leksdigital: There is no shading its just the truth. Imagine a whole six months wasted. Academic calendar is 8 months yearly and 6 months gone. we have barely 4 months to the end of the year and there is no solution on sight.
This is the only country where there is always billions of money to steal but no money to do anything tangible Thank you. The man who promised anti corruption crusade has just pardoned convicted criminals far younger than many professors on health ground and some pained souls want the lecturers to back down. There is money indeed but the will to rechannel it is next to none. |

Blue3k: Lol you guys have weird logic. If you admit they aren't useful why hire them in the first place. Cut the workforce and implement a hiring freeze instead of incurring liabilities. The money going to be paid now or later unless they're taken off the books permanently. Government power really just attracts sociopaths and irresponsible people who leach off the productive. Hiring them is a complex process. Some government hire just before handover in order to appeal to people as being on their side. Others use it to reward loyalists. Even at that, govt changes. The fact of the matter is that these people are largely dispensible. If a worker influences your productivity or the productivity of your venture so positively, will you despise that worker and hold back his salary? I doubt. You may keep him though just for selfish reasons like maintaining your appeal to voters. |

OreMI22: Why is Ebonyi owing workers and building phanthom flyovers?
Workers pay must be prioritized first over white elephant projects by the governor.
Its pure wickedness to owe workers that you can comfortably pay. Just to divert their salaries to avenues where you will get kickback. The activities of most of those workers has no influence on the earning of the state so they must be pushed aside and use the available funds to do what will be accessible to all Abia peoples. It is better that way. |

Tareq1105: Why won't they vote his candidate? Our south east brothers are only good at condemning others but always cover their gullibility.
Abia state has been PDP from 1999 to date.
States in the south west, except Lagos, have changed party from AD to PDP to AC to ACN to APC yet our south east brothers would say Yorubas are slaves. Does a slave have the capacity to make choices? No. It's therefore obvious here that they are the real slaves. Upon all their loyalty to PDP non of them is considered fit for president. Very unfortunate. You are wise. Does slave vote for two major rivals almost equally? No. |

No surprise even if all States owe because the inflow of revenue has no connection to the efforts of these workers. The are just part of the money sharing system using activities to justify earnings. |

SensualMan: All thanks to Tinubu for installing a disaster that ruined Nigeria and took Nigeria 100 years back. During Jonathan era, Nigeria was close to rubbing shoulders with India, Philippines and the rest of the 4th world countries.
Today, Tinubu and Buhari has made Nigeria to to be among the 5th World countries in comparison to Somalia, Eritrea, Sudan, Niger. Unfortunately theses are the countries Nigeria can rub shoulder with.
With all the national and human resources at Nigeria's disposal no jupiter on earth could have stopped Nigeria from attaining a 3rd world status country but today the story is different.
Tinubu is a disaster to humanity. We can take a road down the lane to study how Tinubu underdeveloped Lagos.
All hope is not yet lost, President Obi will put Nigeria where it rightly belongs amongst the 3rd world countries. From a consumer nation to a producer nation.
On Mallam Peter Obi mandate I stand Gidigba! Nigeria's problem is largely a structural one. There is little incentive to be good citizen. |

naptu2: Note:
I was attracted to this story by a debate among some of my American friends. Some of them were celebrating his death, while others said that it was wrong to celebrate his death (even though they also didn't like him, they said that you shouldn't speak ill of the dead or celebrate someone's death).
Why were some celebrating his death? Because he had a habit of insulting black women. In fact, it seemed as if he hated black women. They were sharing his old posts in which he criticised, condemned and insulted black women. He clearly isn't cool with attitude black put up and I see nothing bad in that. He never really abused black or hated them but disagreed with their character. |

He is cleverly using the minority and rejected muslims to do collateral damages as he seeks to convince the world not only Christians are being slaughtered. Kill some Christians as part of the main agenda, and if there are outcries of religious persecution against Christians, balance it up a bit with Shiites or minority muslims. Nice strategy. |

The sensible question we should be addressing and stressing is "how do currencies grow stronger?". When money failed in the book of Genesis, what made it fail? Unavailability of things caused by drought or famine. Why is our money weakening or failing gradually if there has been no plague to trigger a drought? These are sensible questions the teachers of God's word should be addressing to educate alongside these beautiful declarations. |
