Speaking at an audience with Pastor Chuck Pierce of Global Spheres International Church, President Jonathan said that in spite of current challenges, he was confident that African nations will achieve rapid development and progress if their governments and peoples make the right decisions and implement them.

"I believe that we can get to where other nations are if we do things rightly. If we put our acts together, we can take our rightful place in the comity of nations," the President told the Corinth, Texas-based pastor who is hosting an international conference of his church in Abuja.

Thanking him for his interest in Nigeria and Africa, President Jonathan urged Pastor Pierce to continue to pray for the country and the continent.

Pastor Pierce thanked the President for receiving his delegation which included other church leaders from Nigeria and other African countries.

He told the President that he believed that this was an important time for Nigeria and assured him of the continued prayerful support of his global church.

Is This a Joke or what American Comedian Kat Williams Diss Nigeria

According to reports, our very own Nigerian football legend Austin JJ Okocha is currently producing a movie about reggae star Majek Fashek.

The movie's screen play is reportedly written by Charles Novia, and features Fracis Duru as Majek Fasek, Sam Dede, Stella Damascus and other top Nollywood actors.

However,movie producer Charles Novia has confirmed this report. He said that he movie is shooting on 35mm and took about 3 years to fine-tune. It is presently at its pre-production stage, after which the crew will travel to New York in October to shoot the America scene, which is the major part of the film.
It was also gathered that Nollywood actor, Francis Duru is undergoing guitar lessons and extensive study of Majek's character for the past eight months to fit the role.
This is what Francis had to say about Majek:
"Whatever his travails and the public perception of him, Majek still remain a world class material, who has promoted so much interest world wide with his type of genre of music, So a movie of his life and career has to meet a world class".
