mubzay:It's placenta previa (low lying placenta). I had it before it finally moved up. During that period, I read in Google and Alemo50 thread, that after the placenta might have moved up, the umbilical cord might tie the baby's neck. I completely forgot until you asked. |
Birth story On Monday 29th of February, dh woke me up to settle some misunderstanding. I told him the previous night that I wasn't interested in the naming ceremony clothes again since he said it's going to be parlour things. So after much begging, I sha agreed to send a friend to buy us the clothes. He started disturbing for s£X, I refused because I heard it might lead to labour. He began his preaching., that since I'm refusing, it means i am still angry, so I kukuma gave in. Dh left for work at 4:10am, Around 5:30am, I began to have contraction, (Humm, con see fear for my eyes, today of days 29th) it wasn't so painful but I wasn't able to move my legs. So I prepared for work. I got to work around 8, teachers were like madam, you never drop? The contraction was coming and going but I didn't monitor the minutes apart. As I sat down in the class, my water broke, I asked a pupil to get me my baby's wrapper from the creche. I tied it and waited for some time. I packed my things, food and phones and went home. I got home, packed baby's things and hospital list. Then, straight to the hospital. As I got there at 11:30 am, I told them, my water has broken. Immediately, I was taken to the labour room. The nurse on duty shaved me and (can't remember what she called it) put that pipe in my anus so that I can poo. Come and see poo of life. A doctor came to check me and said I was 7cm. I was happy. After that check, the pains became unbearable. I tried using mouth to breathe, e no let me, I began to shout, then when it has relieved me, I will smile and say Na WA. The checking became so frequent and the pain intensified. I started shouting for the nurse to come o. The MD heard my voice, he came and checked me. He told them, if I came here 1hr ago and was 7cm, I should have given birth. He told me to push when the contraction comes again. When he left, the nurses and doctor con begin gossip say, if there is complications, he will blame them, that I shouldn't push until they tell me. I was given drip to help dilate fast. Thirty minutes later, I was fully dilated, so I was encouraged to push, I started pushing, but baby refused to come. The MD came and said the baby has not crowned , he began to push my tummy and used his fingers to touch my tummy because I was no longer having contraction. After so many pushes , the doctor brought out scissors to give me tears, I begged him not to, he said it's to help the situation. The pushing began again, the MD con dey shout Jesus Jesus, I pushed with all my power even though I was very tired. My baby came out with his cord around his neck at exactly 1:41pm, weighing 3.1kg, the MD quickly cut it off. He didn't cry even with enough slapping, so he was placed on a machine, still he didn't cry. I began to speak God's Word to him o. He started turning blue and was placed on Oxygen. All the while I was been stitched, my baby was just making one tiny noise like that and sneezing too. Before I left the labour room to the ward, he cried once and I was happy. The nurses checked on him every 30 mins and when they come, they beat him till he cries and I noticed he was been beaten on a particular hand. A nurse said it affected his right hand but the hand is okay now. I pray it's really okay o. In all, I thank God I'm alive and my son is alive. His name is Kikiyanuoluwa. Others names are still loading.

2sexynet:And now, who gave you the power to curse God's seed and an innocent child? Please, don't bring curse upon your own head. Ask for forgiveness and let it slide. |

@sayoberry, Humm my boy does not only bite, he pinches too. That their tiny teeth are so sharp. When I get tired of speaking English, straight way, I bite or pinch him back. He doesn't get tired, as he is crying, he continues his biting or pinching. He does it to his creche mates and other 2 years old kids in the next class. Infact, he terrorises them with bite. When the pupils of my school just see me, they will say Mummy Flourish, Flourish can bite ooo. |
