Ever wondered why bad girls get good guys? Take a look at this. Bad girls as seen by most people in the society are girls who are excessively social. They are brave, outgoing and daring. They seem to enjoy life to the fullest while partying hard. These are some of the girls whose lives revolve round being in clubs and never missing a happening event in the society. They know the most talked about people and are able to identify the rich and wealthy guys. Below are some insights as to why the bad girls get hooked to the good guys. Bad girls are smart These girls are outgoing ladies who know how to mingle. They are ‘not dulling’ in the real sense of the word. They are most times beautiful ladies who are fashion as and pull attraction everywhere they step into. They understand that most of the good men out there have careers and could be wealthy. And to ease off the built up tension of work and other life issues, they pass out time in the clubs and bars. The good girls are hardly found in this kind of setting. Force of attraction Basic knowledge of Physics could be likened to real life situation here. Just like when objects that are electrically neutral with equal amounts of neutrons (negative charge) and protons (positive charge) connect when in close proximity, two individuals with different life styles bond too. Just as the protons could become negatively charged and the neutrons positively charged, the bad girl and the good guy would influence each other until they reach equilibrium. They become perfect for each other. More experienced The bad girls are often ‘long legged’. They seem to have been everywhere and have heard things that could guide them in their sojourn in life. They know things the good girls don’t and have firsthand experience of places. They have the ability to place the men who approach them and identify the exceptionally good ones among them. They know the players and understand the ‘no-time-to-waste-men’. They recognise potentials in the men once they see them and go extra miles to keep the men attracted to them. S3xual satisfaction Like most good girls who keep their legs closed, some bad girls keep theirs even closer. They taunt the men until they have built up a s3xual tension in them. However, most of the bad girls are wild. They seem to explore always and know how to please the men. They could take men to different pleasurable heights before pushing them over the edge. They leave the guys in cloud nine at the end of the whole thing. Every guy wants a woman that would drive him wild in bed and give him an unforgettable time. So the bad girl is picked over the good ones here. Relativity One man’s meat is another man’s poison, they say. This explains why some men would deliberately choose a bad girl over a good girl even when they know about their escapades. Some bad girls after settling down with good men become submissive and trade their old habits for good ones. Men’s choice can’t be fully ascertained as one could never be sure of the magnetic force between them and the bad girls. Compulsory retirement There’s time for everything. The bad girls can’t remain bad forever. They get tired of their old ways at certain points in time. They calm down and mellow when they have seen it all. This doesn’t make them less desirable, they remain piping hot because they maintain their dress sense and good looks. In fact, they become better people with improved mannerism and are able to live responsibly after. |
Have you ever asked yourself why guys lie all the time? And you're like he could have just told you the truth and both of you can trash whatever it is out. Sometimes it's not even about cheating or he doesn't love you though that could also be the reason. After a lengthy conversation with my male friends I've been able to come up with some of the reasons they lie to us. 1, If he's cheating: Well a cheating fella is prone to lie all the time to cover up his dirty tracks and sexcapades., take it or leave it lie is a necessity for a guy that cheats so if your man lies all the time you shouldn't be too shocked if you finally find out he's a player. 2, Fear: This particular one is quite sensitive, they claim to sometimes lie cos of the fear of loosing a partner. Even though I do not like the idea I still kinda get the point here. Most ladies are quite short tempered and always seize every opportunity they get to nag so if a guy loves her and he doesn't want to quit he just resorts to not telling her the truth as an escape route from her nagging though it doesn't really help matters at the end of it all 3, Some ladies are quite shallow minded and childish in the way they deal with situations. When a guy is nice enough to tell you his past why seize every slight opportunity you get to bring it back up and use it against him. No wonder these guys never want to open up to us concerning their past lives and relationships. 4, Well they claim we don't like real men that are truthful, we want the rich dudes, handsome ones, career person and a all round successful guy. The truth be told our tastes when it comes to choosing our partners are quite unrealistic, these guys want to have us but we're too busy running after shadows so they sometimes have to lie just to get what they want though it doesn't usually mean all they want a sex, a good number of them really want to be with us. 5, Guys keep lots of friends and are easily influenced wrongly most times, they need to keep up with social status more than we ladies in fact. Even though they never admit it, a rich dude around the corner is a big threat to them and they have this mindset of only the richest dudes get the best girls. The truth be told no girl sincerely wants to be with a broke guy so sometimes they end up looking rich with empty pockets and accounts. My advice to you all in summary; To my gentlemen please try to tell us your true status, someone out there will definitely love you for who you are so quit the lies and stop getting broke trying to look rich. To the ladies please use a little more of the chill pill and stop pushing them into having to lie to us. Written by: Ajayi Nifemi Oritoke |
YBNL is a well acclaimed record label which has been in existence for about 6 years now. The label has steadily risen and has gone from having one artist to having more than 3 artists and 2 producers. Olamide, the CEO Of YBNL , was the first artist under this label. He is currently one of the biggest artists in Nigeria as he is the most successful of the so-called local rappers. I’m not here to give you a history of YBNL or tell you about their rise to the top, I am here to talk about what i call “The Formula“. I have studied the Nigerian Music Industry and I must tell you that there is actually an unidentified mechanism, a technique, a combination of certain elements which a song needs to be successful. The YBNL team is one which has mastered these elements and put them to good use because at the moment it seems like they can’t go wrong. I would briefly talk about these elements while using YBNL as a case study . I have summarized all these techniques into three: UNIQUE PRODUCTION. In Nigerian music, production determines almost 60% of the songs success because the beat of the song is one of the first things that catches a listeners attention in this part of the world especially. Most producers have a unique sound attributed to them and most times any song they use the sound for works. Sarz had it in the “Kako Bi Chicken’ phase, Don Jazzy had it with his beats always having certain traditional sounds and now, I must tell you that Young John the wicked producer has it. I can’t explain the sound to you but I bet you have noticed yourself. The success of YBNL’s songs currently, can partly be attributed to Young John’s amazing beats. He just keeps getting it right and as such always making jams. A CATCHY HOOK This is an area that a lot of artistes in Nigeria get it wrong. A good hook is never enough but a catchy hook, one that would register in the listeners mind once he or she hears it, now that is what is needed. Haven’t you wondered why everyone regardless of tribe knows Olamide’s choruses. They don’t even want to know the meaning, why? Because they’ve been caught. Look at all the songs they have churned out since last year, from ‘Story For The gods’, ‘Shoki’, Gbese, Bobo, the hooks and choruses of these songs are so catchy you just have to like the songs. It’s like YBNL have a chorus machine somewhere because they don’t seem to get it wrong ever. HOW RELATABLE THE SONG IS Now this is one element that nobody seems to identify. For your song to be successful in Nigeria, someway somehow the listener should be able to relate. The listener must have an emotion rising as he listens to the song, whether pain, sorrow, happiness, nostalgia , or just plain old excitement. The song must be able to make the person feel like you had him in mind. This is quite hard but this is why the local rappers get it easily. People relate with their native language on a far higher level and YBNL has mounted on this wave and surfed their way to the top of the charts. Olamide even found another way to ensure that his songs sink in by recycling old folk sings and slangs he did this in Bobo even in Lagos Boys. This has worked perfectly and i can’t wait to see he would do next. Im sure you can see that these are the elements which necessitate success for a song and if you are an artist reading this then hopefully its not too late. Credit: 360nobs |
