On my way to Obalende this morning, these was a shortage of commercial vehicles that usual, so the 911 grin i boarded was so full there was hardly any space to put one's foot. people were sleeping while standing! without even getting to work they were already tired!!! And to make matters worse some Oyinbos in an AC toyota hiace brought out digital cameras to take shots! like they will do in a zoo. They were astonished!!!! I wonder what they thought, God punish our irresponsible leaders

So pathetic! Can u imagine? It's a pity what the masses are going through in this country. God Help us and give us leaders after His heart. But then it all starts with each one of us choosing to stand up for Righteousness.

@ow11, faketan,D-Chair, Maxidoe

I just dey your side o. You guys culdnt say it better.

To further stress the integrity of Nigerians (not every1 is corrupt and would do EENYTHING FOR MONEY), I happen to be related 'somehow' to one of these people who are in question here (u guys have already mentioned his name too many times amongst the 5 ). I have distanced my self from that vicinity cos I am not pleased with his actions, present and past. Please get it that I do have easy access since i'm kind of family. However, I wouldn't want to receive favors from such quarters and definitely don't want to be a bootlicker.Gosh! HOW AWFUL! huh huh. I couldnt live with ma conscience.
Nigeria is too PRECIOUS to me. ALL 4 NIGERIA STAND UP. We can make it in Righteousness.

FamilyRe: Are You The First Born In Your Family? by realdemi(f): 5:03pm On Nov 20, 2007
@Kayhell
My dear, jkpretty just told u the reason why your seniors seem to have less I.Q. than yourself. Juniors ALWAYS ALWAYS learn from the mistakes of the ones ahead of them. Some younger ones like yourself are so smart from the 1st day they reach planet earth that they begin to learn from day1 and often, it's from their siblings.

First borns have no one to look up to, no example to follow except their parents who are not exactly in their age group. I'm a first born so i know what I'm saying and funny, I've studied First borns for a while now.

Lucky though, my parents don't expect too much from me. But I know responsibility is another way of spelling first born.
TV/MoviesRe: NBC Bans Airing Of Big Brother Africa (BBA) In Nigeria! by realdemi(f): 4:15pm On Nov 20, 2007
RIGHT! RIGHT!! RIGHT!!!

When are we going to REEEALLY know our right from our left?
It's good to go back to the Stone Ages where we make the Privates public and Nubian beauties walk the street in their Birthday suits but I'm almost (almost o) sure that even in that crude state, copulation was done hiddenly.

I'm with Kobojunkie on all this, if any station wishes to broadcast pornography, they should have a special license to it and let those who want to watch it do so.

Big Brother Africa had no aim whatsoever and if what went down was not Porn plus more,texapete, what was it?? and the producers were damn smart to have made the inmates, sorry, roommates to sign that they would not be sued, no matter what happened in the 89 days' period. That's your Right at work, innit? grin

Senators might have hidden agenda or not but whatever, Right is being propagated.

Slitty, you were a bit too sensually graphic for my 'personal' liking. It seems like a Journal because you were constantly talking to yourself, forward and back. Your diction is good but you mixed up your tenses in some parts. Your opening lines particularly seem weak in this respect. Check this out:

I [s][/s]could remember that day like it just happened (yesterday), but no, that was about two years ago. I had just gotten a new job that took me away from home and there I was in the bedroom of the apartment that the Corporation had given me.
I worked as  a statistical analyst in geography, boring as it might sem to you, I enjoyed the work. I was good at it  especially since I did a lot of travelling.

The apartment was a two-bedroom with everything, and u can go on!

It's a good work on the whole cos you flowed naturally and you were quite comprehensive and comprehensible. Keep it up!
Is that the end of the story?

