I think altar call is nothing but church doctrine which has nothing to do with salvation. In fact, it's no longer helping the ministry because a lot of persons especially the backsliders are always ashamed to step out. So, I think there is no relationship btw salvation and altar calls.

why should a back slider step out again after once receiving salvation? If you are a backslider, it means at some point you received Christ and believed in Him, so you have been born again already just missed your way. All you need to do now is confess and repent of your sins and get back on track with Christ. You are not a new convert.

Except the man of God specifically asks backsliders to join the altar call, it is only for people who have never received Christ before.

Also, the idea of the altar call is to place an imprint on the newly converted, so that he knows the choice he has made when he steps out boldly to receive Christ. It is also to get their contact details so that there will be a follow up after.

Lastly, there is salvation without alter call.

Only two weeks ago, one of their cronies said the media is over hyping the recession issue. Even their finance minister recently claimed recession is only a word.

I don't see and straightforwardness here. If he is being straightforward he should acknowledge he brought us where we are with a lackadaisical approach to the economy in his first six months, unguided utterances , wrong policies and general incompetence. He should be straightforward enough to know that the job is too much for him and his brothers to handle and resign proudly.

Op, what you are asking is hard, for a woman to be indifferent (Some with hard minds can be though), it's not really in our nature to be indifferent. Personally I think indifference can give the husband free reign to do as he likes since the wife doesn't care and she even advised him to use protection.

Instead of indifference , try communication , he should know that it is wrong and it is affecting you and the marriage. Also, get to the root cause of his cheating.... most times it is a lack of discipline on the man's part and not what the wife did or did not do.

Finally OP,instead of this kind thread advicing women to expect cheating, you should focus more on advising guys like you on the dangers of cheating and why its wrong. If you keep hammering on it, you could help men realise that they can rise above the urge to cheat. Thereby breeding a new generation of men with core values and respect for their women.
