You political tout. Every country has speculators. If your economic policy is strong. It will strengthen naira. Is official rate too following speculators? Don't throw out your brain because you belong to a party. Think outside the box. The current fall in naira is due to no confidence in the econo.ic policies etc. Even the politicians u support including Bola ahmed stockpile dollars( before and during election), you are here defending thrash

Can you imagine as big as Ejigbo is.
If there is a good hospital, he would possibly be still alive.

It is high time the well traveled Ejigbo people come together and think of how to develop their town, if the government isn’t showing to be responsible.

No dollar no dollar yet we have so much dollar seating idle and hoping it sells for N5000.
Now the exchange rate has been collapsed properly, those speculators will start scheming to have the naira weaken on both windows so they can sell with profit. I blame the FG who kept pumping cheap dollar into banks and trusting them to sell it cheap.
Politics › Re: Nigerians Decry Rising Cost Of Living by RepoMan007: 10:22am On Feb 03, 2024
VeeVeeMyLuv:
People can't move about on air, land and water again due to the very high prohibitive cost of transportation. When you don't move about, you can't be productive.

Hence the reason for low productivity.
Oga, if it is melon you can peel, stay one place and peel it. Productivity has little relationship with movement.

Industrial estates and clusters help overcome the need for stressful movement.
Politics › Re: Nigerians Decry Rising Cost Of Living by RepoMan007: 10:20am On Feb 03, 2024
The cause of this whole unending cycle of inflation, put in simple form, is idleness.

Idleness inspired by free oil money, by shortcuts, by weak judiciary system, by selfish leadership.

Hope can be built on delusion at times and that's what happened to Nigerians expecting someone who supervised and sustained the chaos in Lagos to come save Nigeria and bring orderliness.

He cannot inspire production, or productivity. He only knows how to tax people and do lootables projects. All the positives we are hoping on are projects that predates emilokan.
Politics › Re: Tinubu, Nigeria Is Sinking And Streets Are Full Of Tears- Kperogi by RepoMan007: 9:10am On Feb 03, 2024
In other words, Tinubu is doing exactly what Atiku and Obi had proposed they would do, and the results would have been the same. The hyperinflation and hurt Nigerians are going through now won’t have been evaded because it is Atiku or Obi who removed petrol subsidies “from day one.” The naira’s glide to the bottom wouldn’t have been avoided because Atiku or Obi “floated” the naira.
The wailing losers have forgotten this. They assume any negative trend can always be used to promote their candidate at the expense of whoever is there now.

There has been an attemy to whitewash Buhari's failures as Tinubu's.

Here is a excerpt from women protesting in Kano today:

“We are out here on the streets protesting to let the leaders know the deteriorating situation in which we are at the moment. This is how our small-scale business is facing deterioration due to the rise in the price of flour, it is a business for the poor that the rich cannot dare venture into. We are in a very difficult situation, we need help. This is a small-scale industry mostly run by women. Life is becoming more difficult, we can hardly feed or send our children to school due to this hardship. Many have lost their capital. It is such that only 25 percent of us are now remaining in the business as many others have closed down due to lack of capital. We used to buy floor at the rate of N16,000 in the past but now it sells for N43,000. This is absurd. What we produce is a common food for the poor and is now becoming unaffordable. Any time we go to buy flour we get an increase of N1,500 to N2,000.''she said
Was flour really 16,000 per bag under Buhari or they are playing a fast one with figures? Mayve they meant 50 or 25 kg bag.

Politics › Government Should Start Emigration Loan Instead Of Industries by RepoMan007(op): 5:20pm On Feb 02, 2024
Instead of trying to run industries in a corrupt and shrinking economy, why not empower people to emigrate and be remitting money back into the country.

Corruption won't allow industries and businesses grow. Look at what farmers are passing through in the hands of bandits alone. Which sane industrialist will want to build big farm that will be targeted?
Instead, give skilled youths loans of between N25m and N40m to relocate to other countries and be remitting forex that oil can never give.

The official rates had to bow to the black market rates because the black market was bigger and more open. If oil can't give you enough dollars again, allow the black market supply source(remittances) grow until it crashes the price of forex.

What do you guys think?

Well, as e be say dem no wan stop this head hunting stuff, my advice is that federal government should invite these head hunters to perform the juju in public view and in front of national TVs and satellite, and confirm the potency, after which federal government will empty all cemeteries, taking skulls and openly performing the juju, resulting on Nigeria becoming the richest state on earth, Europeans and Americans will beg go relocate this way. My two cents
The printing of cash we are doing is already producing far more cash than any skull can ever do.
