PoliticsWhy Would President Jonathan Visit Borno When Attack Is At Its Highest? by rebranded(op): 7:06pm On Jan 15, 2015
Okupe used to say Borno was not safe for the President to visit and he would visit later at some point.

The last one week BH has intensified their attack in the NE yet it is now that GEJ decides to visit.

Does it mean he could have visited before in the past?

Did he visit because of re-election?

Is he just realizing his failures while time is running out on his administration?

abeg anyone that has answer should help us o

We dey watch o!
PoliticsRe: Will GEJ Visit Borno State Or NE Before The Elections? by rebranded(op): 6:55pm On Jan 15, 2015
President Goodluck Jonathan and his military chiefs on Thursday undertook an unexpected visit to Maiduguri, the Borno State capital.
The president and the military high command left for Borno State, the hot bed of Boko Haram insurgency, after attending the Armed Forces Remembrance in Abuja.
A source who asked not to be named because he was not authorised to speak on the visit, said Mr. Jonathan and the service chiefs will meet with troops in the north east state.
“The president and the service chiefs left for the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport shortly after the ceremony at the National Arcade,” said the source.
“They will be meeting with troops and some community leaders before coming back to Abuja later in the day.”
Boko Haram has killed over 13, 000 Nigerians since 2009 and has seized dozens of towns and villages in Northeast Nigeria.
Mr. Jonathan has come under severe criticisms over the handling of the fight against the group. The president has also been criticised for not meeting with troops who complain of poor equipment and funding for the war.
Boko Haram recently seized Baga, a town in Borno State after sacking the military base there. Amnesty International said the group killed 2,000 residents.
The Nigerian military said only 150 people were killed.
Earlier, at the Remembrance Day parade at the National Arcade, Abuja, Mr. Jonathan had led leaders of Nigeria’s legislature, the judiciary, military and para-military groups to lay wreath in honour of the fallen soldiers.
The president thereafter released white pigeons, signifying freedom, unity, peace and harmony of the country and also signed the register.

INEC should have been giving out the permanent voters card since beginning of 2014.

They had 4 years to plan for this election. After four years they are unable to give out PVCs what a shame!

PoliticsAPC Should Have Presented A Younger Candidate by rebranded(op): 2:02pm On Jan 09, 2015
I am starting to feel APC might have made a grave mistake presented an older candidate. Buhari is a good man and has change in him and all, but looking at the present day realities. I am starting to doubt Buhari has what it takes to be a President in the 21st century.

GEJ is still clueless and unfit for the position. A Tambuwal/Osinbajo would have been perfect angry

Just decided to visit ranker.com to see the much talked about listing of GMB as an Alumni of the American war college.

Lo and behold I also discovered that same site listed him as a famous dictator.

He occupies No.80 on the list.

So if we accept the first listing, I think we should also accept the 2nd since it is the same website.

The case of Nigeria is the case of a rich kid that is not aware he is rich, because his late parents wealth is being controlled by a few.

Each time hes handed some change he praises them and thanks not knowing he is worth over 10,000 what he is handed.

GEJ might have done some construction here and there..do you know how much Nigeria was earning from oil at $115..even a clueless man will do all GEJ has done with some of the money.

Nigeria could have been transformed in the last 5 years..dont be praising mediocrity my people

PoliticsRe: The Nigerian Presidential Air Fleet, The Untold Story by rebranded(m): 6:10pm On Dec 25, 2014
For the governor's its more of they dont want to die!..when Nigeria started having series of air crash..they opted for private jet as usual.

Bad medical care in Nigeria, they opt for Foreign medical trips.

Bad education systems, they send their kids abroad.

Instead of finding solution for the country they solve for themselves with our money.

GEJ's own is just pure cluelessness and confusion. The same team that advised him on MAULAG must be behind telling him to get a new plane yearly

LRNZH:
pls look at the time frames you are quoting.

GEJ got into power February, 2010. He promised stable electricity by April, 2011.
This is December, 2014 with electricity generation at its worst and tarrifs at their highest.
Do not make certain excuses for the Jesus of Otueke. They are too lame.
lol GEJ is hard to defend, guys that try to defend him eventually start sounding stupid in a bid to help the guy from nairalanders to abati, okupe and pdp.

What a shame!

I can't see any promise made there. A promise is quiet different from a target. A target can either be realistic or unrealistic.

He supposedly made a target he couldn't meet which I believe its a normal thing that can happen to anyone .

This could be as a result of an unforseen circumstances. Nobody is perfect aside God.
lol unforseen circumstance after being in aso rock for four years prior to 2011 GEJ doesnt know what the challenges are to utter such target? pure failure!

PoliticsPerfect Time To Remove Oil Subsidy? by rebranded(op): 2:19pm On Dec 23, 2014
Various reports and individuals continue to ask if subsidy still exists with oil price below $60

If at anytime the government wants to remove subsidy, with Naira falling while Nigerians will enjoy a decrease in full price now might be the time.

It is obvious the economy is on amber, I hope our finance minister and GEJ will take advantage of this asap
