PoliticsRe: Cult Groups, Fulani Herdsmen Kill 761 In Seven Months by Rawani: 6:13am On Aug 15, 2015
It's becoming quite clear these herdsmen are criminal cattle rustlers and murderers masquerading as Fulani nomads. The issue is we cannot decisively deal with this challenge when their identities are misrepresented.

Since when did people seeking arable land for their herd to feed, start carrying AK47's? Are the bullets delivered to their constantly moving cows or do they buy the bullets when going to fetch water for their livestock?

How can you fight who you do not even know?

PoliticsRe: PDP Begs As Members Plan Defection Today by Rawani: 5:54am On Aug 15, 2015
All of this under GEJ's nose. It is shameful that an immediate ex-president and party leader lacks the authority, influence and competence protect the party from being dumped so disgracefully in his own State. Thank goodness we are sure he left the villa with his cluelessness.

However the PDP is gradually going extinct, which is not good for our democracy. It is hoped other parties will take advantage of this vacuum in the opposition to keep PMB on his toes.
PoliticsRe: Imperialist America: Propagating The Global Jihad: Nigerian Campaign by Rawani: 9:51pm On Aug 14, 2015
I'm afraid you're right OP. America is an anarchist nation which thrives on deceit and plain devilry.

Without terror, the dollar is indirectly threatened by the economic activities of stable and resource-soaked nations.

Nigeria is truly sitting on a keg of gunpowder. Our strategic position continentally has put the bulls-eye on us, however chances are that America will self-destruct before its evil agenda for Nigeria unravels.

PoliticsRe: PDP Lists Jonathan's Projects Buhari Is Trying To Take Glory For (SEE LIST) by Rawani:
This is an insult to the sensibilities of Nigerians.

1. What is the use of ten thousand armoured tanks when they are parked in a garage thousands of kilometers away from BH?

2. Of what use are refinery repairs when the same government starves them of crude oil to function, so they can keep looting through importation?

3. There's no need grasping at straws; we are not yet certified polio free. Nigeria will only be certified so by the World Health Organisation (WHO) in 2017, provided it maintains its zero case status.

What a tank of hogwash, no wonder Metuh was kicked out from the PDP earlier today.

All I know the white men choose who will do their bidding. ..they are only interested in a African resources, majorly oil and gold....I watched the documentart last night in Aljazira. They white men said so themselves. ...they don't care about who life or die....they interested in resources and give power to whoever can do what they wanted.....I know you are a Northerner...it's understandable when you play or form the ostrich. ...
I know exactly what you are saying. It's quite true and I've been aware of this fact. However it's not just an attribute of the white man, but every capitalist human being on earth. Do you really think Dangote is taking over sectors of the economy of other African countries without influencing their government?

You need to watch what I watch in Aljazira last night...
It was documentary on how France uses Elf to destroy African countries. ...from Benin republic to Algeria, even Angola. ....the white man gave power to those they can control for African resources ....they caused war on Gabon and other countries and watch people die...they did a lot of evil and enthroned evil leaders on africa
And you think if they wanted control through manipulation they wouldn't go for the most greedy Nigerians?

The system of administration the British met in the North was compatible with their own administrative system, that was the primary reason they chose northerners and established BBC Hausa to further enlighten them and make them even more politically adept. Voice Of America Hausa service was also subsequently established by the Americans and their Hausa partners.

Well I know all these all along cos the North is where we live.
But the real truth, I mean the real hidden truth is the Ideology of Islam. With the mindset of hate, conquests, killing/jihad and above all seize spoils of war all engraved deeply in Islam against the infidels or non-muslims, what u get is what Nigeria is today!

Dominate at all cost. Even manipulate to favour the side of Allah. When there are resources to gain from south.
And the North lacks resources?

...and coincidentally, the Harold Smith subscribed to the already held prejudices and desires of the writer. The easterners were already selling their kinsmen to the Britons as slaves before 1914 so if they needed silly and submissive people, they didn't have to look far.

