Romance › Re: The "I Trained Her In School Yet She Left Me" Issues by rhames(m): 11:23pm On Aug 03, 2018
Amarabae:
July is rounding up, August is around the corner.
May favour locate you in the new month to come wink wink
.
I am going to be brief about this issue.
It's about those guys that love to complain bitterly about how they trained a lady in a higher institution with hope of marrying her after she graduates, only for the lady to graduate and dump him.
I have witnessed one, the guy a wealthy trader brought the girl from the village somewhere in the east,
Trained her in Uniabuja, she did a four years course, graduated and served in Oyo state, while in Nysc, she started giving the young man attitude in terms of communication,
When the surprised guy pressed hard to inquire About what the problem is from his "future wife "
The girl told him plain and pure that he should get another girl and marry, that if she get a job in the future, she may repay him all that he spent on her.
The downcasted young man attempted suicide by mixing rat poison in his food, it was unbearable for him,
All his profits he spent on this girl,
His friends warned him, his sister was not in support yet being a guy madly in love, how can you think he will listen to you.
Luckily he was revived at a hospital after a young cousin alerted his neighbors who rushed in and saw how life is trying to snuff out of him, they rushed him to the hospital for medical help.
.
I felt so sorry for him .
Inasmuch as the girl was mean by playing with the young man emotion all along.
I strongly blame the young man for being stupid.
Had it been that he married the girl and then start training her, that's fine, many men do it.
But he placed his hope on that after training her, the girl will accept to marry him,
He took a risk but it backfired.
Had it been that he wanted to train her just for kindness sake and don't have any marriage objectives in mind, that would be understandable.
Both of them share in the blame.
.
As a guy, Can you train a girl in higher institution with hope of marrying her after she graduates?
.
As a girl, if a guy you don't have affection for offers to train you in the University, will you pretend to love him?
After graduating, if he proposes ,will you accept?

.
Let's discuss grin grin cheesy
If you ever date a student, a jobless woman, a woman ten years younger than you, an illiterate woman and a directionless woman, you are bound to face emotional issues n the long run . If you have to spend your hard earned resources on these four, there has to be a concrete reason for it. A man should go into a relationship with a free mind that it can go bad or turn out good eventually: not invest his entire emotions into it. I have sponsored three ladies across school and i did not invest my emotions into it because i came into with a free mind.

I pray that Almighty God grant his prayers by giving him his wife before he takes his own life over a piece of Arse.

Angelanest:
Some Fulanis who are currently languishing in a prison in Jos, Plateau state, have promised to change their ways and stop killing if they ever have the opportunity of coming out from jail. They made the promise during a church outreach conducted recently in the prison.

In a video footage posted by evangelist Christian Chukwuka, the leader of the Abounding Grace Foundation, the preacher warned them that if they have the intention of not changing from their evil ways, they will never come out from prison because the country can not cordone nuisance any more.

When they were asked if they know what their wives and children are doing at home, the inmates said that they don't know because of their condition which they would like to change as most of them vowed to repent and promised not to go back to the the life of crime.

The pastor prayed for them and also encouraged them to be of good behaviour while they serve their prison sentence.

They will say that. Not because of the church service but for the short and serious "orientation course" they received from the "welcoming committee" of that prison yard I think they still need to stay there for a while to be convinced that crime does not pay.

Popular News Anchor Isha Sesay Exits CNN, Cites Anti-trump Coverage As Reason

Popular Cable News Network reporter, Isha Sesay, has announced her exit from the organisation after spending 13 years.

Sesay broke the news on her Twitter handle, @IamIshaSesay on Wednesday, “it’s really happening, folks!! After more than a decade behind the desk with those three red letters… I HAVE LEFT CNN.”

Speaking on the reason for her exit in an interview with Whatweseeee, Sesay said, “It’s an exciting time for me — and a nerve-wracking one,” she says. “I’m writing a book about the Chibok girls, it’s being released in May 2019. It really speaks to where my head is at, currently — a lot more coverage about Africa, a lot more work on the continent, and a lot more focus on young girls. That’s what I’m about right now.”

She also revealed her frustration with Western media, which is focused on US President Trump, “it’s all so Trump-focused,” she explains. “He sucked all of the oxygen out of the room. The media is following that lead to the exclusion of almost everything else, in a meaningful way. For me, personally, it’s not what I want to spend all my time doing.”

“After a while, I want to do more coverage of the Ebola outbreak, of the elections in Liberia, or any number of things that are happening. I’m ready to take control of what I’m talking about,” Sesay added.

Lots of her followers have been reacting to the news of her exit, with many wishing her well in her future endeavours.

Sesay is a British born journalist of Sierra Leonean descent.

The issues she raised are as genuine as a new born baby. No journalist, black or white who left CNN under very unfavourable circumstances has anything good to say about it. All of them discover that after doing their masters' (US Govt) bidding. If anyone thinks the network has made it difficult for black people to work their for a long time, that might be a false flag. Do sport lovers who follow CNN sports remember one sports anchor named Matt Mckay? He left under the same circumstance like Isha and is doing well in FIFA media department.

