“So, if you want to continue with fuel subsidy, the only way that the Dangote Refinery is going to be able to generate fuel at sub-international market price is if you gave Dangote subsidised crude oil. Now, Dangote is not asking for subsidised crude oil, neither are Nigerians asking for subsidised crude oil,” Aig-Imoukhuede stated. This lie is a dull one. Being a bank MD doesn't confer wisdom or integrity as is seen here. What needs to be done in order to maintain subsidy and allow Dangote refinery run is to buy from Dangote at the Intl market price NNPCL is currently buying from Asian refiners, then proceed to subsidize. This liar said we have to give Dangote cheap crude in order to get subsidy. Are we giving the refiners we are currently buying from cheap crude? Nonsense. |
Lol. Our colonial masters who look like us and live with us. |
Hmmm... 4 billion years. Some things probably existed long before God reformed a formless earth. |
obaidan:Orton, Wike and even Peter Obi too. I am not a partisan Nairalander. |
This is a great news. Not the CPGPA over two semesters but the reward. Before now, we were used to people getting rewarded for beauty - something they didn't labour for or create. This is an adult encouraging gesture for people to be productive. |
KingOfIsoko1:you are right. Plastic recycling is big business and every where. What I think govt should do is give low interest loans to plastic recycling startups to help them grow into consumers of such menacing plastics and clean up the society as well as ecosystem. |
The useless APC progressives have perfected the art of project loan whose repayment enslaves future generations so expect them to go into China and the likes for project loans as a way of recovering the election warchest uses in getting a mandate. |
omowolewa:the politically minded kept their jobs by echoing what the thieves in power wanted to hear and at the last minute, blew the whistle. Expect them to retract and say we can borrow more once another set of thieves come on board soon. |
Very old news. I am guessing as a prospective corper he must have counted himself lucky when allowee was pushed to 33k by FG. Inflation has wiped off any buying power that 33k had. The best approach to our economic challenges is robust production of essentials and not everyone hoping for a bigger slice of the retrogressing money in circulation. |
Aggressive investor this one appears to be. His seed is corrupted and no matter the volume of profit he makes, he is trading with proceeds of an error. |
GSM Credit to Cash idea Dollar/foreign currency lending and naira repayment. Group exportation. |
Make up is missing. |
The loan is irresistible to our loan addicted APC and they will fall for the trap ahead. |
Uprightness100:lol at the underlined. |
What a thread title! |
Do we share winnings with you? He is so unserious. |
chuksville:it is about GRV and not Tinubu. State election and Lagos to be precise. |
Never4getU:You mean GRV ran for presidency or it is just the hangover effect of obsessing over Obi, the LP presidential candidate? |
How many bags of planting material do you need per acre or hectare, planting spacing and details, suitable fertilizers, rain level, insecticide choice, time of use and cost, month of planting, popular diseases and tips to prevent them, known favourable location for cultivating it, expected average yields, preservation best practices, how to meet buyers or process it further to store and sell as products. |
sonature1:Thank you. Everyone using petrol or products and services petrol has indirectly aided its delivery, enjoys the subsidy. Instead let education and health subsidy go away. |
SharpD:why are they unmetered? Discos don't like to give metres because it will close their window/margin of corruption greatly. |
SharpD:for discos to achieve what I wrote it is commonsensical they give everyone a metre. That will also eliminate the evil estimated billing we currently suffer. |
dyera:then who gives bill to customers if not discos? For your info, it is voltage that gets step down and not current. As a matter of fact current goes up when voltages gets stepped down. |
Lol. Don't do drugs. |
According to him, in 2011 “we tried to explain that it’s bad economics; for every $1billion Nigeria spends on fuel subsidy, it is $1billion out of education, $1billion out of healthcare, $1billion out of power, $1billion out of infrastructure. He is talking about $1b, out of that what goes towards the intended purpose is around 10% of the the amount released. So we need to fight corruption before we claim subsidy isn't working. “Does it make sense to you for us to spend N200billion on all federal roads in Nigeria in one year and six times that on cheap petrol?does it make sense we pay our leaders huge amount but professors peanut? Or that we spend more on salaries of executive than on education, health, or SMEs? This snaky fella thinks he is cunning and can conjure questions to confuse us all into accepting what doesn't favour the people. Do people suffer because of bad federal roads or because of high cost of transportation? |
AYCF said Tinubu as a democrat should fight corruption, follow due process and strengthen institutions of government for democracy to strive. “We can’t preempt the incoming administration of Tinubu but if the appointees of President Muhammadu Buhari are found wanting the new president can probe them.Like how Buhari fought southern yahoo boys and termed it anti corruption.or freed convicted ex-governors right? |
None to criminalize lynching for an Arab prophet or barnish repackaged terrorism banditry. |
sonature1:wicked solution to wicked act. That's why God created and reserved hellfire. The good God. |
sonature1:the mumu and corrupt discos now have an excuse to justify endless estimated billing and thus theft. They should build in protective circuits into their metres and spike the power voltage once in a while at random to destroy the gadgets of bypassers of their protected prepaid metres. They could program the metres to go off shortly before spike the voltage too. That will deter bypassers but can they reason out of the box? |
sonature1:After generation of power what next. Discos can still hide metres and keep inflating bills to have side income. I don't envy these guys right now. |
