Religion / Re: Can You Be A Christian And Still Be Gay? by RemKen: 11:20pm On Sep 02, 2013
Why limiting it to Christianity? I don't know of any religion with normal human sense that applauds gay, except someone has sold his/her soul to the devil, he/she cannot be boasting of been one. Its not religion alone, but a man who has not exchange his soul with something else won't consider it. As for your question OP, if you know WHO A CHRISTIAN is, you wouldn't ask this question but most people think a christian is someone who attends church.

Note that it doesn't matter how much the devil try, the world of God stands sure, what did Lot referred to as wickedness in Gen. 19:7? Lev.18:22-24 means what? Judges 19:23, an old man called the act wickedness. There were gays even before Jesus was born and they were not looking for recognition through the church. Imagine gays/lesbians looking for children to adopt? What a contradiction? If everyone is gay/lesbian where will the children come from?

Now to new testament, what can a gay say about Romans 1:18-32? 1 Cor.6:9-11, 1Tim 1:8-10 and even Jude 7 made reference to sexual perversion of Sodom and Gomorrah? pls look elsewhere to justify your evil act.

@monkeyleg, don't bother explaining anything to anybody. alot of deltans are here watching, when you post wrong or misleading information we will talk, but for now, ALL your post are 100% correct and same with what we have heard on our local radio staion or witnessed.

I'm in Delta and can confirm that all reported cases of ballot boxes snatching had been reported on Live Radio Programme anchored by Edward Apati Ogude  on Delta Broadcasting Cor. Asaba, and INEC REO as well as Police Comm fully informed. All deltans are expecting these and everyone that stands for truth all over Nigeria will not be surprised at all, the almighty ruling party doing whatsoever it takes to keep themselves in power. Those that are yet to taste the BITTER PILL called PDP, pray that you will never have to.
Politics / Re: Did Anyone See Sanusi & Aganga On Tv Answering Furious Senators? by RemKen: 1:15am On Dec 03, 2010
NASS summoned Sanusi because they thought he will come and eat his words like dog eating its vomit and score another point like they have been doing against cowards since they see themselves as the ALL IN ALL BOSS of Nigeria who hires and fires has it pleases him. IF you hear these people talk among themselves, you will think they own nigeria. Let me repeat what I said sometimes ago that attracted insults from people that didn't know but think they know, IF YOU SEE THE ACTUAL/REAL Figure, nigerians will burn them alive (the cartoon above said it ALL).

If the guy running(computer based) or preparing(manual) their payroll reads this thread, he will just be laughing. I don't know how but I sincerely believe something has to be done. I cannot say much here because it's a public forum, but I sincerely pray our eyes become opened.

Rossike might gave wrong impression when he started (may be we need to look beyond ordinary TEXT sometimes and look deep - FIGURES OF SPEECH), but from some of his contributions, I know very well he's burning within because he knows. Although NOT ALL, but most nigerians are REAL TIME contributors to the problem, funning enough, it's still the same people that will solve it. May be we should stop abusing ourselves and start making suggestions of what to do.

YORUBA'S are very very irresponsible, so irresponsible. Infact i lack the grammatical word to use and qualify then. A Niger Delta man will never do this, never ever i dont know of the igbos or hausa's

i don't know where ytou are from, but your comment shows you to be in the same world of the person you accussed. I was in Uyo (ND state) two months ago and there was a case of a man who impreginated his daughter, two weeks a case like that was reported of a Cross River state man. I presently reside in Delta State (ND) and this cannot be News to most people. Why are we like this? We all know that most of the vices we accuse ourselves of are been perpetrated even by our close relatives and we come here to vomit rubish. I have the priviledge of knowing little about all major tribes in nigeria and can boldly say that we have little differences from each other.
Politics / Re: Pdp Never Zoned Presidency -jonathan by RemKen: 12:42pm On Sep 29, 2010
@na so

call my post any name you like, your questions show clearly you know nothing about nigeria politics, zoning is everywhere for as much as I know, if I’m wrong then give us examples of previous office holders from any state where such arrangement (atleast for PDP) was not respected while handing over to another person. Infact, sometime I wonder if there are primary school pupils here (you asked someone else about zoning duration which I said is a good reason why GJ can contest since it’s not stated in the constitution). I didn’t against nor support GEJ in my post and wouldn’t know why you are questioning my opinion. From what I said, Jonathan is free to contest and probably win but is not proper for him to say zoning comes after election, how can you believe such thing? I will be the most stupid person on earth to believe such statement no matter who said it. I always stand for truth even if it hurts me, that’s the difference between us.
Politics / Re: Pdp Never Zoned Presidency -jonathan by RemKen: 11:25am On Sep 29, 2010
According to Jonahan, in 2001 constitution, Article 7(2)(c) said: “In pursuance of the principles of equity, justice and fairness, the party shall adhere to the policy of rotation and zoning of party and public elective offices and it shall be enforced by the appropriate executive committee at all levels, from councillor to presidency.”

