What were his stats? As in temperature. If it isn't over 39°C they won't take it as an emergency.

Mama's, seriously try and get yourselves a small digital thermometer. It helps so you know if it's a mild fever or not, so you don't go and be waiting, only for them to say "not an emergency, go home". Digital thermometers are cheap and some come in the baby care set (like Summer Infant's own).

I was supposed to get it at the hospital I gave birth but forgot. Dh promised to get it for me tomorrow. Thanks ma

I went to General Hospital on Sunday. I waited for 5 hrs and left. I wasn't attended to. They had so many emergencies. Why I decided not to wait again was because the few mamas they attended to was discouraging. They listen to your complain and say nothing is wrong with your baby, take him home and bring him tomorrow.

The nurse that took my file examined him said even though he has, it's a mild one. Another nurse that checked his temperature and weigh also said same.

The discharge is not coming out like before.

i use toothbrush for my son with maclean milk teeth. Its a struggle everyday before i can brush his teeth cos he wants to do it himself. I was using cotton wool but the bite eh, no be for here.

Carry him on your lap and brush. Brush first and let him see you, that may encourage him to open his mouth

it happened to my baby equally, i called our pediatrician she said it's jaundice, my son was placed on phototheraphy for four days before it cleared.

IMO just call ur doc today ok? meanwhile congrats on d birth of ur newborn.
