Said this consistently. If people vote according to their everyday, practical living experiences, the way their counterparts in other thriving democracies do, they will be alright. That is voting 'for the right reasons' and it will focus the government more on delivering promises and mandates rather than on crass politicking which is what this government seems to deploy all it's expertise in. |
Angelfrost:I heard Chelsea coach Maresca is no more....bad timing. |
Arsenal juju at work. All rivals drop points. |
Flangelo12:Haba, Auba is old now... Do they expect him to carry the team on his shoulders alone at that age.... They should watch how he plays for Marseille and build a team to suit his play if they expect the same kind of results. |
No big deal. Your President was on holidays approving an attack on his country and was at a festival the day after it was bombed by foreign forces. These things don't bother them. |
OTUNBAODUNARO:What are the factors that are improving. Real, measurable factors that are economically impactful to improve the standard of living if the average Nigerian. I am not talking about individual citizen but the corporate citizens of this country from north to south, east to west, all 200 million, the people he expects to vote for his leadership. |
So he admits there has been a depression up to the end of 2026, while his supporters and excusers live in denial. I hope it is a people centric economic drive. Not that which takes more from the general public to further enrich the few that grovel towards them. |
bobbiiee:The same thing as all the revenues accruing to government. There will be no difference. The money will go to the same people for the same things as we have seen over the past two years. |
kpakpakpa:And of what use is that to anyone except family, friends and contractors. Please let us have someone who is an expert in the things that matter to the people, service. |
Mr. Obi. There is little you can do about it. When a state is captured the only way out is a revolution. Fortunately the coming months and years will drive the people much closer to that utopia. Can't see any change coming from within the political process, the political space that is under lock and key. |
OredoPikin2:They will come for you. How dare you criticize their 'legacy' project. That is the road that needs attention. Not yours that can wait for tax money. |
Yeah, Arteta got the memo. Arsenal moved the ball a lot quicker this second half and this created spaces behind the Villa defence instead of the slow build up of the first half which compresses and closes up spaces. Appears Arteta finally outfoxed the wily old fox from Villa Park. |
ZombieDredd:If Haaland played for Arsenal he won't score 6 goals the whole season. They will continue to struggle to score with this type of play. |
The tragedy of buying a top 9 and moving the ball forward so slowly like Arsenal does is that your striker will never have a clean chance at goal. |
ZombieDredd:Odegaard appears a bit light weight and for a 10 not to have a good shot, is a big minus. |
Unai Emery is probably the better tactician. Today's match is a tactical battle. The longer the match goes without a breakthrough the higher the tendency Arsenal will lose it. |
oyeb15:That Lexus will alert you to tyre pressure issues so the only thing I can think of is FOD. |
So guys. Who in this team, this second eleven (actually first and a half) is good enough to play knockout football, displacing a first team player. Who is in and who is out of the first team. |
0Brien:You just said it. Uganda scores. |
Just in to watch goal 3 by the Brugge boy Ralph Onyedika. Happy for him. He's a good player. Not spectacular but steady and consistent in the middle of the park. |
femi4:Hahaha...na so. After being flogged in the public square of social media. |
toluxa1:He is becoming a stalwart in defence for club and country. Should make the tournament team if we reach the last two. |
Wordson:Nope. He is in Turkey....sorry Turkiye. |
See Onuachu. But redeemed himself seconds later. 0-1 |
Uzoho handles his first ball. |
It is becoming clear that Iwobi is a factor in the Eagles team so far. His absence here makes a big difference in that midfield. |
Moses Simon parting the Ugandan sea... ![]() |
We are a bit short in the midfield, struggling to hold on. |
Oga Bassey.... cards do pile up and matter later. Uzoho's first test. |
Onuachu on the right.. What is it about Chelle and 4-3-3 I expect A LOT from Onyedika. Plays very well for his club. Has to translate it to the Eagles. |
Mum is the word on our anthem. Better than fumbling it as none of these kids were around when it last rang out BT Back to our winning whites, the kit colour that brings us luck. |
TyrellObi:Rest for what. Is he tired? The biggest players play every game. They have statistics to chase, legacy to run. They also want to win individual honours. |