So, to your tents African leaders.Start blowing your own trumpet. Wishing you well in your endeavour.

SureBozz:
Dear ladies, if you meet a young promising guy who is earning a monthly salary of N60,000 and wants to marry you, would you accept to marry him if he really loves you?
Why ask this question? For God's Sake are you going to tie your life and future to the salary and earnings of your spouse? How much are you earning to supplement your future spouse income? How much is your potential income apart from regular salary income? Have you factored that a woman in any relationship bears the larger brunt of managing the family than the man? You are not talking about how much you are going to invest out of the N60k and how much to save and how many kids are you going to have or how many wives your husband is going to marry or is married to? Is your spouse the frugal but saving and focussed type or the extravagant type? Ask this questions and get answers first before you agree to marry that man.

From the way you asked this question, its like you have raised your standard sio high that only someone living at Asokoro, Maitama,Garki 2, Wuse2 , Victoria Island, Lekki Peninsula, Chevron drive and high brow areas or GRA in the country can marry you. Your type no be for Ajepako but for Ajebo.

Good luck in ya search.

Celebrities › Re: Waje's Depression Story, How She Broke Her Phone by rhames(m): 11:19am On Jul 30, 2018
stane007:
Waje, who is one of the A-list songstress in the Nigerian music industry has disclosed how she went through depression and overcame it.

According to the singer in an interview with Pulse, a depressed person does not even know that they are depressed, they will give every reason to think that they are not in that place. Waje also added that since she came into limelight, she has learnt how to guard her territory.

Here's what she said;

"The thing is, many times when people talk about depression, I always come from the angle where there is a difference between depression and anger. A depressed person does not even know that they are depressed, they will give every reason to think that they are not in that place. When you are depressed, you don't want to eat, you don't want to go out, your life stops literally.

"I have come to realise that being someone in the limelight, you have to guard your territory, I have been in that space where... I wouldn't say mine was depression, mine was anger management, it was a kind of depression but the only way I could express myself was through anger.

"I remember that time, that was the year we got signed as Glo ambassadors so actually my career was doing really good. I just released my album, I was nominated in four categories in World Music Awards every year, money dey come. But I had anger issues, why because I just didn't see myself the way I wanted to see myself. I saw myself through everybody's eye. I would look at you and whatever you tell me about me is what I would accept.

"I remember one time I was so angry, I didn't want to break my because na me pay for the tv, I broke my phone, can you imagine holding a phone and bending it like literally bending it, you can imagine the rage for being able to break a phone.

"I have come to realise that you have to guard yourself, you have to understand what is going on around you. You are in the limelight, there is Waje and there is Ebele, Waje is now, we are having this interview, Ebele is when I enter my house, don't come and tell me anything that is happening in social media and add to a headache that I already have. The only thing a depressed person needs is your time and love, not your judgment, not telling the person that he has to pray and trust God. Trust me the person knew about that before they went into that state,"she said.

Waje also disclosed that she changed her friends;

"I changed my environment, the people I hung out with a lot. I changed my friends, I started looking out for friends that would tell me things to boost my ego. The truth is that your friend is the person that would tell you the truth about you. What is the truth, the is that you beautiful, you are amazing, you are peculiar, you are unique, you are strong, you are bold, false, yes but that doesn't take anything away from you.

"I started spending time with friends who would lift me up, a lot of it had to do with Uzzy because I was working with Uzzy at that time, half the time out sections would be Uzzy talking to me, he was like my sponsor, he was like my therapist. We would have conversations, sometimes it was just me talking he would not even give me any answers. And then I go to this Present House, Pastor Tony Rapu, I started going through that detoxifying and I was going through discipleship, it was just a personal thing for me. Thank God I was able to recognise love when I found it, because those that really love me, it was in their actions, not the mouth," she concluded.

https://lailasnews.com/waje-talks-about-how-she-went-through-depression-reveals-she-broke-her-phone/
Welome back to the human race. Waje, I would like to know how you got out of it. My experience with depression got to a stage I could not sleep anymore and a lot of indescribable travails. Congratulations.
Politics › Re: Ortom’s Exit From APC A Blessing To Us – Oshiomhole by rhames(m): 9:54pm On Jul 27, 2018
NgeneUkwenu:
Says Governor making political capital on the graves of Benue people

National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Comrade Adams Oshiomhole said Friday that Benue State that the exit of Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom from the party was a blessing in disguise to the APC, saying his three and half years as governor in the stage was a waste as he had no single project to show for the mandate given to him by the party.

Addressing a news conference at the party secretariat, Comrade Oshiomhole said even though the party leadership had attempted to wade into the conflict between the governor and leaders of the party in Benue State, he could not successfully defend the weighty allegation leveled against him by the leaders of the party in the state.

He said that at the instance of the Governor, the National leadership of the party had arranged another meeting to bring north Gov. Ortom and party leaders in the state to a round table with the meeting scheduled to hold on Wednesday, July 24 only for the governor to turn governance to “nollywood”.

Oshiomhole said “Within the last 48 hours we have watched the unfolding events in Benue State particularly the decision of Gov, Ortom to leave the party. Ordinarily, we would not have responded having already responded to the decision by the Publicity Secretary.

