Never ever will we PDP accept the verdict of the supreme court. The judges have been bought by Tinubu and his party. In fact, we have evidence that there was a teleconversation on Tmobile line between them. Engineerer Segun Ana must go to the ICC at The Hague for reclamation of his bondage.

Lemme help you a little;
Since you desire to do your undergrad in the US, the first and foremost thing to do is to settle scores with SAT and have a high to very high score. After the SAT has been nailed, you can now proceed into checking for your desired school with special consideration for what the school is going to offer you and how it is going to contribute to your future goals or plans.
Another thing is this "don't desire to study in USA because you want to escape your Fatherland". Even if immigration purpose is on your mind, let it be a secondary thing and let your goal and passion towards achieving the goal be the primary drive for choosing to study in the States. This primary reason will enable you to search for a school in line with purpose of studying in The States.
After that, have a way of getting sponsor based in Nigeria here, as your Ame sponsorship route is gonna raise a red-flag before the embassy. If you nail your SAT very well, there is tendency that you get scholarship for your studies and that eases the financial requirements on your path a little.
After that SAT is cleared, kindly rent a room at Google and destabilize their house for info on American universities and also rent another "boys' squatter" at usnews.com for list of American schools and their rankings.
If you can do all these I have mentioned up there, kindly come back and enrol for tutelage and tutorial classes from Ojap, Imperiouxx, Bigfrancis, Dkgetmuny and other gugurus here and they will gladly answer you with smile.
Note this: I don't know about SAT registeration, so don't ask me.
Lest I forget, you may need to write TOEFL too, but I am not sure.

May we never experience war in the country and may the land always thrive in peace and prosperity.
Quite unfortunate that what happened took place in the country, but the truth is that so many of our leaders, whom we could have called statesmen, are looters only concerned with their own welfare and not the welfare of the citizenry.
At this point in our nation, we need visioneers; from southeast to southwest. People that will take the course of their respective nations and charter it towards a greater height.

Igbo Kwenu!!!
God bless the Igbo nation,
God bless the Nigeria.

Charles1234: hey man i understand you perfectly but i will like to say i don't agree with your point. My reasons are this fly overs in uyo where all resident area that had to be brought down so as to build a quality structure and they were all build in this present Governor Akpabio.. I think if Ibadan most have quality structures then alot of those house around this area has to go and secondly there will always be need for expansion,if you look under the Ibadan flyover in pics is like a market square,it does not matter if the flyover was there 50 years ago, there something in engineering will call remodeling..if you know Uyo 5 years ago,You will describe it as a village.this fly over in Ibadan in the tread is not a standard structural engineering job.
That area isn't sparsely structured as you may it. If they embarked on demolition, it's going to cost more for the government; except it's been handled by the FG. The problem is lack of blueprint for our cities, as structures were just erected without future considerations in view, hence the making it a little bit tedious for future expansion as what you have there in the pictures you posted. The Molete flyover is just like the ones you posted up here and that's because that place is very spacious and sparcely populated as at the time of its construction. Except a civil engineer proves other way round, I want to believe that this Mokola flyover is what could have been done without causing demolition.
The flyover might not be aesthetically appealing, but it's structurally okay. For the guy calling it Amala bridge, kindly take your private jet or chooper and tour the bridge and see for yourself whether what was done was a shabby work or a standard one.

E-health as in telemedicine? Your area of interest might be really possible for it, most especially if it is a new interest of research. Check for the high-profiled institutions and search first. The mid-ranked schools may not have professors in this area.

This model can cater for that roundabout perfectly.
The model up here is possible if there were enough space for construction, but with an area like Mokola, that is impossible, except they are going to bulldoze buildings. Furthermore, the bridge isn't going to allow heavy duty vehicles.

dbride: That is just a historical site that has nothing to do with Christianity. Note, the Jews are not Christians; the Jews are still expecting the Messiah!

That said, God knows the inner thoughts of every man and is capable of rewarding every man according to his thoughts. I ask: Must they go there to ask the muslims all over the world to embrace peace? Would this mean that Boko Haram will now stop their Jihad against kaferi, Democracy and Constitution in Nigeria? There is more unsaid than said. You can deceive the world but you cannot deceive God.
You spoke well. Some of these scribes are peace-loving but they weren't efficient with motives. Before they went to Europe, they should have started this "peace and tolerance" campaign of theirs right away from home. Indonesia is having trouble with people of other faith, Pakistan same; Iran same, Egypt same, India same, and not leaving out Xinjiang region or atheist China. They should preach peace and tolerance, but let it start from their own territories.
IslamRe: Muslim Leaders Peform Salat At Auschwitz by RedReact: 12:48pm On May 29, 2013
why did they visit it?

just wondering.
Reason:
“Whether in Europe today or in the Muslim world, my
call to humanity: End racism, for God’s sake, end
anti-Semitism, for God’s sake, end Islamophobia for
God’s sake, end sexism for God’s sake… Enough is
enough,” he said.
But they didn't complete the statement. They added Islamophobia but never included "end terrorism in the name of religion". They were proclaiming the adoption of fairness or tolerance, but never talked about the plight of people of other faiths in Islamic countries; not fair enough.

