It was clearly obvious the "analyst" didn't understand the contents of the headlines he presented in his piece. How can any sane mind blame PMB for our Q2 economic performance? Just plain old cluelessness from the eternal wailers. Kudos P/Shot. |
This is quite impressive, an over 100% drop in cost of subsidy between when we were rescued from GEJ and now. The target is to fully develop local capacity and stop importation, so PMB and his team should not rest on their oars. Kudos. |
sarutobie:I will ignore your juvenile invectives. Tell me the difference between an 'almajiri' school and a regular primary school. |
biafranqueen:You are preaching to the choir. As at today, Hausa-Fulani is an ethnic group, our strength is in our unity. |
biafranqueen:Nah I felt empathy for you. If you have to be told that Jonathan's touting of those almajiri schools as an achievement accelerated his downfall then it would be completely futile to continue in this discourse. Using it as a campaign point is one of the most clueless decisions he ever made. Just imagine if at the end of Buhari's tenure he campaigns that his contribution to the south east was establishing baby factory victim rehab centers...it takes extra effort to be that dumb. P.S. It is Hausa-Fulani, not Hausa vs Fulani + BH are Kanuri so I wonder what you've been on about. I'm sure you see why your post lacked substance and was accordingly crossed out. |

biafranqueen:Thank you. Of course GEJ took the East for granted considering the myopic and clearly irrational support he received from those parts regardless of his failures. Anyway whatever GEJ did or did not do at this moment is immaterial, irrelevant and inconsequential at this time because he has been defeated and is now relegated to the history books. The lack of potable water in Otuoke today underlines his legacy. |
biafranqueen:C'mon let's not reduce the level of this discourse. Ten additional minerals were found bringing the total to 44. It's either you're trying to be cunny or you need to study the links you provide. |
biafranqueen:What you offered was a mid term report of the solid minerals sector, and there's no where 41 minerals were found in the North in the last 4 years. Our minerals have been profiled for decades and only marginal discoveries of less than a dozen industrial minerals have been made since then. The introduction of the report clearly states 'Nigeria is endowed with a variety of solid minerals' which implies their previous existence and profiling. Jonathan did NOT discover any 41 minerals in the North in the last 4 years. |
biafranqueen:We are patiently waiting for the proof of the '41 minerals discovered by Jonathan' in the North in the past 4 years. |
MuhdG:This one rings many bells ![]() |

WombRaiders:It's a shame that any points you tried to make were buried by your baseless conjectures, unwarranted invectives and futile attempt to absolve the corrupt and incompetent GEJ administration of blame despite propagating a mono-economy. |
The EFCC has gone from a paper tiger under GEJ to a roaring lion under President Buhari. You can only imagine the damage all of these laundering and other unwholesome practices have been doing to the Naira over the years, yet some wailers will heap all the economic repercussions on the new administration. Thank heavens the EFCC is back on its feet once more. The fish surely rots from the head. |
For the umpteenth time - nobody cares where the appointees come from unless it's a constitutional violation which PMB confirmed is not the case. |
These ripples should not come as a surprise considering the shaky and heavily dollarized economy inherited by this administration. It's quite significant that Emefiele's recent policies such as restrictions on forex transactions that facilitate money laundering, have been focused on protecting the Naira which lies at the heart of this issue. The expulsion will be in October so it is anticipated that the new Minister of finance to be appointed within a couple of weeks, hits the ground running and institutes an appropriate fiscal policy to stem this tide. |
Being a Progressive is not a label but a characteristic, one which is plenty in the APC from El-Rufai to Tambuwal to Fashola. If El-Rufai is not presidential material...what is? |
The immature dolts don't want a smiling reminder of their failures on March 28th. As far as their nonsense is restricted to their secretariat of failure, they can hang Anini's picture for all we care. |
Poise, Carriage, Class. The President with the spirit of a leader and the swagger of a college kid. May God guide and protect you to deliver on our desperate mandate. Sai baba. |
These people should allow this investigation to be conducted, the irony is that they do not actually benefit from these militants and they would be the ones to benefit when monies appropriated for the region are not caught up in fraudulent companies owned by questionable characters. |
El-Rufai and Tambuwal are proving to be excellent progressives deserving of their mandate. |
Interesting and thought provoking. However, It is important that the probes must be systematic and conform to due processes, otherwise they would be too laborious, time consuming, irregular and dangerously opaque. PMB just two weeks ago on August the 25th, gave a scope for the first phase of the investigations by inaugurating a probe panel to examine arms procurements since 2007. http://www.vanguardngr.com/2015/08/fg-names-13-man-panel-to-probe-yaradua-jonathan/ The findings of the panel will inform the next action therefore it's safe for now to say the war against corruption is on track. |
johnserek:How can you call a region that produces the grains, milk, meat, vegetables and food in general that you depend on for your daily survival, and is filled with numerous solid minerals a 'desert region that offers nothing'? Now I see the point your opponents have been making. If you had presented your case with sincerity, probably your message will be given the value you desire, however your current approach betrays a dishonest agenda. |
When corruption fights back... |
This underlines the insincerity of the SE in their cries of marginalization in all fairness. This response wouldn't have been necessary if not for the immature, dishonest and hypocritical bickering of some dubious elements out to overheat the polity for their selfish gain. |
chukwudi44:What is this man talking about? Please take your delusion elsewhere, I'm not your type. |
chukwudi44:'Rawani' means CROWN or turban in Hausa. Enjoy your service. |
They should have used the blood-sucker as a suicide bomb against BH. |
chukwudi44:Please listen to the Sermon and practice what is preached, remember the golden commandment - love your neighbor as thyself. No more Buhari or Hausa or Yoruba hatred. |
I doubt the veracity of that list. |
Though his reinstatement is quite questionable, the important thing is that he was immediately retired. The question is, for someone like Biu that was indicted of such a serious crime of terror over 2 years ago, why didn't the past Goodluck administration prosecute and jail him? |
