Jesus said that by their fruits we shall know them. This test is the perfect test. As for consistency, this is not the way to know if someone is true or false. NO ONE CAN BE MORE CONSISTENT THAN SATAN HIMSELF! Jesus told us that it is BY THEIR FRUITS you can know. What a person does. His activities. His way of life in secret and open. If someone is controversial, you better start shifting away from that person because it shows his lifestyle is not open. The life of a man of God supposed to be an open book that others can easily read. That is the only way they can influence others to God. Jesus said "LET YOUR LIGHT SO SHINE BEFORE MEN SO THAT THEY CAN SEE IT AND GLORIFY GOD WHO IS IN HEAVEN. If there are a lot of secrecy surrounding one's life, it shows that person is of darkness. If a man bribes journalists to cover up an action of his, that person has a questionable lifestyle. If a person cannot apologize if he has done something wrong, he is not of God. By the way, the life of a Christian/Man of God must have a definite day it started. If we cannot tell the day you repented of your sin and give your life to Jesus, YOU ARE A BIG, BIG FAKE. No man born of a man and woman can be born again in his or her mother's womb. Please help yourself by opening your eyes to be able to see if a man has the fruit of righteousness or not. STOP SINGING THE PRAISES OF AN ORDINARY MAN who is using you to become rich and famous. Please do not allow anyone frighten you by saying you should NOT speak up against a glaring wrong doing by any preacher. The only caveat there is when you know that someone by all standard is a true man of man (and like I said earlier, you can know them by the fruit their bear) and you are deliberately maligning him or her. Even at that, if you truly repent of that, God will forgive you. God will always defend His servant. The only sin that cannot be forgiven is the sin against the Holy Ghost. It is difficult for any man to commit that sin! Please free yourself and do not be deceived. The other day we hear a so called man of God put about 20 women including married women in family ways. Why can't we speak up against it. If a so called man of God is charging money before he can pray for people, why can't we say it is not right. YES WE CAN! 2 Likes 1 Share |

You are just behaving like Buhari's class teacher who assured the Nigerian Army Authorities to enlist him that he would pass in about five subjects. Was that teacher not disgraced? See different version of certificates flying all over the country today. He disappointed the teacher silly! Please, please do not go there! You are not a prophet. He disgraced is 'prophet' teacher and he would have disappointed you if he had been allowed a minute more time than he had. We cannot do what the Army Authorities did in 1961. adexway: thinking that Buhari will ever prosecute anybody at all especially the Northerners, is day-dreaming. These guys are actually the ones routing for his presidency. It is corrupt Nigerians like Tinubu that are campaigning for him. Check out his antecedents: 1. Put Shagari who he overthrown as a corrupt politician under house arrest 2. Put Lateef Jakande, an honest governor of lagos, who he cancelled his laudable metroline project, in jail 3. Allowed his inlaw to smuggle 53 suitcases of local and foreign currency but jailed Fela Kuti for being in possession of a few genuine currencies 4. Made a retroactive law that killed southern youths but allowed Idiagbon (Kwara, North) to take an under aged boy to Mecca 5. Built good roads, schools and hospital with PTF funds while neglecting roads, schools and hospitals in the south 6. Supported the promotion of Sharia but fought to destroy Biafra 7. Wants a northerner like himself to be president but do not want a southerner like unlce Jona to be Nigerian President |

tpacalipse: The issue for me is not who wins the election. It is a matter of integrity. I want us to pause and consider the following: 1. Is this certificate that rolled out as soon as he finished his press conference trustworthy? 2. Can we sincerely say we are satisfied with this General's conduct? 3. Is he the real change Nigeria needs? 4. Is he as transparent as we are being made to believe? 5. If he is not qualified to run, should he run by all means? 6. Can he be trusted with good judgment if he occupies that high office? 7. Will merit and hard-work thrive? 8. Will the education sector fare well? 9. Can he cope with the demands of the office at 73? 10. Can we get the best from him at that age? 1 Like 1 Share |

