Emefiele jus put him family name in d book of____.all because of his selfish interest
They need to pin all the mess on emefiele.
The headlines about "no more ways and means" and "Buhari sold and stole crude in advance" is all about emefiele and his boss taking the fall for emilokan's calamitous policies. It isn't working.

Military that bought 12 fighter helicopters for $1b when each goes for like $31m each? The foundation of the present mess on ground were laid by Babagida and Abacha, both military governments. The kind of corruption and sleaze presently pervasive throughout the country today are their handiwork-just come into power and chop voraciously, no shaking.

The divide and rule tactics and severe marginalization during those years led to Niger Delta militancy, pipeline vandalisation, herds men crisis etc. The root were laid then.

If you doubt me, why is Ghana not experiencing such. Rawlings who ruled Ghana probably for decades fought hard against corruption. His first act as head of state was to execute corrupt ex leaders.

Ghana may not be perfect but it enjoys constant power, there are no militants anywhere causing mayhem. The Fulani herdsmen have been neutralized.

Military rule would be far worse than Tinubu.

The only true solution to mankind's problem is God's kingdom
Ghana experienced Fulani madness also but quick tamed those fools. Read that up.

Oga, corruption was largely centralized during military era. How many military exgov own jets today? We know where abafh took his loot to but what do we know about the dirty dozen under Buhari or GEJ or OBJ? Little.
Military is bad too o. But can one bloody civilian come and buy all your food and military will be looking. Can thugs be oppressing you and levying workers so brazenly?
Think am o.

Politics › Re: Budget, Agriculture Ministers Fault Subsidy Removal, Floating Of Naira by RepoMan007: 8:05pm On Feb 09, 2024
How can cup of rice go for N250-N300?

The Naira became weaker.
Demand increased because new buyers saw cheap goods.
Supply dwindled and traders can't stay hungry until August harvest.
Now we are experiencing August in February.

God help us.

As for export. We are used to one major harvest season and the govt didn't make plans to improve that before pulling the plug off subsidy and naira defence. It was a very incomplete policy.
Production ought to have been ramped up in anticipation of such a cruel policy. I wonder where farmer will get input from next year now.

Before you mention Christians, doesn't the road obstruction negatively affect Muslims? Aren't there Muslims among the users of the road or do every Muslim pray at the same time?
and what makes the muslims blocking roads superior to other muslims or any one? Who gave them right to interpret the Quran supremely. Can they provide god in court.?

The 2016 massacre was just a dwellers relocation exercise.
You see why Nigeria is 10 steps back and one forward? Because of conquest mentality, they left northern states that are twice the entire 5 SE states in landmass to go kill them and establish a useless ranch.

This is severe. I see lack of opportunities here. If paying less than $150 equivalent is so hard and they have to do all these menial jobs to meet up, it means the society itself is lacking opportunities.

Where are our phony affiliate marketers? these are people who need just 50 or 100 $ per semester to cover vital needs.

When penalties seem the inevitable decider of our AFCON semifinal, our coach made strategic substitutions to boost our chances, emilokan has decided to keep misfiring ministers in his govt even when they were found to be corrupt. That will set a precedence for other ministers who will be emboldened to do same.

Hmmmm ..... to starve the black market traders? ... or for a select few to control the black market? Who is going to have access to the forex? ... and what will stop them from selling it on the street? ... or diverting it to foreign personal accounts?

As I see it ... some people have bullion van loads of Naira sitting in banks and warehouses.... losing value as the Naira continues to dive. Why not convert these billions to forex? ... but forex is scarce ... so why not funnel it all to the banks? .... where with connections one can deposit the Naira and withdraw forex? Whatever plans these people hatch ... all have to do with personal gains.
You are thinking well.

Who uses the dollar at the end. You mean a mini importer who gets dollar from a relative or contact at black market rate will surrender the dollar at a lower "official" rate then watch the govt people use it for nonsense things like pilgrimage or loot relocation.

There are much foreign currencies in our economy than required and people are speculating with it which making Naira weaker.

The government should grab the bull by the horns and declare the black market illegal and put jail term penalty there...both seller and buyer....shikena
it is foolish advise like this that's killing the govt's conscience.
You want to sieze what you don't own and sell as you please. The petrodollar isn't enough any more and govt can't deal with that. Sad!

predictable power supply is better than unpredictable one. Loadshedding makes sense because people can plan with it.

May be counterproductive in the long run unless the official and parallel rates
is stabilised.
people will simply intercept the forex inflow at a better rate through social media. That way a new black market is borne and the rates may reach N2500 for a USD then.
Business › Re: Banks To Pay Customers Money Sent From Abroad In Naira by RepoMan007: 7:04am On Feb 09, 2024
A very dull move. Folks abroad already device means of meeting locals in need of forex over social media where they exchange at better rates. The banks and CBN staffers know better and are only saying what Oga-on-top needs or likes to hear.

Ghana and Benin Republic produce more yam per capita than Nigeria. You don't know the main problem of Nigeria is oversized population of mainly talkative, unproductive, unpatriotic people?