ferdimako: So CoE is not officially meant to signify and trigger off SVP for all the schools?
No! SVP is just to get your visa processed for a short period of time instead of 3 months. This is done if your resumption is very close, and not up to 3 months required for visa processing.

okesammie: Except the TAFE programme leads to a degree. An event where you are to proceed for a degree course having completed TAFE. The TAFE offer must come along with an offer for a degree on completion. Such TAFE institutions must have an agreement with a university on the particular course you are going in for.
I concur, but that program has to be a direct to degree advanced diploma program (D2D) and nobody will want to go for that one except someone without a BSc degree and BSc in Australia for a foreigner isn't a small thing.

okesammie: How about your masters admission? You need not waste time, if you can get a reputable school here in Nigeria, you will be accepted for Ph.d, i am sure of that. I wish us luck.
I got admitted already, just waiting to get started. I am heading to Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and since the school has wide link with most of these top-rated schools worldwide, I want to wait till I reach there before I start compiling my potential supervisors.

okesammie: Well, i just decided to see what's going on in the house and i found some sort of argument about securing scholarships in australia while one is still in Nigeria. It is more than possible. A lecturer that teaches me at masters level now, used one of such scholarships for his Ph.d without doing master's degree because he made a 1st class at undergraduate level from a nigerian university. It all depends on your transcript, the reputation of the school you are coming from and your grade. If you are going for a master's degree by research you will get scholarships if you finished with a fine grade at undergraduate level. Almost every australian university has a postgraduate research scholarship. Schools like melbourne will automatically consider you for all available scholarships if you apply for a research program and i can bet you will definitely get one if your result is a fine one.
Oke, how far with studies? Were you able to get the links I sent? Have you started. Contacting those professors yet or you are still chilling? I will start doing so by next year and will intensify more on getting high grades.
Everything you stated here is correct. Like you said, school reputation and grades matter most to get funding available. Many people go for masters by research and coursework while a few will do for Phd, hence funding for doctoral students for them, but still based on performance at their masters degree or undergraduate degree (first class).

^^^
First and foremost, I want to commend you on your search, but some things need to be cleared.
September resumption date might not be realistic for you based on the fact visa application would be processed for like 3 months, except you have gotten admission, and TAFES don't have streamline visa processing procedures like their university counterparts.
The above issue isn't the major issue here now, but the program you're going for. You said the duration is 1 year, as against 2 years we always route for, so as to be eligible for PR. Try and look for an advanced diploma program which would take 2 years.
As per the fee, you will be required to pay for half of the fee, and if the duration is 2 years, you pay half before you resume and balance it by the time you are ending the first year, provided it's a 2-yr program. In the case of 1-yr, you may be required to provide the fee by November or December. The major issue as per this is not the funds you have as at now, but the funds that will be available after you might have commenced the program. The embassy will want you to provide evidence of funding your study and your stay for the duration of the program without doing any work over there. I am sure you would have got this settled though, but I am giving it as a reminder.
As for the college, try another one. Look for an Advanced Diploma program, and let the colleges be in any of those regional areas because they are cheaper than their counterparts in the cities.

@Ferdimako, please come and give your view to this issue o.

texaco1: but it is those places that need to hear the gospel ,not countries like canada or usa.infact these countries brought the gospel to us .i believe there must be a financial reason for all these churches wanting to set up branches in these western nations.and most of these branches may not even have more than 50 members.
You're absolutely correct. The western missionaries are good at that anyway unlike us here; though there are little local missionaries from here that do those things too. That is why I respect these arab Christians or even Christians up north of our country, more than we southerners. Despite persecutions of varying degree, they still do covert evangelistic missions.

texaco1: why dont chrisstian ministries send missionaries to less developed countries like somalia and co where they really need the gospel.hy all the time usa,uk and canada ?God help us ooo
Quite agree with you. As for those less developed nations, there are missionaries there, just that it is not like it used to be in the days of David Livingstone or others that did theirs during the era of colonization.
As for Somalia or other countries associated with communism or the other "faith", there are missionaries there but they do their evangelization in a covert way; unlike what you do see in the Western world.

As you can see osun state is not a developed area instead of the government to think of the betterment of the state, he is concerned about his own selfish interest. To me establishing a radio station is not the way to educate the children at all because not all the children can speak good english especially the indigene because how do you expect a poor child to be on air and start talking it is insane. I think he should think of another initiatives that will benefit both the rich and the poor children thats it o.

ojoolajire: I just got a provisionla offer to study Master in Civil engineering at Charles Darwin University, Darwin Northern territory. I am aware of the two years post study visa, but my question is that after the expiration of the post study visa , how easy is it to obtain a PR visa compared to canada .
I think your program should contain some modules on internship but if not, after graduation, you should be able to get work.
From my knowledge, if you have spent 2 years in Australia, you can file for a PR. Eligibility for PR is based on points (I've forgotten the total number now), and the factors to consider include age, degree, language, and some other ones I can't remember.
CDU is located up north, which means the place would be less crowded (my opinion though) unlike down south and west. Moreover, CDU is a new institution that is increasing in ranks, so they are likely to desire to build up their rankings or reputation by the class of graduates they produce, nd this then makes their products to be sought after.
Let Jenny come and give us more info.
