I have investment on tb and I know that it's important to invest but at the same time life should be lived to the fullest. If I earn 3 to 5million per week I wouldn't mind blowing away 250k in a night as long as it is done once in a long time. I believe in calculated and wise spending but my dear the end result of money is not just for the money itself, the end result should be for good living, making oneself happy and having all the other good thing that money can buy.

seeing the money growing up gives me the maximum happiness.

I even stopped my swimming hobby just to keep that 1k and add to mmf and Tbills.

D*MN! My account used to show negative (900#) once upon a time... And I used to be angry!

But today.. I empty my account into mmf and smile when I have no money to spend.

anyway from my bedsheet FBNH fairprice is N9 , FLOURMIL is N10 base on Q2 and Q1 respectively

mind u things may change for the best or worse from d remain quarterly report of the year.

i notice flourmil cash is improving.... it a plus and if they can maintain or add more positive effort to this Q1 report thru out d year then we are looking at N40 fairprice by next year F/S

for FBNH though they have same PE with zenith but the ROE and solvency ratio too low compare with zenith but if everything comes out well without much impairment report at year end we are looking at N18 fairprice

na my own opinion price may not even near those prices,, Mkt opinion differ.

Given the current trend in the Tbills market and the local and global economy,

I have decided to take to investing in 91days or less tenors.

Apart from the possibility of higher yields in the near future,
I also choose to adapt this strategy because as you all know;

My portfolio is below 500k and I want to steadily add to it quarterly.

This way, I will be keeping the small interests in MMF account and
add to it till the next Tbills investment date.
Then add all to tbills, till it reaches 1M when it can then automatically rollover and invest interests for compound interest effect.


Also, I will avoid having multiple 100k Tbills which I have to wait 360+ days to add to.

I hope this strategy works better than the long haul strategy...

The only situation where you can be served well by your bank is if you always go for their bid. Before I ported, GTB was so mean to the extent that nobody will respond to my enquiry even if my rate is below CBN rate. This is because, Bank made little or no money from TB. However, after a failed bid, you will have yo wait for another 14 days. This was what I experienced for two months with no explanation nor call from my bank.

One day, I stumble upon I-Invest and I did a diligent research for three hours on it. I found it genuine cos their rates are at par with CBN. With I invest, rates are seen with their tenures. No failure in bidding, the only disadvantage is that your yield is not paid upfront cos that is how they make money which I am comfortable with.

I have been using the app and it is excellent.

I-invest is an app by Parthian partners. If you check SEC website, Parthian partners are listed as Inter-Dealer Brokers. They were the first in Nigeria to be licensed by SEC as Inter-Dealer brokers.

Check around and ask of what inter-dealer brokers do. It should be able to put things in perspective.

I sent a mail to Parthian partners for an official investment advice as proof of investment and they said that is possible. I suggest users of the app obtain this if possible, at least for weighty T Bills. This is to give you the needed security.

it is not the same thing as treasury bills please.
