Aigbofa:
Unconfirmed rumour? Of course he did. He also confiscated all Ibo properties in Nigeria and gave them to Yorubas. Froze all ibo assets in Nigeria, gave them to Yorubas and gave ibos only 50 cents each to buy guguru and epa for their garri.
The only place Ibos got their properties back after the war was Yorubaland. Up till today area, popularly called town, in Port Harcourt still lined with abandoned properties. people like Adeniran Ogunsanya ensured Ibos got all their properties in Lagos back, including Louis Ojukwu's house at in Ikoyi belonging to father of the warlord himself.

BusinessRe: Naira Drops to N200 To A US Dollar by Remii(m): 10:32am On Oct 09, 2011
Sanusi has always maintained that CBN alters interest rate to compensate for excessive govt spending. An economy the spends 75% of its budget on salaries and wages of politicians should not expect anything better.

NL Muslim Brothers and Sisters, do your best not to trade insults or hash words with non Muslims, as an Ibadul rahaman (those who do everything for Allah's sake alone) one of the qualities of as written in Quran Surah Furqan 25/63-76) is When the non believers address them (with bad words) they reply back with mild words of gentleness. ‘

State your facts, they do not have to take it, but when it is the fact your mind would be clear. You may even choose to ignore those with who just make provocative and baseless comments. As much as possible avoid insulting words even when replying to a comment with one. Afterall why engaging in cyber war of words with a faceless person you may never meet. Spend your adrenalin in a better way. May Allah help you as you make effort to increase your faith.

InvestmentRe: Shareholders Of Oceanic Bank Approve ETI Acquisition by Remii(m): 5:49pm On Sep 28, 2011
freezy:
Na wa o

1 ETI share equals 14 of Oceanic

With ETI shares currently hovering around 11 naira, the 2 million worth of Oceanic Shares I bought in 2006 shall subsequently (rough estimate/calculation) have a total value of about N90, 000.

Naija and its voodoonomics.

I guess it is better than losing all like PHB peeps and co. Omo once that money is realised, it shall be spent on frivolties . . . Big stout, peppersoup & co. Time to close a chapter in my life I would not want to remember forever.
Ol boy, we are lucky in Oceanic, those we have in Bank PhB are gone from N22 to N0.00
PoliticsRe: I am not a Lion, A General, Goliath, Pharaoh Or A King - GEJ by Remii(m): 12:50pm On Sep 26, 2011
“I just returned from the United Nations General Assembly in the US. (Barak) Obama, when he spoke, commended Nigeria, but back home we are being abused. When we had the Security Council meeting outside the General Assembly, Nigeria was commended, but here we are being abused.

“When the Presidents of South Africa, Gabon spoke they commended Nigeria but here we are not being appreciated. But what I can assure you is that Nigeria is on course and with your prayers and guidance of God, we will surely get to the destination we are going.”

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Someone should tell the President that he governs for Nigeria not to the admiration of the world.

However, I like to acknowledge improvement in power supply in my area. My diesel cost has reduced by much as 60% over the last three months. He should keep the tempo.
EventsRe: Sign The Petition:private Companies Do Not Employ Any Graduate Of Absu by Remii(m): 8:41am On Sep 24, 2011
^^^^^The issue is now out of the hands of the University or the State govt, since it has gone international and FGN is already responding with some findings, The act took place off campus so you can not hold school authority fully responsible for acts outside their domain.
However, they could have made informed comment not just jumping to conclusions.
What do you do to schools whose students have been arrested as armed robbers, yahoo yahoo boys and similar crimes?
EventsRe: Sign The Petition:private Companies Do Not Employ Any Graduate Of Absu by Remii(m): 8:02am On Sep 24, 2011
Do you have proof that the University trained them to rape. Do you have proof that only ABSU students rape in Nigeria. Why blaming all for sin of few. Culprits should be arrested and treated accordingly. There are saints and sinners in every society.

BusinessRe: Hyundai Denies Statement About Building A Shipyard In Bayelsa by Remii(m): 8:28am On Sep 17, 2011
PhysicsQED:
Embarrassing.

Multibillion dollar shipyard vs. small pipe making factory.
not necessarily small company, if it is to make small OD pipes, like tubings used for pipeline and oil production, it is still a big factory. However those briefing the president should  be explicit and be sure he understands what they are talking about before he goes to the press. he many so many other gaffes too like saying drilling does not generate employment after rig moves off.

So because Buhari told supporter to defend their votes, same statement Jega, Tinubu, Jonathan and many others politicians made before election, he is now the cause of the violence. This so called leaders sef, I wonder how much better they are than their followers.

UI alumni here should just get together and raise fund for the school, the stream that run through the zoological garden was so overfilled that it washed shed away the whole animals and fishes in the research pond. Hostels, especially Awolowo Hall aka Inalende were flooded too. I advise you visit the school next time you are at Ibadan.

Go the way of Gaddafi! Gold! All these paper monies needs to be backed up with gold or possibly cowries. When will humanity ever be free from the very few who feel they can control the world? I sense a great awakeing. Just a thought.
That may be dangerous oo. I can almost guarantee that as soon as that happened the West may want to change Naija govt immediately. Sadam did it he didn't last tat year, Gadaffi you know. Moving away from USD without good tactics may likely be treated as act of war by the US. Watch it, Libya may go back to USD very soon.

BusinessRe: FG Will Build A Second Niger Bridge - Dr Ngozi by Remii(m): 3:50pm On Aug 30, 2011
This bridge again, since Babangida time, promise after promise, na wa  for Naija.

The idea to construct a second Niger Bridge, according to reports, was first broached during the military government of General Ibrahim Babangida, almost 21 years ago, when it became obvious that the existing bridge, commissioned in January 1966, had become too old and thus, unable to carry the increasingly heavy traffic that flows primarily, from the South-East and South South to the South West geo-political zone of the country.
