Romance › Re: Love And Crime by RedHotChic(op): 2:49pm On Jun 28, 2008
It also depends on how i heard this, if he told me, its sooooo better off, than hearing it somewhere else.I would never report him to the cops. (I would annul the relationship, but if married, can't tell).
If i'm sooo in love with him, it'll hurt me for life!

To men: Please some of us like the truth, no matter how bitter it is, tell me as it is.
Are you aware that the affairs of the heart can make us do stupid things sometimes? What if this man you are married to is a murderer and you decide to keep quiet, don't you know he may turn around one day and murder you?

Note: There is a provision in the law in America where a spouse cannot testify against each other during or after the marriage other because whatever the defendant spouse told the other was said in confidence but there are also limitations depending on the case involved.
Romance › Love And Crime by RedHotChic(op): 2:18pm On Jun 28, 2008
You are in love with your spouse, life is good and he/she is all you ever wanted in a partner . Then, you suddenly made a gruesome discovery about his/her past like raping and killing a child. This is a heinous crime that can take him/her to jail for some time if you rat him/her out. Being a good law abiding citizen, will you push your love aside and call the cops? If you can't do it, will you ever do it when there is divorce?
Foreign Affairs › Re: Nigerians Executed In Indonesia by RedHotChic(f): 10:46pm On Jun 27, 2008
The two people were executed and you see it as a joking matter?
It's not a laughing matter but if they were guilty, so be it.
Politics › Re: Uk Embassy Rejects 14 Lagos Lawmakers Visa by RedHotChic(op): 10:43pm On Jun 27, 2008
@RedHOTChic, it is a slap on the face of the affected (the legislators) not on the face of any other Lagosians/Nigerians. In fact it is a blessing (though temporary because, they won't stop until they go on that trip even if it is Afghanistan)
Roflmao.

Romance › Re: Metrosexual Brothers by RedHotChic(f): 3:27am On Jun 27, 2008
Just because a dude is serious about his appearance doesn't mean he is a homosexual. How many females want a man that isn't well groomed or has no care for his appearance.
Good appearance is relative and should be limited to the avg masculine cosmetics.
Romance › Re: Over 30 Women, Who's To Blame? by RedHotChic(f): 3:23am On Jun 27, 2008

Romance › Re: Should Men Be Allowed To Have A Right Over Their Unborn Babies? by RedHotChic(op): 3:19am On Jun 27, 2008
That's why you shouldn't be bitter when it is argued that men are, on average, physically stronger than women and consequently deserve peculiar jobs over women?
Physically stronger, yes; peculiar jobs, no(unless it's gigolo), Now, tell me one thing a man can do that a woman can't do?

That's why women are naturally prepared to bear babies, abi?
That's why you should not complain when they control 100% equity shares in your pregnancy.

In contrast, will the man be able to forgo the emotional trauma and psychological trauma inflicted upon him during the rape and perhaps for the rest of hsi life?
That's why Jackal called men the stronger sex, abi?
Romance › Re: Should Men Be Allowed To Have A Right Over Their Unborn Babies? by RedHotChic(op): 3:05am On Jun 27, 2008
I'm imploring a wholistic perspective here Funmi. I happen to think both the man and the woman should have a fair chance to determine what happens with unborn fetuses.
I disagree because the pain associated with the pregnancy is not evenly distributed.
Romance › Re: Should Men Be Allowed To Have A Right Over Their Unborn Babies? by RedHotChic(op): 2:59am On Jun 27, 2008
In which case she can still keep the baby at his expense. I have been taught to avoid unintentional reproduction and I would like to keep control of this aspect of my life as well.
That's one of the things in life that falls under the category of "it's unfortunate". In the same vein, will a man be forced to partake in the pains associated with the pregnancy that resulted as a result of his rape?
Romance › Re: For A Million Dollar by RedHotChic(f): 2:57am On Jun 27, 2008

If a woman rapes a man don't you think the man has a right to determine what becomes of his sperm?
Lmao; No, the man has the right to throw her in jail for rape.
Romance › Re: Should Men Be Allowed To Have A Right Over Their Unborn Babies? by RedHotChic(op): 2:52am On Jun 27, 2008
This is one of the nasty ones: it's my body, i can kill the baby.
What can you say? The baby is withing the jurisdiction of their body besides, you seem to look at it from one side, what about when the guys want her to terminate the pregnancy but she really really wants to keep the baby, will you also blame the guys for their request?
Romance › Re: Should Men Be Allowed To Have A Right Over Their Unborn Babies? by RedHotChic(op): 2:49am On Jun 27, 2008
Since we all are for equality, I think both the man and women should have an equal right in determining the fate of the unborn child
Consider the hormonal changes, stretch marks, mood swings, morning sicknesses associated with pregnancy and tell me which of them inflicts a measurable amount of pain on the man?
Romance › Re: Should Men Be Allowed To Have A Right Over Their Unborn Babies? by RedHotChic(op): 2:48am On Jun 27, 2008
I definitely respect all of these women and their rights to their domineering opinion on the subject of abortion, funny enough I still think the premise of their posts are filled with flaws.
What flaws?
Romance › Re: Should Men Be Allowed To Have A Right Over Their Unborn Babies? by RedHotChic(op): 1:45am On Jun 27, 2008
Come to think of it, what has a woman's insensitivity gotta do with the fact that she's carrying a baby and should decide whether to have the baby or not? I'm pro life but I honestly do not wish men be allowed to make decisions over a woman's pregnancy because it's HER body and not the MAN"S body.
Romance › Re: Should Men Be Allowed To Have A Right Over Their Unborn Babies? by RedHotChic(op): 1:42am On Jun 27, 2008
believe me

if she presented an arguement like your friend did

if i walk, am not coming back, and the kid aint getting a pin from me, because of her/his mum's insensitivity

let her take me to court for it
First of all, it's not the kids fault. You chose her to be your babies mother and not the baby.

2ndly, whether you want to come back or not, as long as you are in the US or canada, they'll come and carry you from that hole you are hiding unless you run to Zungeru.
Romance › Re: Should Men Be Allowed To Have A Right Over Their Unborn Babies? by RedHotChic(op): 1:35am On Jun 27, 2008
