Bros be realistic, the money the nigerian government budget for road construction won't be enough to do flyovers like these ones.

And it would take 3 different administration, each serving 2 terms before they would get to 80% completion..
this is why yhe Blackman is backward... DO WE HAVE A MINISTRY OF Workshuh The last time I checked... the federal govt controlled land and water in nigeria exclusively. What would it take to build these? Sand , gravel ,coal ,granite ,steel, cement ,architects ,and manpower. If there was merit and no federal xter... the ministry of works should be 90% architects and engineers but No.. na mallams wey study sharia education full there. Infact an engineer may never lead that ministry. We don't need to give out contracts with such a large ministry of works workfoce.. FG HAS ALL THE RESOURCES( not money). This should be piece of cake.

You are correct, when Adekunle's 3rd marine commandos arrived Igbo speaking areas of present Rivers and whipped their asses and defences, in the push to 'Igbo heartland', they had to accept they are non Igbo to avoid the fate that befell their brothers in starvation.

The challenge is reorienting them now, because a whole new generation of these Rivers indigenes face serious emotional and psychological identity dysfunctional syndrome-always on the defensive- aggressively charging at other Nigerians in their denial of not being Igbo.

When other Nigerians encounter them in training colleges, offices and businesses, they only but feel pity for their dual/split identity-perceived Igbo but claims 'minority' all because of belonging to oil states.

This situation would have befallen the Aniomas- until their elders decided to support their racial kith and kins because their son Nzeogwu had a hand in the whole crisis. They paid the price-yes-in Asaba massacre by Murtala's troops, but they have put that in their stride and moved on. Today even with low oil resources, Delta Igbo account for three of Nigeria' top 10 richest citizens: Jim Ovia, Tony Elumelu and Peter Eloka Okocha.

My brothers, we need to reorientate our kiths in Rivers with the Igbo historical works such as T. Basden, Kenneth Dike, Elizabeth Isichei etc. We know the likes of Elechi Amadi- who made his name on the back of Igbo/Ikwerre history is part of the seeds of discord. If Obi Wali, Francis Ellah, Eze Rebisi and Eze Nwuche of Ekpeye were to have been alive and strong they won't allow this barefaced erosion of cultural ties to continue.
did obiwali identify as igbo? I remember he died in suspicious circumstances... involving an adulterous wife and lover though..was young then.

First of all why the fck is she going to fight for her daughter... thats a typical single mother move. If she had a man he'd tell her to consult the right authority. Bullying na regular thing for yankee. If she doesn't want that then take the child to an expensive private school. I did part of my high school in fgcph and heheheh na beating we dey recieve constant and taxing. Shout out to FGC PH. At what rate? At the rate at which Africa was battered or what? Last I checked, British imperialism never politically took hold in mainland China, so it is different.

They gained little territory especially for trade sake and the opium sale (an addictive drug). Many Chinese heroes fought against this.

In Japan, Caucasians had no ground there, Japanese themselves were colonizers with their rule not similar to the ground and number of years British gained in Africa with inhumane Wickedness.

Koreans were not fully British properties, they only gained extraterritorial rights from 1883 to 1910. Koreans were more of Japanese subjects, but did this majorly affect their culture and language?

Last I checked Koreans still speak Korea as official language and weren't ferried away in ships with crates like bottles like in the slave trade.

So how is it not different from the one in Africa?

What of Singapore and Malaysia, you want to equate theirs to the kinda sufferings Africans suffered?

With all the slave trades, have you ever seen a free country or island in other continents chiefly occupied by Asians or other colonized races like we have Africans in the caribbean (Haiti, Jamaica, Dominica rep and co) ?

It points to the fact that Africans suffered the most casualty in slavery and colonialism and they fought back to claim some of the strange lands they found themselves in.

Just point to a similar island or territory occupied chiefly by Asians (Indians or Chinese or whatever) who revolted to make their own government in a strange land.

It is only the blacks that have it due to the high population of black slaves seized and numbers of years spent in slavery before they summoned courage to revolt.

