Family / Re: If Your Partner Slaps You In Public by relaxbeauty: 10:34am On Oct 24, 2012
slimchi2k2: how on earth ur partner we raise hand and slap u just like that in public
if your partner humiliates you by slapping you in public
tell us the story,so we can know what to say

i think it is a terrible thing if a partner slaps one in public...that is a sign of gross indiscipline!! i mean the person doesn't even have the patience to go to a private place and speak his mind...it's crazy!!!
Family / Re: Should Parents Apologise If They Punish Their Children Wrongly by relaxbeauty: 10:23am On Oct 24, 2012
When parents punish in error they SHOULD apologise!!!! i think it is a good practice and a child would also in turn learn how to apologise when they do things in error without people telling them to apologise....if we don't carry out the culture of saying sorry when we err our nation will be in one which breeds insensitive people

eddy1977: Simple question of morality. Keep your word to the deceased friend. He didn't work hard and save money for your son.you should learn from him and work extra hard to save money for your son.

Family / Re: Our Kids And Modern Cartoons. by relaxbeauty: 3:37pm On Oct 16, 2012
kids don't notice the details in those pictures. they weren't meant to look like that in the first place. it is the figment of imagination of certain individuals that brings them to children's notice. there is absolutely nothing to worry about in kids watching Lion King.

I don't think Family Guy is a cartoon children under 13 should watch, even though we may think it's funny.
Family / Re: Parental Guide: Bringing Up A Child by relaxbeauty: 4:38pm On Oct 14, 2012
hami321: Hello Guys,Every one know that the family is the single most important influence in a child's life. From their first moments of life, children depend on parents and family to protect them and provide for their needs. Parents and family form a child's first relationships. They are a child's first teachers and act as role models in how to act and how to experience the world around them. Every parent knows that it's sometimes difficult to do this important work without help, support, and additional resources.

excellent statement!!! parents should always try to establish a good relationship with the children and stop all bad habits because children also get influenced by what they see their parents do.
Family / Re: How Do You Punish Your Children? by relaxbeauty: 4:12pm On Oct 14, 2012
when punishing children it is important to make them understand the purpose of the punishment. there is no use punishing a child without making them understand..they're just going to repeat the same mistake. 'rod' doesn't necessarily mean 'stick' or 'cane'. it could mean a good scolding, detention, or time-out as well. a parent can also deprive them of something they like.
Family / Re: Our Kids And Modern Cartoons. by relaxbeauty: 3:58pm On Oct 14, 2012
Mynd_44: Cartoons having intimate content? Please give examples.
Cartoons have always been violent (at least a lot of them) consider Tom and Jerry, Bugs and Daffy, and a lot of others

I don't think kids notice anything extraordinary in Tom chasing Jerry around and Jerry hitting Tom with various objects. It just depicts how cats and mice don't get along. The violence that one may see in Batman or Superman cartoons just shows the supremacy of good over evil. Children wouldn't take notice of the violence unless they're told that they have to take notice of it. It also depends on whether or not parents actually caution their kids about the use of violence and also the significance of cartoons in the children's lives. Parents are meant to spend time watching cartoons with their children and monitor what exactly they watch. They shouldn't use them as mere childminders, remember cartoons and everything else we watch on tv convey messages and parents play very important roles in bringing out these messages and making their children relate with them.

Romance / Re: Buy Me A Car Or Forget Wedding, Says Bride by relaxbeauty: 11:01am On Oct 12, 2012
That woman must be very greedy. It shows that she must've had other ulterior motives. Why would a car be a prerequisite to marriage? Are you marrying the man or the car? It's not difficult to imagine what it would've looked like if they had married!

Celebrities / Re: Donald Trump Lambast Chris Brown Over Rihanna by relaxbeauty: 10:53am On Oct 12, 2012
Probably Trump made that statement out of sentiments...if Rihanna wants to get back together with Chris Brown after all that has happened between them it her business and her choice. It doesn't mean that Chris Brown may do the same thing again. Maybe he has changed. :\

Good Day!

it is actually good to shape a baby's head but one should do so carefully and without too much force because the bones of a baby are still soft.

Shea butter might clog your pores. Can you go to a skin doctor? You might need something more powerful.

shea butter might clog your pores only if you apply too much of it on your face. you only have to apply a little. the overall aim of applying shea butter is to combat dryness and irritation that you might have been suffering from. it makes your skin smooth.

it's good to buy good things for the children but it is more important to teach them how to appreciate what we buy for them. if we don't teach them this, there may be adverse effects in the future.
Fashion / Re: Safe Skin Brightening Tips, Please!!!! by relaxbeauty: 9:33am On Oct 10, 2012
well going natural is a better option. try applying lime juice in the evening for 20-30 minutes then wash it off. milk also acts as a good cleanser and lightening agent.

applying lime every evening and leaving it for 20-30 minutes and washing it off works well! apply shea butter afterwards.
