I'm expecting payment via BTC and I've been researching since yesterday on what wallet option is best for me with security in mind and some personal control. So far I've learnt blockchain.com is superior to many and I'll have my private keys. My only challenge has been how Nigerian users get the funds to their bank accounts. Is Naira among the fiat currencies supported on blockchain.com? Luno would have been the most convenient option but their wahala too plenty. Honest answers please. Thanks a lot guys. |

We have since moved away from a world where learning and specialization (gotten through those degrees) was able to reward those who possess them and guarantee a better life. In today's world, what you create, what you innovate, any crucial problem you solve and scale up your work, that is what guarantees success. If you're out to learn what has been known and is taught in those institutions (whether Harvard or UNIJOS), you're most definitely coming out to serve the same unfair system controlled by the elite and to live life on their own terms (how much reward you can get for your effort has been mapped out to keep you limited). It will take God-given direction to find out and do what seems mundane but catapults you to unexpected levels of success. My 1 kobo. |
I seriously don't get this philosophy. Does being an only child mean he won't live old enough to marry at the right time and age? The things people do when they lack faith in God! And it's a church ⛪ wedding o. Complicating the boy's life for no reason. God help Africa. |
No wonder I refused to do this until I was certain my mother is fully menopausal. I didn't want any younger one, not even by mistake ![]() Last-born Empire! |
Wait, you mean 12k soup that will last 1 week for a family of 3? |
I'd say the first few comments seem a little too excited. As much as the Japanese decision is a good move on their part, it's too early to see it as the beginning of a big downfall for China. And believe me it's naive to assume it will be as easy for Western economies to make the same move, seeing how much production power they've ceded to China in recent years. Though if you give that choice to Trump, I'm damn sure he'll take the Japanese route too. But Trump doesn't run american firms so he won't bear the consequences. I think this move, if it's to be copied by the west, will be a much slower / tedious process for them than it will be for Japan. Also there's always that possibility that it becomes more than an economic problem but also a political one, with China ready to do dangerous things to keep itself on the world dominance course. Africa is a different ballgame. Las las na only prayers we get to pray o. We go prevail. |

The Marriage Kind of Love (excerpt from a Myles Monroe teaching) If you are honest with yourself, you surely must have wondered once or twice whether you have what it takes to stay married to one person all your life. Well, it's not like you lack the capacity to love and love deeply and for long. But with all that settled, one still wonders; "where is my limit"? "how far can I go"? "what is that thing my partner will do and I decide its over, I can't take it anymore?" It gets even worse if, like myself, you don't believe in divorce, separation and all that. It's a concept I've explored long before I was old enough to contemplate setting down. Myles Monroe and his teachings on relationship have helped clarify a lot of issues for me and point to the root of these problems and how to understand them from the basics. Perhaps this one will spark your interest. The YouTube channel has numerous other videos on relationship, so take your time & explore. And by the way, I'm still very single so we're in this together... ![]() https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tvNkpmekeec |
The capacity for this kind of forgiveness (I mean genuine one) can only be granted by God. No carnal man can do it genuinely. It also depends on the kind of "love" the relationship was built on; There are basically four kinds. Unfortunately most marriages as we know, were built on the wrong kind of love. It can't survive such shocks. The Marriage Kind of Love (excerpt from a Myles Monroe teaching) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tvNkpmekeec |

fatymore:Courses to take but no data. This has affected me hugely already, even before this stay-at-home. Nigerian telecom companies should help our lives this period by lowering data costs abeg. They've been making a whole lot from data and now that 9-5 workers who hardly have time for their phones are at home, they're going to make even more. Slashing costs a bit can't hurt their accounts that much. Lemme go & scream on Twitter |

AceRoyal:Exactly. @AceRoyal got it right. This, right here, is the progression. Yes our people have a bad disposition toward others and an extractive nature in the business and workplace. But this pattern has an origin. It's no news that colonialism did us a number. But we've had six decades of opportunity to recover from that and build a prosperous society for all. How did we fail? Leaders. The frustration we see on the streets everyday is directly linked to the frustration the people have received from a failed leadership for generations. I'm not here to justify bad character, I'm just saying, knowing Nigeria's history, it's only natural tendency that we have ended up where we are now. Evils of leadership gave rise to the overwhelmingly evil society we have today, not the other way round. And to be honest, the ability to give the situation a bird's-eye view and reason it with understanding and desire change (like you're doing here) is only possible with sound education. Do I need to add how the leadership has failed us in that aspect too? This is a hot topic for me and is hardly exhaustible in an online discussion so I'll leave it here. |

OP God bless you. If you're still hustling, this 2020 ehn your hustle must reach permanent site. You don't know how happy I am when I chance upon Nigerians that reason well like you. Our land is filled with folks who prefer to live in denial of reality. It's part of the reason for our poverty. I keep telling people that getting married isn't such a big deal. I think at this age with the little I know about life and my discipline, I can handle marriage. The real deal is raising kid(s). If that part doesn't scare you, bro/sis I troway salute o. You try pass me. |

This is wonderful. They're currently doing something like this in Cairo. They also call it new Cairo. My only opinion (if I were to give one) would be that they should just strive for the best quality even though it takes a longer time to complete. A good business model surrounding the amenities must follow too. For someone who has plans to get into real estate, this is really mouth-watering. |