She would forever live to regret that action if she aborts the baby.
1. She is rightfully and lawfully married
2. HER own Husbaband impregnated her
3. Her husband is willing to take on the baby
4. The baby is God's gift to her hence,,
5. She has no right taking the life of another (it's called MURDER) whether she feels like it is not the issue
6. The baby is an additional blessing to her 25th Anniversary (They have been very fruitful , 6, no 7 children)
7. As long as the pregnancy poses no risk to her life, and she's certified fit by doctors, no hassle

My mother gave birth to our last born at age 42 and I was just entering the University then. He was unexpected as well but believe it or not, He is about the brightest in the family. So smart and intelligent. He's a genius!
She should not care what people will say.

God is fighting the battle HImself. Anyone that will be on the side of injustice should be ready for the consequences. The late Honourable should serve as a warning to anyone that will not let Nigeria rest. Even Madam Speaker should be careful or she might be the next to drop dead. ;DThe cries of the massses have reached the ears of God Almighty and He will not be silent. Let 'She' step aside for the case to be judged. We know the Powers that be are behind her that's y  she's so

@RuDdie
It's nothing chauvinistic. Matters might not have aggravated to this extent if she and her party had handled things differently. It's true that not all or even any of the reps might have the moral justification to cast the first stone but whenever anyone is caught, he/she should not be let off the hook.  Like we dey talk am for Naija, Na who dem catch be thief. so let it be!!
She has almost convinced us that she is guilty of a case that is not yet judged.If she isn't afraid of anything(like skeletons), let her allow us check the wardrobes.

was in fggc, oyo.

I was a good girl most of the time. but i remember avoiding Morning assembly especially in S.S3. but there was this day I got caught with some classmates. we ran to d bush in the bid to avoid getting caught not knowing that d whole area had been surrounded. Later after getting caught and serving our punishments, my fellow culprits said i ran like a cheetah, and I used to be so gentle in class wink and i dint even know i culd run that fast grin

On another occassion, i was very hungry. In the dormitory, i stumbled upon a bottle of "Tree Top" thinking it was orange juice that was in it, I quickly took a sip only to find out dat it was  shocked grrrrr. , Izal germicide (colored), spat it out immediately!!!!.

One day, a junior gal slept beside me and peed on the bed but in the middle of the nite, she woke up and left me to sleep alone on the bed to go and sleep somewhere else. When we woke up in d morn, every kept saying I was the one dat bedwetted. no matter what i said and d silly girl was there!!

D joke was all on me,

real sorry about dat. don't worry, u'll heal with tym. Nothing is truly as bad as it seems when it 1st happened. It all fizzles with time. U made a GREAT decision. No body is gong to live with him but u when u guys get married. U reserve d sole choice to choose d best for u. And sista, u deserve the best. If u can't handle his flaws (womanizing) NOW,u never will be able to. Dat's authentic. Guys rarely change.
All parties involved will come round. Just keep ur head upa nd be nice to them,

Bro, we have to keep saying it like it's easy so that poster can realize that it's possible because when one is (blindly)in love, as the case is here,  it's always easier to wish away the hurt than face the hurt and damn the consequences. It's hard but it is possible.IMPOSSIBILITY ONLY EXISTS in the dictionary of fools.

@ Poster
Many times, when u find a lady dying over a guy even when it seems or it's obvious the guy doesn't give a hoot about what happens to her, there are three basic reasons for such:

1.    She doesn't value herself enough to expect being treated with dignity and respect that is due to her as a human being and as a WOMAN. she has a low self esteem. She will take any s***t from any man. Give your self value. U are God's WONDER- FULL creation. Only the best deserve u.

2.     She thinks there is no guy as good as this one. Where am I going to get a guy as good as this guy?. A lie from the pit of HELL!!!