And you're telling the world that experiences of Africans aren't different from that of the Asians.

I have asked a second question now (in the 8th paragraph ) , and I would also like answers to the former one and this.
YOUR ARGUMENT WOULD HAVE BEEN VALID IF INDIA WASNT 105% UNDER BRITISH CONTROL or A LARGE CHUNK OF THE ARAB NATIONS

1. They all paid heavily for education back then and hustled for scholarships back then.

2. If you want good government schools then government needs to earn far more money than we earn now. And that means higher taxes or higher fees.
You jumped over the suggestion that they can increase cut off marks.. why is the only solution increasing fees plus... pls don't mislead people. They didn't pay the equivalent of what is obtainable now. And they even got free feeding and housing etc wtf. Then when they became vc they destroy it for the younger ones. If the structures cannot handle the volume of students as you claim then increase cut off and stricter sieving process.

Well scholarships are widely available and yes you have to hustle for them .

Back in the 1970s scholarships were not dashed out for free. You often times had to write exams to get them. And you had to be at a certain academic level to even qualify

Also there were relatively fewer students in university today compared to now so government could easily find money for the scholarships and grants then. Not now when there are far more students and far more universities

At the end ofthe day education costs money
There are no scholarships sponsored by the schools themselves.. we have scholarships sponsored by shell etc that's different. The v.c and average bran didn't pay exubtantly for education that's why he's a v.c.

Education for private schools maybe super expensive but for govt schools......... bros. It's too expensive . If they want to reduce population then increase cut off marks. This new fees will put brilliant brains out of school. It's a freaking govt school that gets allocations.. so what do you mean education is expensive?.

The guy got what he deserved by being nepotistic, killing Northerners and Westerners excluding his Eastern Brothers. He was the one that form Unitary Govt abolishing Regional Govt and Devolved Powers that his people are clamoring for today in the name of restructuring all because of greed and the grand plan to make his tribe to dominate other tribes in Nigeria.

His people started nepotism in Nigeria
See how you fools twist history.... Ironsi survived the 1st coup by a stroke of luck, and abolished regionalism BUT ALL REGIONS STILL HAD RESOURCE CONTROL. The difference was that the central/ unitary govt appointed admunstors for each region. Ofcos no elections in a military rule .....but every region was still autonomous. Contrary to how it may seem like it was insidious on his part, that was the possible way to end the chaos with emergency rule. He didn't know the amount of hate and jealousy the rest Nigeria had against the igbo then...they all thought we were one . GOWON ....GOWON. . GOWON was the one that abolished resource control while giving back so called federalism. He destroyed Nigeria. He caused the Civil War by reneging on the aburi agreements. I can blame ifeajuna for messing up the 1st coup but to be realistic , the west was boiling with Akintolas wild wild west and sardauna was openly showing his disdain for igbos and how he preferred the white man to other nigerians in the midst of riots and pogroms in the north. Michael okparas eastern region was relatively peaceful and the opposition had ousted ziks NCNC. Though unfortunately this has been thwarted as an igbo agenda.... its mischievously covered up that ojukwu and Ironsi were the reason the coup failed... the coup was halted by igbos. Ironside survived by the whiskers. History will never be rewritten by you revisionists. RIP TO IRONSI BUT THESE ARE THE STUPID LEADERS WE HAD THAT BELIEVED IN ONE NIGERIA AND FAILED TO SEE THE WRITING ON THR WALL.

