InvestorsMind: How much is the daily profit on 5 million naira investment on Stanbicibtc MMF? Are you aware too that capital is 97% guarantee, unlike Treasury Bills where capital is %99 guarantee. Apparently one can lose capital on MMF? No Sir, your capital is 100% guaranteed in MMFunds because they invest in Treasury bills and safe mediums. you can only loose some (if at all) of your capital in an EQUITY fund because they invest in stocks and stocks can go up or down. But the managers usually minimize losses though. MMF rates are around 15% now, so approx. 1% monthly 1% of 5M is 50k monthly.. divide that by 30 days to know daily expectations.. approx~ N1500 daily N:B.. your mmf earnings (ibtc) is added and is withdrawable every 7days now. good luck !! #Goodness29 |

In fact remove everything who cares? you my friend are very right! well said. i worked with jumia.. And i regretted so many poor products they delivered (esp. Fashion). Some of their external suppliers just use jumia as a means to sell their poor quality products because... how then can i pay before delivery? pick up is the only option now.. otherwise online shopping is dead. |

haibe: I think we both have a similar question.
Hello house: As the question above, does it normally take so long for top ups on the online portal to reflect? I am asking because i have done a transfer through the portal since yesterday and have been debited but this is yet to reflect? Is this normal? I only need to know it this is normal so that i wont bother sending any message to their customer care. Thanks its normal.. it is stated that it will be updated within 48 hrs. so please wait 48 hrs.. (remember its the beginning of the year, some staff just resumed on monday; they may have back logs of requests to sort through) |

IamZod: I am not using the app. Just logging in with chrome browser. I however see not redeemable online. did you fill all the forms, especially the small "online redemption form" during registration? you may have to fill it again and send it or go to their office and fill it there to activate online redemption. |

kolaish: My investment strategy varies depending on the stock I am holding. It has favoured me at least 75%. Let me give you an insight:
I bought 1m units of Transcorp @ 143k two weeks ago = N1,430,000 sold yesterday @ 1.86 = N1,860,000 That means profit of N430,000 - N15,000 (txns charges). A gain of N415,000 is to me a good investment on the above. Mind you transcorp does not have good numbers supporting it and may/may not go down to the same price I bought it, but a bird in hand is more than 20 in the bush, my gain is already in my account. Mind you, I keep monitoring it again when it has bottomed out around 165k or less, that means I will be having 1,120,000 units rather than the 1m units I am holding before, Or I may decide not to buy again and buy another stock.
But for other stock in my portfolio like DF, I decided to leave it even when I saw it going down because I know their is nos to support it and it can still go up.
Please note that no strategy is perfect in the NSE, but experience sometimes, is the best teacher. This is happening while cbn is lowering tbills rates... When investors run from it now they will start shouting 18%... SMH |

Though they have their challenges but I have had no reason whatsoever to leave them, afterall, other houses have their challenges as well. Alright.. Thank You very much Sir |

ijinleoro: FBNH is a good buy even at the current price. The first quarter of this year will see virtually all stock blossoming and probably reaching unprecedented high.
My opinion please. Watching current corporate results.. plus fall in Tbills rates.. your thoughts are well founded 4th quarter results cannot be different from Q3 positivity...so dividends on the horizon. mind you DF's PAT is higher than FMN's. correction may be on the horizon. |
