mejai:. Scan for what?? I have an oxygen sensor code, Nothing else. Im not saying the car is problematic. |
scoobyblogspot:Honestly.. Before 5k fuel will take me to the office 4 times a week. Sometimes I give free lift, so that weight adds to the fuel consumption. |
int0x80:Yeah |
Judolisco:What's your total mileage? |
Odjirigho:I get it. My question now is 85miles for an empty tank or when the reserve comes on. To do this test I bought 16ltrs and my reserve turned on at 47miles. Now I'm at 51m. It'll get to 60m when I get back home. I don't know how long it'll take to empty out, so i don't know how many l/km to peg it at yet. Also, my fuel pump was serviced so some fuel was wasted. |
Conner44:No wonder.. High time i fix that oxygen sensor. I'll do more research on open loop systems. Thanks. |
highchief1:;Dthank you bro. I do not have an issue with fueling, what I want to understand is how the calculations work. Knowledge is power. |
Ambbayo:Thanks Bro, the way fuel just evaporates these days. |
I drive an accord type 6 2006. 4 cycl. This Monday I bought a fuel worth 10k, about 16ltrs, after driving about 25km while the reserve light was on, thus, I've eaten deep into the reserve. I have driven to the office thrice and now on my odometer, I have a reading of 47miles when my reserve light came on. If I calculate by this, it means I have done 75.6km, there are no heavy traffic on my route, so IMO this is a very high mileage. I'm pretty sure the car will still take me back home and back to the office again which is a total of 38km, My car is on an open loop system. My question is, do you calculate your fuel consumption like this or you do your maths when your tank is completely empty? |
You saw your neighbour bathing his wife?? |
DUNKA:The one at berger. I'm not aware of the current price. Are you interested ? |
May this new gas price favour me and my generations to come.. ![]() |
vivalavida:I've scanned, no code. |
I'm encountering difficulties with my 2003 Honda Accord Euro. When I park the car for a long period or start it in the morning, it struggles to reverse or climb steep hills. Sometimes, it even turns off while attempting to climb, but if I immediately turn it back on, it manages to climb the hill. I've already cleaned the throttle body, and the spark plugs are relatively new, although I'm unsure about their quality. Despite recently changing the fuel pump, which helped for a while, I've started noticing the problem again within three months. When I clean the fuel pump housing, I often find debris, indicating dirty fuel. It's frustrating because when I join the road from a bend, the car has trouble accelerating unless I restart it. I have a 2003 Honda Accord Euro. What steps should I take to address these issues? |
slimjohn2k5:Thanks for your insight. |
What would you do if a very good employee, in this case a Coder, wants to resign.. |
Igemburg:Have you noticed the check engine light blink while driving? You may not get a code when you scan after you might have turned off your engine because the code isn't permanent yet. you have to scan while driving/before turning off your engine the moment you notice those symptoms. Typing from experience. |
Kingstel:If he does, say goodbye to your transmission. |
marcodene2:I experienced this with my 06, might be a damaged inner cup on one or both of the wheels... Also check your spark plugs and coils. |
Olunonso:I guess.. Firestick is a dongle. Should work on any TV. |
Kingstel:Use DW1 or total MLVL, both are expensive though. |
I have been experiencing a weird issue for some weeks now, it all started when I had an electrical issue where my car refused to start because of a blown fuse or wiringcconnection that affected my fuel pump and the fuel pump wasn't supplying fuel. Days after, my radio turns off whenever I turn on my headlight, sometimes the car goes off when wiper, headlight and radio are all turned on..but whenever I'm on top speed, everything works fine until I'm I'm traffic or slow down. I thought it was what my rewire did but after several attempts to fix this we haven't been able to. I decided to test my alternator. I was driving yesterday and I turned on everything but it was all smooth, I parked and measured the voltage on the battery and it was about 13.7v which is still low in my opinion but better. After restarting the car, I started experiencing it again, I did another test, the battery's voltage was about 12.3v while engine was running with just the radio on which means the alternator isn't charging the battery well. What could cause this? Is my alternator faulty since this happens spontaneously. I've tightened the leads on the battery. My car is honda accord 2006, Type s. Thanks. |
CrownedPhoenix:Pretty sure I got the original. That man sells original oil even Dw1. A lot of sellers out there sell fake oil. |
CrownedPhoenix:Hello, yes I did.. I used it for my car about 3 months ago. Got it for 33k in Gudu Abuja.k Modified: Not at their station.. |
Conner44:D light has never blinked. I'll try to get an high end scanner. Thanks from your time... I cleaned the shift solenoid on Friday. |
Conner44: |
Conner44:Thank you so much. I don't have any shifting issues, car shifts up and down fine.. There's just this occasion high rev when it wants to shift sometimes. I'll try to replace the transmission mount. 2 months AGO, I replaced the dirty fluid with total MVLV. |
I'm experiencing some car issues and would appreciate some assistance. I enjoy DIY work, but I also have a mechanic friend who helps me when he's available. Firstly, my car has rough idling and occasionally stalls when it rains. It seems like water affects the circuitry due to a previous leak at the top of the windscreen. Although I had the leak fixed, the job wasn't done thoroughly, so I need to return to address the issue. I've scanned the car, but there are no error codes, and there are no misfires detected. Secondly, I'm still facing rough idling problems, particularly when I try to reverse, especially on higher ground. The car tends to stall, and I have to press the accelerator forcefully. The nozzles were recently serviced, and the spark plugs are less than three months old. Additionally, there's a thumping sound coming from the engine bay when the car shifts gears at slow speeds, especially in traffic. Despite replacing the rear engine mount, the issue persists. However, the gear shifting itself seems fine. As a bonus question, I'd like to know why my car revs high before shifting gears and sometimes lurches forward during the gear change. I would greatly appreciate recommendations and advice as I plan to meet my friend today for a joint diagnosis. Car details: Honda Accord 2003, Euro version, car was converted to left hand. The below screenshot is the mount below the battery. The rubber looks damaged. Can this cause the spontaneous thudding sound when shifting gear?
