If your rent begins January 1, it expires December 31 not January 31.

Very good, a day after Dec 31 is 1st Jan right? So why is it April 18 - March 17 to u and not April 17 instead? Is a day after March 17 April 18? I hope u will get the logic now

January to December is 12 months, aka 1 Year.
January to January is 13 months aka 1year and 1 month

So, if you pay rent on January, it expires December, and you must pack out or renew the rent on expiry date which is a date before the previous date that the rent was paid.

Now you understand?

Well at least I own one but may I ask out of curiosity, if he rents in April last year, pays in March this year, Feb nxt year, Jan upper year, pays in Dec by 2023 and it goes on like that right?

You don't hv to insult, if u still don't understand how it works, count 365days from 18/04/19 and see where it ends. It's as simple as that

Why are you guys counting in months instead of days. If he paid 18/04/19, then it expires 17/04/20. A year is 1st Jan to 31 Dec on a monthly basis, 2nd Jan 2019 to 1st Jan 2020 is a year

Point of correction, if u paid 1st of April, ur rent expires 31st of March. So if u paid 18th of April then it expires 17th of April the following year. The day u pay a yearly rent, same day or a day earlier u renew it the following year

The little money I transferred to them for top up of my fixed income fund account is yet to reflect after a whopping 10 days, since 03/02/20.

Did I miss any memo about a delay in their services?

This situation is not funny to me.

How will take up to that long for top up wen it takes arnd 24hrs to withdraw. You must have done something wrong

I sent a message to them on twitter indicating my email address and phone number, someone called me and was keeping in touch , I tried to call back but nobody picked since I don't know the extension number of the one handling my case. I mailed customer care too and copied my relationship manager, we exchanged up to 10 mails. So surprised at ur complaints

For those defending FBNQuest, ask for your account statement. Or they should show you a breakdown of how much excess they paid into your interest on the 14th of December.

The day someone mentioned here that he got an outrageous excess as yield for the previous day, I quickly logged into my account and noticed there was no strange increase in my accrued interest.

So without any explanation, they took out a whooping 30kplus from my principal on the 6th of January and then paid me short of my expected value for the number of days the accrued interest showed 0.00. I even tried to use 6% as the yield rate but I was still short paid.

Send me my account statement, MBA! They refused to send... Who is being shaddy here?

Strange cos I didn't ask for my account statement yet I was sent, infact twice by 2 different representives when I complained about the deductions to verify my claims. It is well

They are making adjustments to the overpayments made at a certain weekend in December last year. If you monitor ur account u would have noticed. It is that amount they are taking out in form of redemption

I thought I did enough due diligence through comments in this group before I decided to pitch my tent with FBN Quest MMF.
The experience has not been as some reported they had. It took over a week to open an account for me and only after I had to call.
I deposited 900k on January 1st. As I write I am unable to access my deposit using the app. I called my account officer and customer care and all they could offer were excuses and assurances.
My account officer assured that my account is running and promised to send account statement to me tomorrow but why shouldn't I be able to access directly. What if he sends a fake statement?
I am really unimpressed.

I don't know about the account opening ish but as per your deposit, u subscribed at a time when new subscription isn't a first priority, it's d end of a quarter so reinvestment and payment of profits is most important. After all these has been settled, every other thing will fall into place as expected. The delay is normal as long as fbn is concerned. By Monday, your deposit and earnings from the day of subscription will reflect bfr the close of day. To avoid such delays, don't subscribe at the end of a quarter, do so bfr or few days after

Yes cost of living is on the high side, eg beans is twice it's price in ota, 30k for bag of foreign rice bt 20k in ota, boat ride currently to ph is #2200 and vice versa , newly constructed self-contain Is Atleast 150k, old buildings can be gotten cheaper, it is a safe place, I hear cultism exists but I've never heard them intimating anyone, electricity is constant and very cheap compared to phcn, prostitutes only stay where they can get lng workers so they operate at there route, I have never seen one though I'm not a night crawler, u be woman wetin concern u wit that anyway? Night life? I may not be in the best position to ans that but there are few bars arnd, a night club exists too, wen u meet ur type, dem go definitely take you places

I will advice you not to subscribe at the end of a quarter next time, wait for few days, it's usually delayed due to payment of profits and reinvestment process