I’m not a lawyer, but according to GEJ, policy of rotation is to be adhere to for PARTY and PUBLIC ELECTIVE OFFICES, and to the best of my knowledge, the office of the president is an elective office, not by appointment and he said it was included in the consititution, so what is he now saying that it comes up after election? Please correct me if my interpretation is wrong…,

GEJ shouldn’t have interpret zoning as an after effect of elections because that does not make any sense to people who can see beyond their noses but rather defend his ambition as not against the zoning arrangement of the party since it was not stated in the consititution how many years will a zone hold on to power and no nigeria law stipulated that a president MUST rule for two terms of 4 yrs each (that means not assumed), it only says CANNOT rule for more than two terms. Therefore, GEJ can base his argument on the fact that the presidency can come to the SOUTH (which ever one) now since it was the north that got it last time and other electives offices zoned accordingly, this will be better than turning things upsidedown and some people are applauding him.

My one cent advice for nigerians, wait for parties to present their candidates and then VOTE for your candidate of choice, your abusive words or any manner of insult cannot make any one accept your argument, IF YOU DON’T KNOW, NO ONE WINS AN ARGUMENT!!!! The ONLY way to win IS NOT TO START IT!!!
God bless Nigeria….

Health / Are Nurses On Strike Nationwide? by RemKen: 2:58pm On Aug 02, 2010
Can somebody please help me confirm if nurses are on strike nation wide? My wife went to hospital today only to be told nurses are on strike and the doctors who are just resuming from God knows how many months strike said they can't attend to PREGNANT Women without Nurses?

If this is true, then these people are something else in Nigeria or how can they start their strike immediately after Doctors just returned?

Although I spend average of about eight hours a week reading many of our contributions on nairaland but I hardly contribute because of the way we trivialise serious issues and many people arguing blindly. 90m as a budget for 9000 staff for a year is not much, but do you ask how many people work in NDDC? My company gave me a gift of a hundred thousand naira during my wedding and therefore don't think civil servants shouldn't enjoy same but the problem is over bloated budget. Anyway, what I want everybody to know is that THE DAY NIGERIANS GET TO KNOW HOW THESE PEOPLE SPEND OUR MONEY WITH TAILS OF SORROW, TEARS AND BLOOD, there will dead bodies all over the major streets in Nigeria. Some people that know will understand my statement. Until then, I rest my case,

May be we have various categories of states in nigeria, anyway, in 30 days, my area enjoy less than 10hrs (gone for almost two months now), inside the main town where I have my office and church, the supply has gone down more than 40% of what it used to be, meanwhile, for those of us that know Asaba in Delta State( that's where I'm reporting from), the other side of the town- we call it ACROSS,  enjoys light for average of 18 to 20hrs per day, but it's not an improvement but what has been for about two years now.  -

I congratulate those of you enjoying now, hope to join you soon,

Car Talk / Re: Brand New Kia Cerato Vs Used Japanese by RemKen: 2:36am On Mar 05, 2010
Pls let’s stop baseless arguments and try and understand things the right way. I saw a Nissan Pathfinder 2005 ad here for 3.2ml(asking price ooo) and became seriously mad at my boss all again for given me 2009 KIA Spotage last December instead of 2005 Nissan Pathfinder I preferred, there is no basis for comparison at all.
Many of you don’t even know the only good reason to go for KIA over a toks car, it was the reason why my boss insisted i get the KIA. If you are going to be travelling with your car, most especially through Edo/Delta states and East axis, I WILL PLEAD WITH YOU TO BUY NEW KIA whatever so you can drive pass all these yeye police on the road, that is if you cannot afford NEW Toyota/Honda atleast.

I’m looking for a fairly used car to buy now and that’s why I came across this thread but WILL NEVER stop to check anything like KIA even if its N500K and 2008 model, remember, I have a new brand 2009 KIA spotage but would have prefer 2005 Nissan Pathfinder toks.

The car is nice for its price(at the time – 3.15mil) but the stability, power, ruggedness are just NOT there, and most annoying is all PLASTIC interior, in fact, my small knows what comfort is.

