Metal doors was never an option for me.

Was going to make wooden doors locally but don’t have that time anymore.

This Turkey door I’m considering has a wooden look and something that looks like a solid frame. I just hope it’s as sturdy as it looks.

I was advised to go with locally made doors cos they said it lasts longer than foreign doors..

I used locally fabricated metal/steel doors for entrances and I regret it cos I got pictures from the pop guys showing me the damage on the front door... It is basically breaking from the top, they said that it doesn't close well except they bang the doors.. Will have to change it to foreign door after I am done with other important stuff before screeding and painting starts.

I feel and don't think this is different from stamp concrete....the only difference is the colouring and sealant used..they are both made from concrete mix.

Good morning chief engineer,
Graffitex is N16000 and it covers 6/8 sqm per drum.
The wall does not need to be screeded before application. It comes in different colors too and doesn't need painting but varnish could be applied on it to give it a shiny effect.
I've been asked severally online and offline if it could be applied on an unplastered wall and an idea just occurred to me that it would be possible if the blocks are primed with good quality paint.
This would help to make the surface of the blocks less porous, bind the loose particles and form a surface that would allow smooth application without wasting the graffitex.

Will save this here cos I am considering using graffitex...thanks for the response, God bless you...

This is graffitex and I produce it.

Are they good for exteriors? Do they form molds with time? Are they resistant to water? Do they peel and fall off?

Graffitex is water resistant and doesn't allow growth but I don't know how it would look when applied on unplastered wall.

Please check this out...what are your takes on it for external walls of a building? Do you produce this?

I can't say for now because I have not moved in to the house. I bought the doors and they are beautiful. For proper review, I need to start using them, in that way, I can attest to how durable they are.

I don't know if flashband will work, normally it's a new roof and not suppose to mess it up with flashband. Need to be corrected as soon as possible since POP installations have commenced

Some relatives are very greedy, no matter how much good you do to them.....they want to finish you by all means.


However, Diasporans should do well to their relations too financially, how can you have a relative that barely feeds and find it difficult to provide for his family, yet you don't see it necessary to support him, even if he didn't ask, But you send him millions of naira to build you a house in Nigeria and you expect him not to rip you off. No matter how you help some relatives, they never get satisfied...

Om this issue of leaking roof...please what can I do to fix my leaking roof? They have already started pop work on it.. It's small holes in the roofing sheet about 3 places... My engineer found the holes and said he will fix it for over months now, now he told them to go ahead with pop work that he will fix it through manhole. If I can buy the material and find someone to fix it, I will be at rest... And a picture I got from the pop guys, I noticed that the gutter is pulling off, I guess by wind... What step should I take concerning the issues with the roof?