All you needed was to be able to read and write and you are qualified to run. Why on earth did you say you have the WASC you are now sweating to produce? Why did you not ask your school to provide you with this statement of result when you were filling the presidential nomination form? chigo93: Chigo, please let us always ensure that whatever we put out to the public is well researched and in deed the truth. Moses was educated. the Bible Book of Acts Chapter 7 verses 22 says: "Moses was educated in all the learning of the Egyptians, and he was a man of power in words and deeds". Anybody seeking to lead an intelligent people must not be a dullard please! Buhari and the APC is obviously playing with the intelligence of over 150 million Nigerians! He/They had the opportunity to present the qualification he has or its equivalent but he chose to tell us what he does not have. Anyone who truly has a certificate will not sweat like this to produce it. Does not know the value of a heard-earned certificate and do not value such. If he is thrust into the office of the president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, how is he going to be able to understand what merit means? How will the education sector fare under him? how will he encourage hard work? He should simply step down and save us the impending crisis. 2 Likes |

wazobiaman: So why did he lie that he has a WASC? If he is aware of all these conditions, are you not worried that he wanted to fraudulently present himself as having the certificate he does not have in order to achieve his ambition of being Nigerian Democratic President? Is this a sign of a man of integrity? Can he honestly promote anti-corruption as he has made us believe with this type of scandal? Why did he not simply present the certificate he has relying on these other provisions of INEC and allow Nigerians to decide instead of getting enmeshed in this type of controversy? This is definitely NOT the type of CHANGE we want! 3 Likes 1 Share |

Ceasar1: In deed, marriage does not kill love. It actually nurtures it. What happens is that most marriages entered into ignorantly invariably frustrates the couples and kills their 'love'. Marriage founded on love outlasts the couple. A lot of people think they are in love when in reality, they are very, very far away from love. What many people call love is actually feelings/affection/infatuation/beauty/good dressing/comfort/intimacy/wealth etc. Some of these things are actually found in love but they in themselves are not love. Love is tangible. Love is measurable. Love is action. Love is choice. Love is decision. Love is patience. Love is Kindness. Love is unity/peace. Love is endurance. Love is sacrifice, etc. Love hardly fails! Love is the pillar of marriage. You cannot first build a house before adding its pillars. You add the pillars before being assured of a strong, safe and reliable place of abode. Yes, sometimes, a house founded on strong pillars collapses. This is sometimes because the builders are not experienced, building with absent-mindedness, did not check well the soil on which the strong pillars are put, the pillars are not well fortified with quality materials etc. These things happen but it is one in a million! But houses that collapsed as a result of lack of pillars are rampant. ................................. ................................ CoCoLav: We are saying the same thing then. What I am saying is before you say I do to any man/woman, be sure that: 1. You have mutual respect for each other - for each other's body too (this does not come in one day) 2. You tolerate each other (this also will mean unconditional acceptance) this also is not a day's job 3. You trust each other (this come with test, remember) not a day's job 4. You reach some understanding (concerning money, job, children, inlaws, conduct, dressing etc) not a day's job 5. You are pooling resources together to make the relationship work (infatuation does not have this patience) 6. You share affection/attraction (You must be proud to associate/be with each other - not one person in front the other behind) takes time too 7. You are ready to defend each other with your life (this is one of the major test of love) 8. You are willing and able to support him/her in weakness/sickness/setbacks/misfortunes etc. 9. You are willing to share your resources (money, power, favour, privilege, talents, etc) this takes a lot of time. 10. You are ready/willing/able to be in subjection to a man (in case of a woman) 11. You are ready/willing/able to love, protect, provide for a woman (in case of a man) 12. You are ready to remain faithful to each other for life 13. You are ready to live together and nurture the union for life Love in marriage is not a 100 meters dash. It is a capsule filled with all these and more. It is not that "I feel good" feeling. Love is not feeling at all. There are feelings in love but it is not feeling. There are different kinds of love. I am writing about marriage love here please. So before you tell a man/woman that you love him/her (in the marriage sense) be sure to have thought on these and many more. These lend credence to the fact that love must be the bane of marriage and must also come BEFORE its consummation, not the other way round. 2 Likes |

magmama: Love can come after marriage when you realise that the person is not bad as much as you felt afteral. Marriage is all about understanding, tolerance, respect. I have just few questions for you please: 1. WHAT IF IT COMMUNICATION BREAKS DOWN? 2. WHAT IF ANY OF THE COUPLES EXHITS INTOLERANCE, MISUNDERSTANDING, DISRESPECT? 3. WHAT HAPPENS PLEASE ![]() |

CoCoLav: Do not let musicians fool you. Love is not in the 'air'. Love is like music produced by an orchestra. It is a combination and cohesion of actions and events. When someone visits a sick person in a hospital, it is an act of love. It is also love. But love is not only visiting people in the hospital. Love is not feelings. Love has feelings but not feelings. If anyone leaves these things until marriage is consummated, it is not a wise decision! They might get it right later, just like a dead clock is right only but twice. But many, many more people will be trapped in marriage thereby giving the wrong impression to the unmarried about the marriage life that is supposed to be 'heaven on earth'. All these stuff I listed, to me, is love that is not BLIND - Shine your Eye o. |
