why all these complaints about 2billion and some millions?
in october the Debt Management Office took 300 billion from TSA of Nigeria and invested it in Nigerian Treasury bills..at 18% interest rate!
No one complained!
They made over 50 billion out of govt money by loaning nigeria's money to Nigerian govt!
and you are complaining about 2.2billion.. Mtcheww..
wake me up when Nigerians are ready to kick out these fraudulent Elites! |

bomsilaga: ITS politics my man. start late so they will ask you to continue buhari and atiku had a deal to form apc. i believe now that, the deal was one tenor each for both of them. if buhari stays 8 years, atiku cannot be the next president. Becos all parties will have to zone presidency away from the north. 2019 is atiku's last chance at presidency in at least the next 8 -12 years. BU-bu wont win that 2019 election.. He doesnt have to because he will get presidential gratuity and pensions now.. why suffer another 4years with risk of dying there? |

markbenny: availability of raw material
local production in Nigeria at the moment can not be compared to that of China. we are talking of boosting local production to become self sufficient and even start exporting like China you mean ibeto is importing raw materials? that is bad! what we mean by boosting local production is: to use OUR raw materials. we have ample raw materials that need processing... if its not profitable to import raw materials and manufacture, then why do it? No economic sense in that. even china have things they import till tomorrow. we should produce what we can and import what we cant produce reasonably at home. America can produce phones and many other stuff at home but, they import from china, why? because its cheaper to make an iphone with cheap labor and elecetricity in china |
Business › Re: Dumping From China Led To Loss Of 2,000 Jobs In Nnewi Battery Coy-ibeto by RealityShot: 1:39pm On Dec 22, 2017 |
markbenny: The Chinese use the cheapest technology worldwide. there are countries that have banned imports from China irrespective of quality.
90% of nairaland guys that do drop shipping buy from China because products are cheap, else the dollar crunch won't allow them make a farting as profit.
nobody's business when Quality is questioned Why is ibeto not using the cheapest technology? what technologies might those be? he didnt talk about quality; so lets leave that alone. |

Politics › Re: Where Are The Modular Refineries? by RealityShot: 10:47am On Dec 22, 2017 |
LoJ: This is a very short sighted view. The money made from importing generator can equally be made if not higher via refining the existing nigerian gaz into petrol. They can just turn their equity from one business into the other, with the advantage that they will be doing something patriotic that will benefit them and their children too.
And a resourceful leadership with vision would have understood that and provided tax incentives to encourage the businessmen who invest into that domain, while increasing tax on importation of petrol. As simple as abc. never think in ABC when dealing with APC govt and Greedy Nigerian Elites! |

by the way: recession started as a result of the removal of fuel subsidy (not fall of crude oil price). WHO REMOVED SUBSIDY? |
