I have many stories like this and I should be dead many times a long time ago. And that's why I am not scared of death because even if I die now, I died late.

Let me give you just one

When I was a kid maybe about 7 years old, I was chasing grasshopper (this is in the village) and there was this foundation they just dug to build a house.

The grasshopper fell inside the foundation. So, I have to jump down the foundation, probably about 4 feet deep.

Unknown to me there was a broken bottle with its teeth facing right up. I jumped and landed one of my legs on the broken bottle. Initially I didn't feel any pain but within few seconds the pain came, then I tried to pull out the bottle and it refused to come out. I tried again and was able to pull it out. By then, blood was flowing like water. But that's just the best part.

Now, instead of going to our house to inform my mom, I began using green leaves to see whether I can treat myself. I was scared to go home because of fear that my mom would beat me.

I couldn't tell anyone.

It was after my mom noticed my walking steps in the evening that she asked me why I was walking that way. That's when I told her.

She then took me to a chemist store where I was given an injection. I think they called the medicine then TCP or something like that.

Children take dangerous risks that their parents are not aware of.

Ha, that was a very bad incident. You must have lost a lot of blood. Thank God, your mom saw through your deceit and took you to the chemist. Na God dey protect children o.

We were worse than Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn as kids. I threw a stone and broke a woman's windscreen out of wickedness. I saw it as fun. We did bad things in the hostel during my secondary school days in Ijebu Ode. Some guys in the hostel actually stole a pig from a farm in the area, roasted it and ate it. Everything was done in the night in a bush behind the hostel. Boarders Night of wickedness of the highest order.

A very hefty guy who is my step mother's in-law paid our family a visit of a week plus.

When we started coming home from the farm, I took the back position, the guy was in-between me and my sister and other kids were in the front and my beloved sister was still weeping profusely.

Enroute home, I secretlyb plucked some canes, Stubborn grass (sida acuta) and shoved them in my pants at the line at my back.

As we don near home (when I knew that people would easily come to rescue me), I started lashing this Goliath strokes....when the canes I pluked broke away I speedily picked the remnant sticks from the goat feeds aahhh! these ones delivered my anger very well unto his back... immediately they sticks finished, that was when people knew and ran to separate us.

I dealt with him, he cried like my sister did!
My mom and sisters reprimanded me in the family eyes but they praised me and Called me champion in when they called me in!

You the boss, man. You did the right thing by avenging your sister. I would have done the same thing.

I had a neighbor similar to that years back while still a bachelor.
He will run his gen set all through the day disturbing me from reading or sleeping coupled with fumes from the generator.
I discussed with him but he said he won't deprive himself because of me.
I dealt with him real bad with my very noisy Jin Lin gen then. When he off his gen by 11pm,I started mine and run it till day break!!
When he complained he was unable to sleep,I simply told him "I can't deprive myself of comfort because of you!"
He got the message and we later aligned..

I am an introvert by nature. I don't make friends easily. I keep to myself at work. And in the compound. I have noticed that my neighbors don't allow their children come to my place. I don't mind though. It is the kids that actually like me and they come to borrow books etc. We should not poison the mind of kids. And please don't have sexual relationships with your neighbours or their children whether you are married or not. Avoid lusting after your neighbours wife. Or husband. It does not end well.

Molues have been replaced by those white and red long big buses at Ikorodu. The white buses still look like Molues though and they charge cheaper fares than the smaller buses or BRT buses. I have not seen a molue for close to 15 years now.

I still bring in books regularly. The library is a social Enterprise. We make money but what we are doing for the community is what matters most. We are silently growing to a profitable level.

I can't give you the cost you are looking for. What I will advice is that you should just adjust the prices on the initial list by 50% increase and do your own research via or Nairaland. Your negotiation skills are also important at this stage. Cheers.

When will Lagos State enact a law that will protect Nigerians and Lagosians from Omo Oniles and land grabbers? This is the law that we need in Lagos and other parts of Nigeria.

We don't really need Germany and France to develop our country. We can learn from the Chinese and Japanese how to improve our land. Asia is the continent to learn from.

Except you are born in the UK or you have acquired Permanent Residence there pre 2016, you will most likely face an immigration tribunal in the UK. Except God helps you to escape the hooks of the Home Office .
