Usmanovic95:Maybe he should be given a shot the next world cup?....when Nwabali will have retired... ![]() |
Chai, Nwabali.....hmmm....okay oh... ![]() |
Akor makes 4. Efficient. The Bangs of Osimen without the noise of Olufsen. |
Honestly I just pity Reinaldo. Been watching him since his early days at Atletico. Solid defender. We have nothing like him in our squad bar Bassey. Fate just placed him in the wrong country. A lion leading a herd of sheep. What can the lion do. |
Osimen can do a lot more about his positioning. Not his strong point, plenty of offsides instead of goals. I understand the nuisance value of purposely staying offside in attack but you have to be very technical, very aware to pull it off. |
Akinola100:He was very poor the last tournament, and the qualifiers and absolutely deserved the heat. If he wasn't criticized will he raise his level....no. |
Absolutely. Can I call him a late bloomer or is it too early to sing praises. |
DSS1335:Not a chance. His band if off somewhere else polishing the silver. |
prinsam30:Probably because of the rain. |
If Nwabali fumbles today, Chelle will have himself to blame and take full responsibility. |
seunmsg:Encouraged to fight the governor last year, leave the governor alone this year. Unprincipled politics, the corrupt seed eroding the little values left in a crumbling society. |
Mrchippychappy:Na so. As he is ordering frog legs and fine wines, he is also ordering manhunt.... Kagame is like...'Mr. President , I have never ordered that before, what does it taste like... |
benardtotti:Oh dear.... So the APC wants to rule a 'peaceful' Rivers state after all the chaos it has caused the PDP in that state through its principal agent, Mr Wike....how can this can... ![]() |
This is okay. It is America that is the problem of Nigerian security....is this not a disgrace. |
[quote author=Angelfrost post=138019666]Timely manner?!! They have more manager turnover than anyone else in the league. So, which one is timely manner?!! Should they line up managers to change twice every season?!! Where is the stability in that?!! That is exactly what I am saying. It is good, visionary management to see a stable, long term relationships with a quality hired coach. You can't say that everyone of the dozen coaches in the dugout at the Bridge in the last two and a half decades was bad. Some won trophies, where are they, why couldn't they keep them. I liken it to serial philandering where a man cannot settle down with a partner but is always after the greener grass in the other compound. Is Conte a bad coach. Someone that won multiple titles with Juventus. Why couldn't they humble themselves and keep him, warts and all. |
Naijagoodman:They are good players needing good coordination. Chelsea should learn to embrace and live with good quality coaches and at the same time learn to discard poor quality ones in a timely manner. This they have not managed in the last decade. |
How can you describe money coming into your account. Isn't it when you send money you annotate. This will be a recurring problem particularly amongst the less literate or tech savvy for a long while to come and trust Nigeria, at the end one side will have to give up and find another way to tax Nigerians. In an economy where employment is low and dependency is high, a lot of transactions will remain indescribable. |
AqualinaXYZ:It will take an awfully long rope to swing all the way from Paris to Niger state. Governance this regime is all down to two things, money and politics. Everything else is a capital fail heading towards the 3rd year of this administration. |
But there are certain wars the Nigerian military cannot fight. Agenda backed wars with the purpose of cultural or religious dominance. Because the very security forces are from diverse and multi religious backgrounds so if there is an agenda they either do nothing or fight themselves. This is the problem in Nigeria that cannot be resolved without restructuring. No one has answered the question yet. Who are those rampaging through parts of this country scorching earth, driving inhabitants into camps, taking over their lands and rebranding them culturally and religiously. Can Falana answer this. Or he like many will do well to pretend this is not going on. |
Watched the match. The whole team played poorly. Al-Hilal were decisive in play but Al-Nassr players appeared jaded. Perhaps the weight of the good start got to them. |
No way. I always ride shotgun. Can't sit at the back for any reason. And this is one of them, to check out the driving. If he sat in front he will probably have been cautioning the driver and prevented the accident, while his crew may have been less expressive since it was not familiar territory. |
Is there any striker that was bought for big money over the summer that is doing well in any of the major European leagues....Gyokeres, Isak, Sesko.... I am watching Jonathan.Davids play for Juventus right now and the guy is just a disaster. Lots of money was lost over the past summer |
Great news when you embarking on your great tax capture. Great memo to all taxpayers. That they will mismanage it and cover up their backsides. |