3.      I have gone too far with this guy, there's no turning back. Xcuse me?? huh

In any relationship, mutual respect is core. Sista, that guy has nothing to do with ur life. 5 years down the line, when u bump into him, u'll be glad u took leave of him. Trust me, i speak from experience. I've gone through it and i'm all the better for it today.
Bidy:
Girl, It shouldnt have taken you this long. " No guy is worth you tears, a guy that's worth it wont even make you cry". You have to love with all your senses wide awake. He doesnt even respect you, if he does he wont be calling his girlfriend when you are with him (what are u doing with him when he told you he has a girlfriend anyway). So get up girl, and move on, don't forget to pick up the lessons you learnt in this along with you so you don't fall into this kind of mess anymore. Goodluck.

Music/RadioRe: Maltina Dance Hall by realdemi(f): 2:27pm On Sep 17, 2007
@poster
The concept is okay. Truth is we all have different passions in life. And for some people, it's DANCE so why not help them find fulfillment like every other reality tries to do as in BBA, GUS for Acting, Modelling, Enterpreneurship (Bank PHB's Intern) etc. Everybody wants to shine as a  star especially through their passions.

Maltina does not neccessarily have to donate to charity. I'm sure they do that already in some form or the other.

However, the judges are sooooooooo partial. I guess everybody knows that . Watched about 2/3 episodes and i couldnt help but notice that once they favored a particular person, it was hard to let go.Favouritismhuhhuhhuh?? no matter what any other person did.

And WHO are the judges?? Never seen or heard of 'em b4 now. guess a judge should be a 'pro' of some sort. innit? huh

Think the presenter is okay, sha!
RomanceRe: My Ex Wants To Have Lunch And A Talk! by realdemi(f): 2:48pm On Sep 13, 2007
Sweetheart, the key here is 'residual feelings'. U've still got it. and u've got to face it. Your ex knows that and most likely he knows you very well too.

Honey, he has nothing to tell u after 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 calendar months (not days!!!!!!!!), other than 'Let's begin again'. If he's the humble type, he'll add 'Forgive me' (some men can be soooo proud they want u to think it's a priviledge dating them).
After 9 solid months of silence, huh huh and a cold exit angry

It's up to you to decide if u want to stay with your present guy or go back to the other guy. Don't get too emotional, whatever u do. emotions are always on the motion/ on the move, so u've got know what u want in life and get it, without sentiments.

If u aren't considering taking him back, DO NOT, i repeat DO NOT see him for any reason whatsoever. Let him tell u the inferno that is bringing down his house over the phone. Your help:call the fire service over the phone to put out the fire at his end or have u now become a fire fighter? Girl, wise up!! If he needs financial help, if u feel generous enough send him money by all means.Thank God for ebanking. whatever it is if u are not thinking of going back to him, he should speak with u on phone.chikena!

People must always remember this, If u have to shut the door, please shut it gently. U never can tell if u have to pass through that door again. Relationships don't work out all the time but doesn't mean we should become enemies.
@leighcon
If he had thot of her feelings and wellbeing he would have extended his arm of friendship in those 9 silent months.If u cross some bridges, u will not like where u find urself afterwards.

Now, i get the picture. This is real yukky (makes face of disgust!!!). what's wit the vag*** and all. this is emotionally traumatic. she should feel really really bad sad cos i would. NO ONE should be allowed to go through such an experience especially women cos we are more emotional.

A loving confrontaion should start, not do(note my choice of words) the work. It's hard to change anybody's mind especially when they think they are saving the world as in the hubby pities ex becos of smelly vag***
linapeace:
that he is justing pitying her because no man will want to stay longer with her because her vaginal is always dirty and it smells. but the most annoying part is he still have contact with his ex which the woman involved don#t appreciate.
Still she needs patience and perseverance.  This poster might just be PASSING THROUGH, it doesn't call for divorce. It might just be a phase thath needs just the right wisdom to successfully get to the other side. I know it might be real painful now but if she holds on she will smile again. She certainly needs LOADS of prayers, the next key thing to do.
Every marriage has its upheavals every now and then and statistics say its always critical inthe first 5years then 10. after that, ceteris paribus they sail through.
I rest my case for now.
