Nigeria is not a crap or a shithole country a u not a Nigerian or patriotic? Or u are Biafran? Nigeria is endowed with good weather, resources and many more. We are going through bad leadership through our generation or 3 or 5 generation next and people need to remember that Nigeria is not even 60 yet. China was poor for almost 160 years. The china of 1980s is not the same as today. My point is maybe u need to appreciate the good of Nigeria and focus leds avoid focusing on the bad. We put too much emphasis on the negative of Nigeria and ignore the little nice things of Nigeria. I remember when i was stuck in the winter for 1 hour that is when the warm weather of Nigeria.

With the way Nigeria is goin she will be lucky to last up that many years you mentioned..Nigeria is a ticking time bomb and you all know that.

Yes italian mob in new york , heard of Lufthansa heist and many countless other. The drug smuggling from China to usa, the Russian mob forcing women into prostitution in Barcelona,London, Munich. Look i am not giving excuse to crimes but i am just saying that some national with worse criminal actions are given a pass and even get visa easier than even the most law abiding Nigerian. All we do is yahoo which is a very small percentage of Nigerian residing abroad yet we are looked as if na we dey commit all the crime. I remember i was search at Heathrow airport as if i was a crook. Please this is the reality, sometimes one has to develop a thick skin to deal with all these bullshit.

Blah blah Russian this, London that and guess what those countries are doing far great regardless of whatever you say.So when they commit crimes they will be neglected unlike some from a shithole of a country again fix your crap country first then try committing those crimes and see if they will not neglect you..You want a RESPECT among the elites then clean up..

It's not always about your skin or maybe when you know you have that unfavorable skin color you should try behave whenever travel out there like leave the country the day you are told to leave the country instead of overstaying or is it the scamming of IRS or bank frauds man you guys are just too much..

You still don't get it, all the European countries I know will never refuse you because they think you will overstay... But from my knowledge only U S does that shit yet it's so shameful that despite their dependence on the lame psychology of the interviewing officers, many still go and overstay and I guess it is because they rarely give visas to the genuine people who deserve it.

I think what the government should fight against is their gamble like visa process and mandate them to screen documents.

When you get to the airport, for example Delta airline - they have a guy or lady that will check your passport and visa before you even approach the check in agent. These people are only doing a visual check for fake visa or passport. Once you are cleared that is when you get to check in where the agent only cares about if your ticket is real and your final destination. When you arrive at the boarding gate, they will collect your passport again and scan it. This manifest is transmitted to the US for security and other reasons. This is how the US govt will know that you are on a flight and can wait for you (if you are a wanted person) at the gate before the plane even lands. Once this information is scanned and transmitted, it is very possible that their visas were flagged as been cancelled hence the airline was notified to remove them from the flight. I have gone through this steps more than 100 times. I know the routine. I'll be on a flight to the US by this time tomorrow and be back by the weekend.

Online visa applications (UAE) have never worked for Nigerian passport holders. Its either you apply through emirates,four or five star hotel when you have a paid reservation with them(Plus or minus Other valid visas like US, UK, Canada or Schengen)or the most popular route, through an agent. The second company (Africholidays)is just a tour company, if they dont want to process 3 months visa for Nigerians anymore, others will. The thieves didnt go with three months visa, did they? .

So its nothing new really and have nothing to do with the robbery.

Does it matter? You will still get denied regardless
