Hello esteemed Nairalanders in the property and other sections:

Please I need your informed suggestions on the best areas within Lagos where I can currently get a half plot of land for 15 - 25million Naira. I am particularly looking at areas with the following features:

- Great Security (very low armed robbery incidence rates, low concentration of louts)
- Decent phcn power (at least 10 - 15hours daily)
- Nearness to social facilities like shopping malls, supermarkets, nice relaxation spots etc
- Non-swampy or prone to flooding

The areas I'm considering that fit the above requirements are Ogudu, Ogba, Isheri-Olowora axis, Ikate, Argungi or any area on the island not beyond Chevron.

Please advise whether and where I can get a half plot of land within the stated budget in these areas or any other area in Lagos that you know is also suitable. Note that Ibafo-Mowe (distance), OPIC estate (flooding), Ikorodu, Iyana-Ipaja/Egbeda/Alimosho (distance), Lagos Island (louts), Ajah (poor security and distance), Agege/Iju/Agbado/Abule-egba axis (poor roads and louts) are out of my consideration due to the various factors already highlighted.

How far did they call you for any interview and how was it?

Wow been looking for a thread on this....Might not be able to make it. Would have preferred the CBT to be online from your respective location. So that interview and others can be attended later. I'm not comfortable with the idea of going all the way to PH City for aptitude test that's a CBT.

Poster it's not BEDCs power transformer. It's Transmissions company of Nigeria's Power Transformer in Benin that caught fire. BEDC was there to assist in putting off the flames. Now this has affected transmission capacity Nationwide

There's a chance your Rhesus factor is the same and that affects or one or both of you have the AC genotype. Please consult medical experts and do something because this isn't a case of cannot conceive but she does and it's a miscarriage I believe it's a medical issue

Now here a couple of things that can help you based on experience...
1. Did your Landlady pay for the meters through the genuine process, does she have documents (Bank teller) showing amount and nos of meters payed for? If so head to the nearest Office with copies of documents and request to see New service officer and tender your documents....8/10 chances are the meters are ready and probably phone nos supplied as at time of application is not reachable.
2. Now also confirm if it's not that she gave one "NEPAMAN" Soso and soso amount of money because he is a Nepaman! So if this is the case contact "NEPAMAN" and ask what is happening since u have not seen meter
Also as for the 7 months outage...Sorry bros e dey pain Wella!
3. But for the payment it's not extortion, it's actually the standard since the service unit stamp will be on it with the Cashier's signature. It's admissible anywhere.
So bro try and confirm situation of things first from the office, so you know what next to do. 80 if not 100% of meters payed for over a year ago have been delivered and installed. There's a NERC regulation on metering that ensures DISCOs meter within 45 days customer makes payment.

Bros you are being irrational...because your landlady applied for Prepaid meter you think that's ground for you to use energy free? Why didn't your Landlady wait till the meters arrived before connecting? They have told you it's loss of revenue with receipt and stamp.
Yes it not showing any account nos because they do not want to open a bill for you, in which case you will receive estimated bills which are normally on the high side.
Now if you go to NERC you will so loose the case and forced to make payment to the Disco and they can at the moment even arrest or take legal action against you.
You applied for a meter is different from meter has been delivered and INSTALLED, please emphasis on caps.
Nigerians we think everyone in these DISCOs don't know what they do are doing?
My friend that #3000 is the barest minimum for loss of Revenue, if you like don't pay. As long as a document carrying the DiSco name and logo plus stamp and authorized signature you are good to go. Please dont Wait till they disconnect your street because of you guys.

please before any one starts saying anything, understand some terms, Eligible customers and Large Power Users, so dont think with your Prepaid Single phase meter you wont utilize the disco?
in other news it just spells doom for the discos and more woos on the customers, LPUs make up for about 70% of discos revenue, take that away and wow you have a major hole in revenue which will be transferred to non LPU's (residential and commercial).

Notore is the biggest fertilizer producer and distributor in subsaharan Africa...They have a 25 Megawatt Generating plant which is used for all their operations and also given to their estate Notore gardens in onne. Questions are standard o level science questions. We had our test at Navy base in onne.
If successful u are invited for interview.

Hahahaha OK I obviously knew this would come, luckily I don't work here anymore but I do miss the company *smiles* They know how to party! .. . I don't know about now but when I was there about a year ago to start a Graduate well let's say 70k to 110k. For a start and it builds up based on performance evaluation. You move in steps. It maybe different now... I mean the pay. But that's the startup, I know It can't be less. I wasn't a quality control person but as a trainee I worked in that dept for a month the usual rotation thing.
Prep well, I don't know how the test is like for quality control but do well to know much about storage of Aviation fuel, various tests you need to carry on aviation fuel aka JET A1, And read up on general stuff. My time was gmat and Co but they stopped later on to start using industry related knowledge. Like I said I wasn't in Qc dept don't know how their questions would be like. The little I know I have let all out.
Oh and Cleanserve has depots in Lagos, Abuja, Porthacourt and Yola, so it's possible it's not only Lagos you may be given the option to move to a location closest to you. It's a good coy, if you don't have a job or anything doing... you get to learn alot here. I certainly did I advise you all to go for it, get your little experience and move when the time arises....

Cleanserve CIES is a genuine company it's an aviation service firm that's into aviation fuel, meaning they fuel aircrafts. As a quality control person you would be involved in running tests on sample of product received from the vessel and sending product sample to 3rd party laboratories for confirmation of results as this is also an IATA standard. You will also Carry out tasks to ensure quality is maintained in the Tank Farm and Operations go accordingly. It's a good company, worked there immediately after nysc for 2yrs. Pls also be ready to work shifts.

They are a good consulting firm probably one of the few remaining ones.... Please go for the interview, know your cv, know alot about what you studied. I had mine there in 2012 and it was good, we were like 6 scheduled for the interview but in the end I was the only one that got to meet the client from my batch. Immediately I was through he told me to see the secretary to get the address and appointment of their client. It was awesome. So please go they are NOT Gnld or whatever. Wish you all the best man. For others too please don't waste an opportunity doubting theses guys they are real and their clients are above average.
