manny4life: Our messiah will come from somewhere. America nor China won't send their politicians or lease their leaders to us. One viable solution though is revenge on the system. If there were groups who went after these guys in the three tiers of government, they'll be forced to seat up - by fire by force.
That is why when you hear of kidnapping, you think ordinary nigerians are inhumans, but they are forced into the acts by the socalled ruling elite.Somehow, there has to be a way out and it could mean systematically eliminating the flawed elite and the incoming elite will know the faith waiting for them if the choose to go the same ay of the past.

Democracy is not working, nigeria at this moment is worse than a military regime and the only people that the socalled democracy favours are the politicians and their cohorts that are stealing the people's resources.

ypzilanti: I agree, but sometimes you have to test the system in that way. You may just be surprised at the outcome. Also, a brilliant lawyer can appeal until it gets to supreme court, and bring attention and publicity to the issues with the roads.
It is the only way out but at the moment nigerians are beclouded and bespelled.I was speaking to somebody this morning in nigeria that told me politicians slaps their staffs and otimkpus(praise singers) at wiil, then i asked "why dont dont sue them"?he said for where, that even the police sergeant at the counter will tell the complainant to go back, apologise and remain sheepishly loyal to the same oga/madam that is harrassing him/her.

It is a lwaless country.

ypzilanti: I sincerely hope that a survivor of one of these preventable accidents resulting from bad roads sues FERMA and FG. It would make an interesting case, and serve notice that in future Nigerians will sue whenever a pot hole or bad road causes accident. The government would have to prove in court that money was not allocated to fix the road in question.
The case wont get to court. The judge himself will think the complainant is crazy.

That is why anything goes in nigeria, because it is lawless country. If there are laws, the leaders wont be getting away with mass murders like that.

Nigerian roads are death traps and nigerian drivers are not trained. The two factors combined are deadly corktail for ghastly accidents.

Of course he made the right choice that is suitable for him.His chances are slim and almost unrecognizable in england squad, but in nigeria he will be seen as a demi god.
Politics › Re: Thuggery?mfm Church Police's Molest Saharareporters Crew(video) by redsun(m): 1:14pm On Jan 01, 2013
There is no police in nigeria. The police only work for the criminal rich in nigeria. In the case of that DPO the church must have given a huge amount to look the other way.The car he drives could have been bought by the church, even his house.

Nigeria is literally a rogue state where there are no laws, everybody makes their on laws according to how ruthlessly powerful and rich they are.And they do so buy buying the police and the judiciary openly.

egoldman: Good response brother , the problem i think is the government , do they have the political will do enact laws that would permit this kind of scheme ? Would they think it would checkmate their mago mago ways ?
Of course any project that cost money to materialize and something that will bring sanity is not what nigerian leaders want to do.They thrive in chaos,in gross irresponsibilities and wanton decadence.

A country without a structured data base is not a country like nigeria.A country that can not keep a track of her citizens can keep of track of illegal immigrants, neither can she keep a track of security, social services, health, death, employment, wealth distribution or anything whatsover. It is like man that doesnt know many children he's got.

Politics › Re: Nigeria-trained Doctors Rank Second On UK Blacklist . by redsun(m): 12:28pm On Jan 01, 2013
Nigeria is a democratic country in paper, but rogue in practice.Everything that goes on in that country is wrong.People at the helm of affairs sees themselves as demi-god and can do whatever their primitive minds deem right at the expense of the society at large.

It a country managed by re-tards and one shouldnt expect the medical section to be any different.Uduagan who is the number re-tard of delta state is a "medical doctor".It is a very primitive world out there, hundreds of years behind a normal and rational society.

Do nigerians ever change mentally?Even with all the world wide information at their disposal at the click of a botton?

Why should a state like lagos be giving away 15 percent of her hard earned tax earnings to a socalled consultancy firm when the inland revenue ministry is languishing doing nothing?

What does the firm do taht the stae employees cant do?

Anybody that saw the way he knelt before adeboye will know that he is a helpless deluded clown.Like a typical and unfortunate nigerian child with no cognitive bearings as a result of flawed genetic traits of the parents.

It is a vicious of doom for a people that refuse to think.

Politics › Re: All Passengers Die in delta State accident(pix) by redsun(m): 5:57pm On Dec 31, 2012
How untrained drunkards can be allowed to be driving state public coaches is a testimony the rogue government in delta state and nigeria in general.

A country where drivers are not trained,no speed limit,no roads,no highway codes and public coaches carrying scores of passengers speeds like they are on safari race tracks(death traps) and expect to stay alive.

Ignorance kills and fundamentally ignorant people are bound to perish needlessly.

Interesting topic. The igbos could be the indiginous people of that geographical entity called nigeria. The people others came to meet.

I have always wondered, where we come from in the distace past?what was our ancestors faith and actual location 2000 years ago?It is too much to ask and it will be a challenge to all igbos to know who they really are, because people without a cogent past can hardly have a future.A phenomenon that is so common in africa, people dont really know wow they are, they just rely on some mythological stories, with no proofs and authentications for their past, like the dragons.
Foreign Affairs › Lessons To Learn From Bolivia by redsun(op): 12:46pm On Dec 30, 2012
While some countries in south america like Bolivia are coming to terms with the draconic nature of unchecked capitalisism and have started to nationalize their essential services industries like electricity, gas and oil in order to minimize the drastic and unbearing cost on poor consumers and check the draconic effects of winners takes all.

Nigerian government on the other hand is selling our national treasures to themselves and their cohorts for pittance,so that they can extort the people more and keep them in bondage forever.

Which way nigeria? Why can't the people run their services efficiently for their own good?

I learnt from an unbiased source that in edo state parents are taking their children out of socalled private schools into public schools because the governor is making significant impact in public schools in the state. That the electricity supply has significantly improved in benin to be precise. But in delta,it is total opposite, the schools are all dilapidated and people suffocates for one month at a time without a glimpse of electricity.

Politics › Re: Obi Provides Patrol Vehicles To The Army (pix) by redsun(m): 9:42pm On Dec 29, 2012
Dede1: It is the height of stupidity on the part of governor Obi to spend the money meant for the people of Anambra State on Nigerian army.

Everything about Nigeria exudes stupidity. Granted that staff cars of the officers with the rank of general are designated with STARs corresponding to the officer’s rank, it is plain idiocy to imitate American military parlance by wearing a British rank insignia as well as USA’s.

In the picture where governor Obi handed the keys to the Maj. Gen. Oshinowo, the general wore the British\Nigerian rank on his lower chest and USA format on his cullar. It is a bad joke that the general wore two stars on the culler of his uniform instead of red ribbon that represent the British\Nigerian rank of Maj. Gen. I wonder what prevented him from wearing two stars on his berate instead of Nigerian insignia of the rank of Maj. Gen.
A people that are not organize as a society can not have an army. What they have there is the carricature of british and american fighting formations, ranks, strategies and discipline. They dont have original intiatives, ideas, clues, formations or discipline of what an army stands for. They dont have purpose.

They just copy foo-lishly,just like in the areas of laws, education, religion, politics, marriage, fashion and even language. And never seems to get it right, because they dont understand it.
