Exactly. Fathers don't care about the appreciation. Even if they do, they act like they don't need it. Plus their general strict nature and business-like attitude towards their kids. It's absurd to see a father solicit appreciation from his children. It kinda makes him a sissy. Of course he is the god in the house, and a god is not supposed to depend on his worshipper(the children in this case) for anything. That's the thing with Fathers. They act as though that they are above the kind appreciation, thus it is useless to them.

Meanwhile, the favours that moms do come with some drama and emotion(Women and manipulation are like 5 and 6). It is this stuff that play on the childrens' mind to elicit those appreciation and encomiums mothers get all the time. In the end, it doesn't matter if the dad provided more favours; the mother always get a lion share of the praises.

It was as I got older that I began to realise that men endure a lot. To be a man is not easy. All men worldwide, both my enemies, (and minus kitten niggas that worship women)...I hail and respect you all.

I was speaking to a friend of mine the other day who wickedly abandoned his father and was dotting all over his mum even recently took her on a trip to canada while the Dad is wallowing in abject poverty.

The Mum actually poison the mind of this dude cause she and his father were having a little misunderstanding. It pains me so much cause I know the Father in question and go over to see him once in a while. Whenever He starts talking about what his son my friend is doing to him I can really feel the pain and hurt in his words.
Men please dont ever abandon your father for any reason at all because tommorrow you are going to be someones father, think how you would feel if your own children abandon you in old age just because your wife turned them against you.

I know there are good fathers out there, but what i pass through my dad's hands, make me to believe that all fathers are the same.

I'm Frederick (pseudonym) i come from a family where raising your hands against your parent is a taboo, my mum has been with my dad for 21 years, she's a second wife, the first wife is living elsewhere, they got divorced before my mum came, now my dad disrespect my mum everytime, he barks at her for nothing, even things that shouldn't cause trouble he'll pick offense, he beats her in our presence, back then when I was young and helpless I'll just watch and cry but now I'm grown, i can beat him up anytime now because I told him the last time that if he touches my mum again I'll kill him, i regret telling him that but i was enraged, this poor woman endured this for 21yrs, currently I'm not at home, i got a call from my kid sis telling me he has started again, since my last warning he was quiet, now he's back to his old self, the worst thing is, he has other children, he'll always call my siblings and tell them bad things about me and mum, they don't talk to her or me(my elder bro and sis) dont talk to me or mum, I'm the second child from mum and the ninth child from dad, he's always battering mum and causing a rift between me and my siblings.

He pays thier school fees including my old bro who's almost thirty and my immediate younger sis but he refused to pay mine, the only siblings that talk to me is the last born and the youngest girl, the rest sided my dad

Please what do i do, i dont want to be someone who beat up my dad
