Goodmorning all, i applied with my son at the spanish embassy. My passport was returned wiith refusal note saying(Justification for purpose and conditions of intended stay was not provided). However they are yet to return my son’s own, its still showing processing at mission.I provided all documents with over 4m SOA.i just tire for dos ppl.i am still awaiting my son’s passport so we can look elsewhere

I called them at midnight concerning my husband's application. I mentioned that 15 days had elapsed and all she told me was that a decision has been made and he'll be contacted soon for his passport.

Your visa application is still currently being processed and there has been considerable progress with your case. I have escalated this to the appropriate entry clearance officer. This means you will receive your visa decision and passport as soon as possible.

If you require your passport and/or documents back immediately for travel or emergency, you are free to withdraw by making a request via the Visits.UKCustomerEnquiries@fco.gov.uk email. Please note however that this will cancel the application and we will be unable to refund you.

Hello, please I need to know how to apply for a Schengen transit visit. I want to use KLM to travel to the UK and it looks like KLM have changed their rules as the UK is no longer part of the EU.

Is it the same requirements as applying for a visit visa? How long does it take, etc? Thanks.

It appears like the majority of the folks here are sending paid emails. Is it possible to increase your chances of getting your visa approved or to speed up the application process by sending paid mails?

I did my biometrics Oct 19. I am a frequent traveller and till today no decision has been made. I've called their number several times and they say they have a backlog. However a friend of mine did her biometrics on Nov 4, same 5 years visit visa and today she received an email to pick up her passport tomorrow. This is well within 15 working days. We both did our biometrics at TLS VI, Lagos.

It's ridiculous, no word on when my passport will be ready and I have a work trip in South Africa in two weeks.

Collection mail just dropped. Biometrics was on 1st Nov. (standard application) I will update the house on my timeline later.

Hello,
I am super sad as this my first time applying to UK, I did my biometric 29th of October and I got a refusal mail on the 2nd of Novemeber(priority).
However i feel upset as the consuler did not go through my supporting document infact he made a mistake in his explanation.I clearly stated that I was going to spend 1,200,000 for my trip and in his response he wrote 2,000,000 which I clearly and obviously dint write.I also stated that my husband was going to support with 1m which he transferred to my account and he attached a letter with his signature and stamp.
I also attached my salary account as well as piggyvest and investment account.
I would like to know the next step to take as I even typing this I am yet to get a collection mail from Tls.
I would like for the critics to help look at my information and let me know where i went wrong.

If you are living in the UK there won't be need to argue about it. The UK grocery market caters for all class, food is basic and luxury at the same time. The foods purchased at Tesco has same quality control with the foods at Waitrose.

A 500ml bottle of water costs £3 at M&S while 1 litre bottle of water (double the size ) costs 0.25 at Asda.
Nobody and I mean nobody can survive on a £150 per month in the UK. Even if you eat £1 worth of meals a day. When there’s rent, electricity, transport and phone bills at the minimum to be paid. The UK is very expensive

The Embassy is now something else, the way they handle B1B2 visa applicants is wack and makes no sense, they issue visa base on your profile filled, composure and the VO present mood.

No intense scrutiny of documents.

Reapply and be positive.....

Just be hopeful you are directed to a calm VO who will listen to the reason why you need the visa.

2 past refusal has no effect on your new application, since you didn't abuse any of your past visas.

I was trying to benchmark it with Stanbic MMF that does 100% fixed income. I noticed that Stanbic MMF does not have a guaranteed rate like VGIF.
