But this time, there's a guideline within his religious fealty on how individuals can follow God and live a purposeful life.

Those who see God have an "easy" way of navigating the world because the uncertainty of the universe & the future has been placed on the altar of God. So, their movement from there doesn't seem like trial and error, yet still need to have a strong faith to achieve their desires.

Humans don't know the mind of the universe.

Even religious adherents don't know the mind of God, however, they develop their faith and religious principles to make them align with the mind of God.

Meanwhile, it's all trial and error to make a meaningful & purposeful life.
