Work experience of about three (3) years - 2020-2023. Store manager in the hospitality industry, mostly shortlet homes.

Please, what chances does this person have for a regular F1 application? B.Sc./Community college

No, the school will not send I-20 without proof of funds.

The proof of funds is what the school will use in filling out the funding details on your I-20.

Just use GTB online. It doesn't matter that there is a public holiday. The platforms are functional. Automated 24/7.

I got an appointment for Aug 15 through the group. I had seen Sep 21st on my own. But my school resumes August 30, so I waited. Luckily, later in the day, someone posted on the group chat that Aug 15 was open. I rushed to the site and booked. Such a relief!

Nigerian schools charge that much to send transcripts abroad. My school charged 30K. You have to factor in the cost of courier service provider (usually DHL) that the school will use in sending the transcript abroad.

Hello TEMITOPE and other gurus.

Please, it has been a over a week that I submitted the interview date application on the CGI portal, and got the response that I would receive an email once my application is approved.

I am yet to receive the email. Should I reach out to them or still wait. BleBLe said she applied on Thursday and received the approval email on Friday. This gives me cause for concern. Please, I would appreciate your advice accordingly.

I don't think it can be done through WU in Lagos or Nigeria for that matter. Most people get someone in the US to pay for them. I did mine that way too.
However, it seems there is an online platform that some people us e for that purpose. I can't remember the one though, maybe someone else can help with it.

No, submitting DS-160 or not does not affect your interview date selection. You just have to submit the DS-160 at least 72hours before you go for your interview

I thought we were told tithing keep problems like this far from us. why should a 'tihter' be in debt? If he is in debt then it is obvious the tithing isnt working and should go ahead and pay off his debt by whatever means he deems fit.

From Egbeda, you should be able to get Ketu-Ojota bus. Drop at Ojota then ask for where u will board a bus or take a cab to Ogudu. It's just a stone throw from where the bus will drop you.