I will reiterate, nobody loves unconditionally; not men, not women. You just wasted your time typing out this bullshit for nothing

RomanceRe: My Experience With Nigerian Ladies In The West by revolt(m): 1:03pm On Oct 30, 2021
Hyerin:
Defence is another thing entirely, it's not an indication of this supposedly unconditional love. How many laymen are willing to fight and shed blood for their country? With this logic then politicians, senators, presidents, doctors, lawyers etc and all other professions that deals with people or impact their lives all have unconditional love for people since their line of work affect them in some way. Men getting drafted into war are forced to, there's no altruistic motive on their part. What about interpersonal relationships? Men are the perpetrators of intimate partner violence; domestic physical and sexual assault; familicide; incest etc. Upholders of infidelity and are six times more likely to leave their wives if she gets sick or disabled so were exactly is this unconditional love coming from? Some parents don't even love their own children unconditionally not to even talk of men, the worst of the worst in showing genuine affection. Almost everything men do is primarily motivated by selfishness; he is self-seeking. All the prerequisites and demands in being "wife material" you lot enjoy disturbing the peace with are what? Not conditions abi? You must have constructed your own reality because what you asserted doesn't align with objective facts.

"Argue with the void" is an expression signifying a disinterest in furthering discourse, dimwit.
You said a lot there ... for a start. Women and men express love very differently. Women express love by nurturing, exclusive sex to one partner and faithfulness. Women are built to follow and respect/ pair bond with people they love. A nun in love will support her drug dealer husband irrespective of her values. In our natural state the female of most species are weaker and smaller than the males. Women since time immemorial have always needed to survive by pairing and matng with the strongest male to protect her/ offspring. A woman's response to this protection and provision is expressed emotionally a.k.a love.
Men on the other hand, love differently and this is where blue pillers get it wrong. Men naturally have evolved for defense, labor, resilience, gritt. Succinctly put a man is built with the capability to destroy, kill, invade . HOWEVER he is also built to act with rationality more often.Theres a reason men have nor destroyed the world with nuclear bombs yet they possess the power to do so. So these traits are usually docile and only come out when needed(exceptions exist though). Men don't express love by sexual excluvity, nurturing and etc men do this by providing security, protection and would die in the process. A man would in his natural state, go hunting ( solitary)/ gather or conquer other men and bring the spoils to his woman/ family while expecting nothing in return. This is how men show love. A King can marry a slave and automatically she becomes a queen.. a queen will not even look at peasant talk less of love. cos she gains no security.
Sex for men is like scratching an itch. Man isn't even designed for one woman biologically. When it comes to reproduction a woman has a far greater burden of investment as she would be demobilised for 40 weeks thus she needs to mate with the best she can get with. A weak male doesn't get to mate in the natural order. On the other hand, the man can make 40 + babies in the same period while stI'll conquering and hunting/ providing. This doesn't make him aberrant. That's just how he's built. Men are not the only ones committing all the sex crimes in the home heck .. most of us were disvirgined by sexual predators and cougars ie our aunties and big cousins. We even have mothers in lagos sleeping with their sons, mother in laws sleeping with daughters husbands... it goes both ways but sex affects women more which is why any sensible society should protect and if possible repress female sexuality.
We can argue men and women face domestic abuse in the west but with the laws in place women are committing more domestic abuse these days because the laws tilt towards female bias. The implication .. men abandoning marrIage/ pairing with women in droves, children raised without protection from the male and a bunch of dysfunctional men that act emmotionally cos they were raised as women. Death of society.

Go and read the history of WW2 Germany to add a few. Once the German machine fell, the invading Red army and allied forces descended on the women and offspring of the germans. They r#ped what ever they found NOT just to bust a nut, but ensure the German society was wiped out. Guess what the women did to survive? They pair bonded and married the new marauding conquerors for protection. THEY FELL IN LOVE. Then the men began to protect the ones they loved from other soldiers. They had children with them and voila the former men were history.
The truth is EVERY SOCIETY THAT ATTEMPTED BLURRING THE LINES BETWEEN MEN AND WOMEN CRASHED/ IMPLODED..Roman,Japan Hausa Egyptian empires etc

Nobody loves unconditionally though.
Men do naturally. Men provide and give even when they know they're getting NOTHING in return. That's why a man would naturally give his life to protect his family. Men raise families abd get neglected in old age and don't complain. If we acted based on what we expect in return women, children and society would suffer. Women spend their money mostly on themselves ie shoes bags beauty products..maybe her house and cars. Bulk of a man's money goes to other ppl
