Family › Re: Is It Right For A Lady To Live Alone? by Raychee(f): 1:05am On Jan 16, 2021 |
Staying alone is not easy though. Renting the house for herself might not be the problem but subsequent maintenance is. So she should just be stable financially. Then security is another problem. She shouldn't invite male folks over and even females should be limited. Keep her doors locked at all times. I understand staying with so many people in a limited space can be very frustrating and annoying especially if you like privacy and quiet. Some parents even mess up their children's mental health. But the motive for moving out better not be sinister . |

Nawa o. What works for Titi will not necessarily work for the Tife. Let everyone do whatever they they think is best for themselves. Some people who relocated are doing amazingly well just like we have extremely successful people here in Nigeria. It's not that difficult. All these shades and insults are uncalled for. In the end you would be left alone with the results of your decision so nobody should be making or trying to make them for you. DO YOU!! |

CalliDora1: Why would you even marry a woman you don't trust well enough in the first place?
It serves you guys right because when they say marry in the Lord, you'll laugh yourselves to scorn now you're all running Helter skelter like headless chickens looking for DNA that is not lost.
I want big boobs, I want big bumbum, I want beautiful face. At the last, no peace of mind as every man wants her too.
Marry the will of God and have some peace.

Ever since i saw the video of those uniport(I'm not entirely sure if it's uniport) students burnt alive years back ( they were discovered to be falsely accused), it replays in my head everytime i see something about jungle justice. It was very horrible. I wonder what sane human being would torch a fellow human and watch them suffer to death. Psycopaths and mad people dwelling amongst us. |

They can fish out majority of the people involved in this barbaric act but they will not. It's only to kill people for 100naira they can do. This is not the first and would not be the last until we have scape goats. I'm pretty sure these things happen majorly because they don't trust the NPF with criminals since they can easily bribe their way out. That still doesn't justify being a murderer |

It's ridiculous to be given a least to a young man just starting life.
Our elders are not helping matters. Next thing is just to have oyinbo type wedding . No traditional wedding or introduction party. Just say vows and go to reception to drink cocktail |
Culture › Re: The Misconception About Igbo Bride Prices by Raychee(f): 10:40am On Dec 09, 2020 |
I think they mean the entire demand not just the "bride price". Most families demand very low amount for bride price and some will return it back after collecting. But the list is generally what people are referring to. It is usually outrageous to be honest. |