Akpabio should realize that Nigerians have outgrown the PDP's style of politics; never again shall we tolerate governance by impunity, looting and lawlessness.

Nigerians will collectively resist every effort he makes to rob us of the change we worked for.

The numbers below are in $ Billion. We have the resources, we need to develop the capacity.

See what a focused leadership with pinpoint policy direction can do.

PoliticsRe: Nigeria Can Generate $256 Billion from Agriculture By 2030 by Rawani(op): 12:17pm On Aug 13, 2015
Nigeria can literally survive on agriculture and revenue from solid minerals if we aggressively pursue the effective diversification of our economy.
PoliticsNigeria Can Generate $256 Billion from Agriculture By 2030 by Rawani(op):
Nigeria Can Generate $256 Billion from Agriculture By 2030

This growth potential could be achieved from increasing crop yields to 80-100 per cent of international benchmarks, cultivating 14million hectares of new agricultural land (approximately 38 per cent of Nigeria’s unused available land of 36.9m hectares) and shift 20 per cent of production to higher value agricultural produce.

Professor Agbato of Landmark University, laments that Nigeria, despite its enormous potential in agriculture, had chosen to neglect the sector, and failed to tap the huge opportunities to grow and expand its economy and reduce reliance on oil earnings.
He said this while delivering the second convocation lecture of the Landmark University, Omu Aran, Kwara State, entitled, “Inclusive Agriculture: A Catalytic Trigger for Non-Oil Dependent Economy.”

The lecturer highlighted the current yields of some crops in Nigeria as against international benchmark. For maize, 1.5 tons per hectare against 7-8 tons; groundnut - 400kg per hectare against 2.700kg in Turkey; onions - 4 metric tons per hectare against 120 tons in Yemen; tomatoes - 5tons per hectare against 100tons in Israel; rice - 1.5tons per hectare against 20 tons in Thailand.

He added that the country’s milk yield from cattle was 300 litres per lactation as against 10,000 litres of international benchmark.
Agbato emphasized that Nigeria had a huge strength and potentials, having the most fertile land in the world, 79m hectares of agricultural land of which 40m is arable, regretting that over 40 per cent of arable land remains uncultivated.

He observed that some developing nations, which shared similar antecedents with Nigeria, had deployed interventions in the agricultural sector to reduce poverty and enhance economic growth.

PoliticsRe: Nigerian States And What They Produce by Rawani: 9:45pm On Aug 12, 2015
Nice.

This is why Agriculture must be aggressively developed in this country. The revenue potential is beyond what oil currently offers us, especially considering its falling value, availability of shale, and the increasingly hostile competitive market.

President Buhari's plan to effectively diversify our mono-economy should be implemented in an accelerated manner. The huge deposits of solid minerals, added to revenue from agriculture will go a long way to buffer our departure from our helpless reliance on crude oil.

How exactly does the identity of those prosecuted matter in the war against corruption? It should not even be a matter of contention among any persons that possess integrity that ANYONE who is duly investigated and indicted for corruption, should be prosecuted and punished for their crimes.

All the rhetoric about PMB going after a set of people, are nothing but a load of unneeded sentiments.

PoliticsRe: I Didn’t Know Corruption Was This Much Under Me- Former Pres, Goodluck Jonathan by Rawani:
Yet some people thought he was called clueless for no reason. When we were told he was helpless against the bottle, we never imagined the effects it would have on us.

This was a President that did not know an Ambassador was withdrawn from under him till after a whole week, for a call he didn't know he had made...It took our dear Soyinka to inform him that his aides had faked his call.

Don't be fooled for a minute with this pretence, Jonathan was too distracted by his own wanton looting to begin fighting corruption, that is the truth. He knew what was happening, he just didn't think he would have to account for it; PDP was supposed to rule for 60 years remember?

How can a man who sacked Sanusi for revealing corruption, now claim he was unaware of it?

Thank God we were saved from another four years of avoidable cluelessness and gross incompetence.