TOPCRUISE:He lost the last elections and refused stepping down, manipulating institutions as typical third world tyrants do. He has no international legitimacy to negotiate anything. He should have just stepped down and left Venezuela willingly when he had the chance to. Instead he started calling for amnesty for all his lackeys and a huge payoff from the Venezuelan treasury like Assad did with his. But POTUS refused that. |
seunmsg:How can they lose when the person they voted is banished to Spain and a tyrant is ruling. Do.you know just how expensive tyranny is. How much of the resources of the country goes to settling people when the leaders are not legitimately ruling. You think all those Generals in Venezuela keep quiet and watch the impunity for free... There is no substitute for a working democracy You win legitimately, you govern by popularity and everything goes well for the people. You impose yourself and your will and you and your citizens will pay dearly. |
Kai, what is this.... ![]() Are you advertising for Gestid. |
No violence please. The world has enough already. |
Are Nigerians this dumb. Little wonder this country is like this, the people led about like donkeys. China did not have to promise stable electricity. They were just building power plants, commissioning one every two weeks, adding the equivalent of 20,000 megawatts each year. Talk is cheap, where is the action. While you guys are busy dancing round budgets, gallivanting all over the world seeking so called investors and turning your offices to contracts bazaars, the people who know what do in other climes are quietly delivering. You don't have to promise anything, just start delivering. Folks nothing can be abundant and affordable if not founded on industry. Power supply is a value chain involving multisectorial investments in all sorts of production. And the more localised the industries are the faster the pace of development. What do we produce in Nigeria on an industrial scale to fastrack power supply... practically nothing. Even the low voltage cable sector is hit by macro economic headwinds of cost and inflation. When are we going to re vive ALSCON to produce high voltage aluminum conductors enmasse. When are we going to revive Ajaokuta to produce galvanized steel for transmission towers, when will we have dedicated porcelain factories in Kogi producing power insulators rather than shit cans and bathroom tiles. These are the things visionaries envisage and begin to do for sustainable development. Not empty promises based on hot air for political capital. And by the way. No nation will ever attain the level of industrialization required to prosper her people without affordable electricity. And no electricity supply mix is possible without coal plants. We have not even started. South Africa gets 74 percent of it's energy from coal plants, China the world leader in renewables still depends on coal for 62 percent of it's energy needs. So that Minister has not even started. He should wake up from slumber. |
ZombieTAMER:Agreed. Easterners have always been Republican. That's why the colonialists didn't quite like them. They were much more difficult to control under one head. While the north and west were more like sheep, the East and south are more like goats. Not to sound condescending in anyway, because these attributes have both the positive side and the negative. I mean, in my opinion I love mutton, tastes wonderful but is essentially heart glue and will kill you in time. Goat meat however is great for healthy eating....but it smells goddam awful. I guess that's how the world works. |
And to think that a government will seek to take from people earning slightly above 50 dollars a month or less than two dollars a day is just so cruel. That ridiculous threshold of N800,000 is equivalent to 550 dollars a year or One dollar, 50 cents a day. So if I earn two dollars a day I am liable to give a portion to government...haba. Considering that the United Nations has adopted the World Bank's IPL (International Poverty Line), that delineates poverty from extreme poverty to be survival on 3 dollars a day, our government intends taxing anyone earning above One dollar fifty cents. That is taxing Extreme Poverty. This is mean and absolutely unconscionable. |
That is what I keep on harping. We don't have an income problem. We have a SPENDING problem. Collect all the oil receipts (Saudi amounts), collect all the taxes (Finland levels), incur all the debts possible (to Japan's depths), recover all the loots and repatriations as far back as slave trade. If you have a spending and accountability problem like this financially sick in the head country. EVERYTHING will be wasted and the intended development will remain a mirage. Like someone was saying today. The easiest way to steal public resources is the veneer of service. Do the things the public badly needs even at a million times the cost and you will get away with it. As a matter of fact, you will be hailed and praised. That is why the social intervention programs have sprung the vilest cases of theft, followed closely by the almighty scams of public works, popularly known as infrastructure, where hyper inflated so called contracts are awarded, shoddily done and hopelessly supervised. |
Iamzik:Exactly. The cancer called 'contracting' and lately 'consultancy' will forever lead to deficit budgeting because it feeds an endless cycle of corruption and an insatiable need for more white elephant projects. It is a culture that has to change for this country to make it out of the economic doldrums. |