“As you all recall, Gov. Ortom had said that the APC in Benue State gave him red card to leave our party and that they will not field him in the governorship election in 2018 and that because the door had been shut against him, he had no choice than to leave. Without going into investigations, we invited him to speak to us on the issues and we also invited our party leaders in Benue State to also brief us on what the issues were.

“From the point of view of our leaders in Benue State, their position was clear that field Gov. Ortom On APC platform in 2019 can only lead to electoral defeat for a number of reasons.

“They reminded us that inspite of the allocation accruing to Benue State, the bail our fund amount to over N20 billion and the huge sums of money collected from the Paris club refund, he was not paying salaries to Benue workers, including teachers, local government employees and civil servants. He owes some of the as much as 12months salaries.

“So, the entire economy of Benue State that survives on civil servants salaries is to that effect compromised. What is not obvious is that those who live on rents paid by civil servants cannot collect their rents with which to survive, thereby having effect on the commercial live of the people. This explains a vicious circle of poverty in Benue State that has been deepened under Gov. Ortom

http://thenationonlineng.net/ortoms-exit-from-apc-a-blessing-to-us-oshiomhole/
APC's greatest mistake was imposing or electing this tout called Adams Oshiomole as its chairman. He talks before thinking and throws decorum to the winds when he likes. I stopped liking the fellow when he verbally attacked Chief Ngige recently over appointments and threatened to sack him from the party if he refused to comply with the party directives. Chief Ngige took time to explain the structure of appointments to this daft before he finally succumbed and stopped his banters. It still shows that despite being a labour leader for more than a decade and serving as an elected governor for eight years, he still does not understand how federal government works.

Understandably, he is an over educated illiterate.

My wife and her family members are driving me crazy. Their involvement in my home is becoming embarrassing. I may have to give my wife the red card asap. Her family poke noses into all my affairs. How I spent my money, who I give my money to, who I visit, and so on. All they want is to continue to expend money on them and live my life for them. I got their daughter a job, her salary isn't enough for them, how can I be taking care of able bodied men who have refused to work with their certificates, looking for jobs with good pays before they'll work, their pensioner father is not also helping matters, very difficult to please. I have made it known to my wife that our marriage contract did not include pleasing her family members but she won't listen then I worked my transfer from Lagos to Abuja, yet they're on my neck. My wife's younger brother is presently in Abuja without any clear cut mission other than to come and monitor my affairs. He called me around 7pm yesterday to tell me he's in Utako and that I should come and pick him from pack, I told him I didn't invite him to Abuja so why should I pick him up? I asked him if he didn't have a mission before coming and why he should get to Abuja before notifying me that he's coming to my place. I shunned him and switched off my phone. I switched on the phone now only to read 3 abusive text messages from my wife and one from her father threatening that if anything happens to his son, I'll be held responsible. My people, can you see my life? My pastor have been trying to broker peace between us before I left for Abuja to no avail, what I intended to do is to settle down here and get her relocated so that if she's a bit far from her family, things will work out. I'll instruct a lawyer to file divorce papers tomorrow, I can no longer take it.
From all indications, you did not study the family you married into. I had the same fate sometimes back but had to stand adamantly and make it know to my wife's family that they cannot dictate how i live my life. So you have to make it known.

Correctgist:
The Department of State, (DSS) has retained embattled Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) President, Amaju Pinnick and Scribe, Dr. Muhammed Sanusi to their offices.

Checks at the NFF Glass House secretariat reveals that DSS on Monday morning resumed duties at the Zone 7 secretariat of the NFF, asking all the staff and those who occupied the office by force since July 2, 2018 to vacate immediately.

The DSS, who said they were working on instructions from above made sure no person was left inside the secretariat after the clearance.

Few hours after, the Secretary General was led to his office by officers of the DSS, where he had resumed his legal duties as the head of the football federation's secretariat in Nigeria.

The President’s office was also cleared in readiness for the resumption of the Amaju Pinnick.

Pinnick will return to Nigeria tomorrow after supervising the CAF Round Table symposium with the five African representatives to the 2018 Russia World Cup x-raying the continent’s poor showing at the biggest soccer competition in the world.

The biggest problem of African Football is not only our administrators. It is the international federation itself: FIFA. I dont know the rationale behind the interference of the DSS, the secret police of the government for interefering in the management of football. When the FBI probed the same federation it allowed its doors opened to them for full investigation. But the same is happening in a memver ountry and FIFA turned a blind eye.

Our policy makers think like monkeys struggling for bananas. How does a currency swap help a desperate and disadvantaged country like Nigeria achieve its full potentials? In my opinion, this move will only help importers import more from China at the detriment of our industries whicch can produce if given the necessary incentives and protection.

Our policy makers tend to protect foreign industries at the detriment of our own. Thats why most of these political leaders and their economic policies have not had any impact on our economy.

My son does not speak to me and i will sit down and fold my hands that God will do it? Impossible. I will go round the country and find the best Alfas,Mallams, Pastors etc to pray to the Almighty to put that together.

From the tone of that Chief Obi's voice, something tells me that he never contributed extensively well to his sons's success compared to the mother.
