You can braid your hair if you want to and if you are sure it suits you.There are guys who do it and look really cool and others you wonder if they have a mirror.Its not exactly accepted in the African society,but it depends on what you want.It is attributed to being irresponsible,but i suppose it needn't make you less responsible than guyz who cut their hair.So it depends on whether you give a damn about what people think or not.

I have a REALLY strong feeling this Reverend is one of the prophets talked about in Matt 24:11 which goes "And many FALSE prophets will arise and lead many astray"First it was masturbation now its cannabis.You just want an excuse to sin and just so you dont go down alone u had to drag people along with you.The idea of your "kinky church" is as weird,bizzare,eccentric,sexually abnormal and perverse as the word kinky means.May God help us o,the end time sure is near.Meanwhile may God bless Bari_kade and Choice A for all their posts,they have said it all.At least the impact of your perverse doctrines on Nairaland will be reduced greatly.Now its Jesus took cannabis,i wonder what will come next from the Kinky Reverend.

We can truly forgive.It may also be able to truly forget depending on the meaning of forget we are looking at.Forget could mean losing the facts from the mind,unable to recall.Now unless you have amnesia this would be hard.Forget could also mean to overlook intentionally,this would pretty much be easy to do.

Bettyboop i really understand how u feel.When i got to the religion forum i was shocked when i read some of the posts.For starters,it hadnt ever occurred to me that there were that many people who didn't believe in God.But i don't know about the agenda faith thing cos its a forum,a public and open discussion and its expected that people will express their opinions passionately.What can be done for the young impressionable minds is for you to stress the existence of God as much or even more than the atheist do.So you can actually help them by making them no God exists and why.U really don't need to leave.Besides i think if we were thinking of the agenda faith thing,then i expect people of other religions outside christianity and Islam,and who are not atheist should have a bone to pick.

If its very glaring that the pastor is up to no good well, the committee in charge needs to get his ass out.If its his own church and no one can get him out then i'll get myself out of that church.

If am among the committee in church and we can determine what should be done to such a pastor then all the necessary action will be taken.But as a member who just goes to church to worship God,give my tithe and offering and then leave.I cant go and ask what they used my money for.I cant assume everytime the pastor buys a new jeep then it must be from the offering.Most pastors have another job and business.So i give my tithe and offering and expect they use it for God's work if they don't they have God to answer to.

@Reba,its been a while i read the paper so i don't remember the details.It was said there was an ongoing hard feelings between the two of them,which was made obvious from the comments from the two of them during seperate interviews.Genny said the problem is she is refusing to accept she's good at what she does.Then they were up against each other for face of lux and Genny won,but Omotola didnt take it well and questioned the parameters used to determine the winner.I just wish i still had the newspaper.Anyway its possible they have settled their differences.Now they both have albums out and i hope its not about the i-can-do-it-better thing.They are both unique though.

Very true!Just give the money and leave the pastor to God and his conscience.A pastor should know better than to mess with God when the consequence comes he'll have himself to blame.

It would be a great dishonour to my parents memory.What would i tell my kids when they ask about their grandparents?As far as am concerned what goes around comes around.I don't want to be a part of the inevitably boomerang or when our son shoots his girlfriend's parent unknowingly.I might even get him arrested,he has to pay some way.

If she doesn't know how to cook but would love to,then she can learn.If she is not simply interested out of lack of knowing how to cook or sheer hatred for the art then you have to decide whether you can live with her lack of cooking skillz.If u cant there's no point in marrying her.Knowing how to cook isn't that big-a-deal,its fun.Every1[man or woman]should know how to cook,even if its just for your sake alone.

About your boyfriend,it's a sort of dilemma because you love each other and sure won't want to give that up.You would also want your parents consent which they don't want to give.I wonder what the reason is and if its justifiable.You need to pray for God's will to prevail.Talk to your boyfriend about your desire to renew your salvation and the need to avoid sin.In the end,if you are meant for each other it would work out

God is mercifull and he's always willing to take us back.You have to stop condemning yourself because God doesnt condemn you.Its like the case of the one lost sheep he will leave 99 others to look for.With that in mind,renew your faith and salvation.Its going to be a fresh chapter in your life and pray for the grace to keep away from sin and to subdue temptation.