I know that if a few PRO KIA cars campaigners will try any of Toyota/Honda of same year with KIA (2009 vs 2009 for example), they will return their KIA and go for DIRECT toks of about 3-4 yrs older.
And note, I don’t need to visit any mechanic if i were to be given my beloved 2005 Nissan Pathfinder than i do with KIA – servicing ONLY for now, i’m a travelling guru becos of my work sa
Family / Re: Infidelity In A New Marriage by RemKen: 10:34am On Jan 13, 2010
Babyboy26,
You have not done anything out of the ordinary for coming here seeking advice, to very young people who are yet to see and know what is call LIFE, or those growing adults who have been lucky all the way, they will think your story is lie or that you could have handled it without coming here.
Anyway, they are partially right, but for a man/woman that has seen life in its true colour(age has nothing to do with this please), he/she will actually advice you based on their experiences (personal or otherwise). There are very good and sound posts here, it's left to you to actually sieve and take the one you think is best for you. For those doubting the story, there is more to LIFE than eyes can see, there are other REAL ones you will never believe if you were told except you witness it, there is no story that is too good to be true.
For some of us that feel he should have done it without coming here, we are also right but his seeking our godly help is not completely wrong, someone else may be having the same experience, some years ago, I read a girl's story in the news paper, the first thing i thought was that the story was that of my very close friend( a girl) referring to me as the man in her story, but on a second taught, I decided to respond to her story by sending an email to her. She replied me after about a month and few days that my advice worked as if I knew the two of them, the truth is that her story was just like mine and therefore I was able to give her what will help her.
Babyboy26, i wish i can speak to you directly may be via your email to avoid distraction.  My advice to you, don't make any conclusion until you have REAL evidence, my wife will not ask for sex in a month if I don't make the move and she's not cheating on me but your case may be different, you should know the girl you marry. If she's one you know cannot do without such thing in a period of time, then that should be a concern to you.
No matter what your findings may be, please be ready to forgive her. If you are a xtian, read Malachi 2:16, but if you are not still read it and see the mind of God about divorce, I hope your wife will be ready too to change and know that she’s now married.

God bless you!
Romance / Re: Slept With 83 People by RemKen: 3:17pm On Dec 23, 2009
I think we should have a way of handling issues like these, cases like this one must be seen as a possibility and addressed as such, let the comedians among us always indicate their contributions are just jokes.
This is something we (with one of my colleagues) talked about in my oga's hotel room this morning. These girls want to sleep in hotels their parents can never afford, carry Nokia E and N series phones together and eat like there is no tomorrow. From what I have seen, 83 should be a very small number if some of these girls/ladies will be frank and tell the truth, they may not be able to say precisely how many men they have slept with, but may be able to tell us on the average.
Some of these girls even know how to deal with their menstrual flow so that it does not deprived them of a good weekend with men older than their fathers.
I have been working in my office for about six years now and must have seen about 30 different girls with someone in the office, he has been in the business for more than ten year, can you imagine how many girls he had slept with? Many of us because of today have lost our sense of decency, and will do anything to get money.
To a fifteen year old boy/girl, that figure may be outrageous but to some of us that have seen, it's like the smallest you can get.
You are free to make comments, but i want you to know that till today I’m typing this stuff, I never slept with two ladies but my wife only and I’m in my late 30s, not thinking of becoming loose but believe God can keep me till I breathe my last breath
Autos / Re: Car Dealers: Ogun State Police Check Point. My Little Experience? by RemKen: 3:57pm On Dec 02, 2009
Thank your star you were not heading towards Onitsha, you would have changed your mind about ogun state black men as been the hardest. THE WORST OF ALL ARE THOSE BETWEEN BENIN AND ASABA, that's my road. If you want to save your head from those ogun guys, then you will have to buy a little more fuel, take your journey straight to Ibadan, then follow Ife/Ilesha to Akure/Owo and sraight to Benin.

This is the analysis:
Those police men between Ibadan and Ife can be troublesome a little, but they don't get to the road till around 9am, infact, if you take off early, you can get to Akure without seen a single police man on the road (like getting to Akure b4 10am). Because of the problem of identity, the police men on that road are usually cautious, before they enter into trouble of Abuja men. Immediately you enter Edo state, then the trouble begins.

Don't shout too much, your journey to benin through Akure will take about 90km extra but it worth it, you wouldn't waste time on the road (just a little more litres of fuel) and you are likely to get to benin spending less than N2000 riding on a fairly good road (for naija ooo) . From benin, bros, you are on your own because these police must disturb you and they are always there.

Our internet consultant entered benin 1:45pm, and got to Asaba after 7pm about two weeks ago, when I brought my car  to Asaba about 2yrs ago, I entered Edo state from Akure end around 12 noon, spent just N500 to get to Benin but got to Asaba around 1am courtesy these black men, i spent around N1000 from benin to Asaba.

Friends, my question are:
1. How long will these nuisance remain on our roads stealing? sad
2. Is it possible for US to send them out of the roads? undecided
3. If yes, what are the probable ways to that? angry
Business / Re: I Need Nnpc Allocation by RemKen: 12:31pm On Aug 21, 2009
I wanted to ignore your message but on a second thought I decided to lend you my small coin incase you are not what I think. If you are ignorance of what you are talking about then read on ELSE pls this is not for you,

Why did I say you are ignorance? because you can never get NNPC ALLOCATION URGENTLY, pls don'tlet anyone deceive you EXCEPT IF THAT PERSON can TAKE YOU TO EITHER the President, Senat President or NNPC group manager and at that don't expect ALLOCATION, that's to your own COMPANY which you can LOAD from designated PPMC Depot URGENTLY

If you are truely interested in NNPC allocation let me know where your business is located and what you realy want and I will tell you if I can help you. I beg you in the name of God, please don't respond to my post if you are NOT REAL, my prayer is that this kind of statement wouldn't be necessary again in Nigeria no matter who, how and where you are meeting people, God bless you,
