The viral news of an unnamed Magistrate in Cross River State who was arraigned before his colleague for non-payment of house rent had not gone to bed as more details are spunning up in the state.

Cross River Watch had taken steps to look into pending issues and such has revealed that 29 Magistrates duly recruited in the State have not been paid their 18 months salaries, despite been subjected to training at various courts and at the National Judicial Instititute, Abuja.

It may not have been unconnected with the tussle between the State Governor Ben Ayade and the Judiciary as per who heads the Courts as the substantive CJ. Believe me, this has caused undue hardship to those duly recruited and currently manning their various courts. They dispense justice, they have given judgments, convicted culprits, and do all what other Magistrates can do. They are however exposed to corruption as lawyers seem to take advantage of thier unpaid status and thereby entice them with envelops to obtain judgements in thier favours.

I tend to forget where I keep my stuff easily, and it's really annoying. I may do something right now and forget it seconds later. Ironically, I remember things like names of people, what people said and the faces of people easily and accurately. I can still remember the surnames and names of my ex-classmates in secondary school perfectly, and the names and surnames of 202 people in my class at the University level.

My forgetfulness, however, petrifies me a lot as I'm 22 years old. What could be wrong? Should I be worried or it's normal at such an age?

I mean no disrespect, but the Nigerian military do not know how to fight insurgency warfare. 
Insurgency warfare is 50% actual combat and 50% propaganda warfare. You have to win the propaganda war to win the actual war. 

Win the support of the local population and deny it to your enemy. Without local support Boko Haram will weaken and die. 

Another mistake the army makes is to patrol the terrain in convoys. That gives you the false impression you're in control while giving the enemy lots of space to attack you. 

Nigerian army mostly repel the enemy you hardly see them attack. You have to continuously bring the war to the enemy. Boko haram are human beings. They eat, shìt, and sleep. Find out where they do these things and exterminate them like cockroaches. If that means waterboarding some of the captives then by all means do so. 

This is a war of attrition and not church thanksgiving.
